“Well, this may be a little bit of a different review for Ace Hardware, I am very thankful for the store being close to the house and stocking dipping dots. Ever since I was a kid I’ve always loved dipping dots to the point that my wife got me a deep freezer specifically to keep dipping dots as they have to be stored at -40°F this store has a cooler full of them with five different flavors and they also give you a spoon whenever you purchase one of the flavors. Each flavor is an individual serving bags that are packaged by the dipping.brand and compared to the Dippin dot website they are very reasonably priced. There was plenty of parking at the store when we pulled up and my wife was able to go in and get several packages for us to put in our freezer until we get our bulk order from the manufacturer. Inside the store it was very clean and my wife said other families were there getting dipping dots for themselves as well. I hope the store continues to always stock these as it is rare to find them nowadays, and you typically only see them in a mall setting, and they are extremely overpriced.”

“Good place to buy some items. They have been traditionally a made in China shop, but I saw other countries of origin today. The overall quality of merchandise has improved since my last review. They don't give away as many free items as they used to, and I haven't seen any 20% off coupons. You pretty much pay the marked price, but some items do go on sale. The store is a great help if you are doing serious work. They stock things that the big box stores don't.”

“I highly recommend taking their classes if you are wanting to get started on woodworking, but don't know where to start. I have taken their basic woodworking and hand tool classes with Howard and both were amazing! I went in not ever using a power tool or hand tool before. As you can imagine, I was nervous and ready to embarrass myself, but Howard never made me feel that way. He took the time to explain everything and guided us the entire time. Classes are small (4-6 people) so you get the individual attention you need. If you look at the cost of the classes and how many hours you spend with a professional woodworker and the supplies they provide, you'll realize what an incredible value it is. This place is a hidden gem!”

“About three years ago, I had a door recalibrated. They did a terrific job. More recently, I needed to replace the bottom door sweep on our front door. Our front door is 3 1/2 feet wide and 2 1/4 inches thick. You can't buy these at Home Depot or Lowe's. Richardson door was nice enough to sell me the part that I need so I could install it myself. I called a couple of their competitors first, they would not sell any parts.”
“I bought a TORO chainsaw from the center, after a few cuts the saw stopped. I called the center and after a day Alonso called me back and diagnosed the issue. I sent the battery and charger for further diagnosis .Alonso founf battery was faulty and sent out another one.even after 30 days from purchase they solved the problem without sending me to the wilderness of manufacture warranty. Great service highly recommend. RS”

Handyman in there named Steve helped me find and buy the right tools, went to the parking lot, and didn’t just tell me what to do but physically helped me with my problem. You do not get that kind of service from the big box stores, and it’s the reason why I continue to use Ace and a reason why I’ve given two difference Ace Hardware stores 5-stars.

“Although this place is not open to the public if you do need plywood, trim, or doors there really is no better place to go. They have a CNC machine which opens up a ton of options for them to help you make custom orders!
They have good prices on bulk buys as well as good deals on inventory they are trying to move.
Go check out the showroom. If you were a contractor to see what options you can get for cheap!
The owners are very nice and they are very passionate about making sure that their customers receive great service!
Also ask about their contractors who will do installation on doors.”

“I have been going to this little piece of paradise for 30 years. There hard work to source and stock some of the hardest to find goodies is unbelievable. You look around and dig to the back of the shelves only to see something you needed for some project. I try to take an afternoon off just to look and dig for the hard to fins things I need. But don't misunderstand and think it's a mess. It's not. The items are lined up and organized so we'll like something your OCD friend would be proud off. They just gave do much from do many different field's of endeavor that it can't all be spread out. The prices are to cheep to talk about. I will close with this. Get there go there be there for the tool time of your life. It's like a trip to canton without having to walk around for miles. And you will Remer where you parked.”
“This review is about Riley and Derek from the Wylie TX store.
I was looking for a riding lawn mower. I know I wanted good quality and a good price. Riley was extremely patient with me, he took the time to explain the different riding lawn mowers they carry, but I cannot tell you how many times he was about to ring the price and I changed my mind as to which tractor I wanted. He was very, very, very patient with me. He helped me with the credit application, he did all the work and not once became impatient with me.
My next dilemma was how to get the tractor from point A to point B. I KNOW they could have loaded the tractor to my truck, but the problem was HOW I was going to unload it without destroying the tractor or killing myself. So Riley and Derek put their thoughts together and Derek was so kind that he delivered the tractor on his truck to my house the next day. Derek took the time to show me how the tractor worked, he made me ride the tractor so I could become familiarized with the machine, and he answered all my questions.
This purchase could not have happened without Riley and Derek. It just shows you THEIR dedication, teamwork, awesome customer service, and most importantly, DEDICATION and LOYALTY to their employer (Tractor Supply Company), by going out of their way to help a client and make a sale.

“Little tight backing into unloading area. No dock , they put a pallet jack in your trailer and pull skids to the rear of trailer so forklift can take off the pallets. Nice folks. Takes about an hr - hr and half to unload 20+ skids. I delivery to this location from NC often and never had any issues. Keep up the great job !!!”
“SW Door did a great job for us installing custom new front and back doors in our 30-year old house nearly 10 years ago. They were helpful, on-time, fairly priced, and even spoke English. But I didnt review them then. This review is for going above-and-beyond. A few months ago a tiny part of our front door locking mechanism came loose, fell out, and was lost. It was a special crew that held the door handle in place and was difficult to find. SW Door took my call and worked w the original manufacturer to identify the piece and get it shipped for me -- at no cost. There was no real revenue opportunity here TODAY for SW Door, but they did the right thing and really helped me out. So next project I have they will certainly earn my business -- again. And I might note, the doors they installed almost 10 years ago operate like a champ. Very satisfied and I'd highly recommend them.Service: General door installation”
