We would’ve spent probably closer to $1000, but he helped us not only save money but find better smaller parts that we can use the equipment that we prefer to use instead of buying more equipment that would only need to be used every now and then. “Good place to buy some items. They have been traditionally a made in China shop, but I saw other countries of origin today. The overall quality of merchandise has improved since my last review. They don't give away as many free items as they used to, and I haven't seen any 20% off coupons. You pretty much pay the marked price, but some items do go on sale. The store is a great help if you are doing serious work. They stock things that the big box stores don't.”

“I have been going to this little piece of paradise for 30 years. There hard work to source and stock some of the hardest to find goodies is unbelievable. You look around and dig to the back of the shelves only to see something you needed for some project. I try to take an afternoon off just to look and dig for the hard to fins things I need. But don't misunderstand and think it's a mess. It's not. The items are lined up and organized so we'll like something your OCD friend would be proud off. They just gave do much from do many different field's of endeavor that it can't all be spread out. The prices are to cheep to talk about. I will close with this. Get there go there be there for the tool time of your life. It's like a trip to canton without having to walk around for miles. And you will Remer where you parked.”
“I bought a TORO chainsaw from the center, after a few cuts the saw stopped. I called the center and after a day Alonso called me back and diagnosed the issue. I sent the battery and charger for further diagnosis .Alonso founf battery was faulty and sent out another one.even after 30 days from purchase they solved the problem without sending me to the wilderness of manufacture warranty. Great service highly recommend. RS”
“I am a third generation Sears / Craftsman devotee. The lifetime warranty of those tools was a draw.. now Harbor Freight is always my first stop. Their Pittsburgh brand tools carry a lifetime warranty, they are priced right for sure, and unless you are a journeyman using the tools everyday I simply don't think that juice is worth the squeeze to have high spend on tools.
The staff is always friendly and helpful. Do yourself a favor and buy the club membership (maybe 40 a year) which gets you specials , deeper discounts, and the occasional xx% off coupon for your highest price item. They used to offer that discount to anyone on their mailing list but the program ended during COVID and the supply chain problems.
They are surprisingly well stocked and often my latest project has some tool solution that can be had here.”

“There are no adequate words to express my great experience at Northern Tool equipment. I had couple of old picture frame, and I was trying to save them by removing an outdated welded metal attached to top of frame. I had no idea which tool to order nor did I know how to use the tool in order to remove the welded area. With that said, I decided to drive to Northern Tool equipment, and I happened to meet Alston, and I expressed to him what I was trying to achieve. He graciously and willingly helped me with out hesitation to remove the welded area and he even offered to smooth off the area after removing the metal piece. The owner must be blessed to have an amazing person on his team. Melody was also very helpful when I was trying to buy a Saw, she went above and beyond to find me the ones that were on sale…..”

“Little tight backing into unloading area. No dock , they put a pallet jack in your trailer and pull skids to the rear of trailer so forklift can take off the pallets. Nice folks. Takes about an hr - hr and half to unload 20+ skids. I delivery to this location from NC often and never had any issues. Keep up the great job !!!”

“This is the first time my husband and I have visited the store. I was shocked at how big it was. We didn’t purchase anything, it was more to get acquainted with the inventory. There seemed to be a steady line being rung out at the register which seemed good. There was also a “live” Facebook video going on towards the back.I personally do not know anything about this craft but came with my husband. I was impressed at the things offered at this store. It definitely gave my husband a starting point for whatever he is considering creating.As far as customer service, most people seemed to know what they needed or were perusing for. I did hear questions answered at random times but for the most part people seemed to know what they were there for.I am sure we will visit again.”

“SW Door did a great job for us installing custom new front and back doors in our 30-year old house nearly 10 years ago. They were helpful, on-time, fairly priced, and even spoke English. But I didnt review them then. This review is for going above-and-beyond. A few months ago a tiny part of our front door locking mechanism came loose, fell out, and was lost. It was a special crew that held the door handle in place and was difficult to find. SW Door took my call and worked w the original manufacturer to identify the piece and get it shipped for me -- at no cost. There was no real revenue opportunity here TODAY for SW Door, but they did the right thing and really helped me out. So next project I have they will certainly earn my business -- again. And I might note, the doors they installed almost 10 years ago operate like a champ. Very satisfied and I'd highly recommend them.Service: General door installation”
