She gave us so much information about puppy food, supplements, and what to look out for if my puppy were to have a reaction. She gave us a sample of the puppy food that way we could try it at home. Scotty is obsessed with their peanut butter drops. We love that they are local and don't use big market products. It definitely made us feel way better about the food we are giving her. I can't wait to take her to get groomed because she deff smells like a stinky dog right now. Thank you Daniela for the excellent customer service.

Both of our doodles came home smiling and happy from their day at the spa :-) They do high quality work with attention to detail, and listen to what you would like. Our pup was pretty matted due to us waiting on our regular groomer who cancelled and then couldn’t get us in for some time, but they did a fantastic job with him regardless. I am so glad we found this place!

All of the doctors are compassionate and will listen to your concerns and they work very hard to follow up with you and talk to you about care plans. They will do research on new kinds of treatments and medicines to give your pet the best level of care they can. They are always up front with the cost of tests and vaccines and will check with you before doing anything. It's pretty easy to get an appointment within a few days, sometimes even same day if it seems urgent. If they are unable to help you after hours or something they help you find an emergency vet. All of the staff are nice and seem to really care about the animals. When one of my cats passed away they sent me a card signed by the whole staff. I wish I could find a doctor that gave me the level of care this practice gives my pets.

1100 TX-80, San MarcosWhen I took my baby Max in after being attacked by a pit bull they didn’t hesitate to work on Max right away. I did take him to 2 vets and they wanted me wait a couple of days to do surgery not with an open wound he had. The whole staff were so nice and very friendly. Thank you so much. Even my grumpy little old dachshund, loves the doctors here. Everywhere else, he needs a muzzle to be handled. I have a very energetic 75 lb dog that doesn't do very well around other dogs, so this place makes special arrangements for me to bring her around the side ,so she doesn't get triggered by other dogs. This place goes above and beyond!! Highly recommend!!

177 Coachman Dr, San MarcosThe staff here are always friendly and it’s obvious they love playing wit( the animals. My dog Misty had come here multiple times and absolutely loves it. The pool I think is her fav even if it’s just to chill in the shallows. As a hunting dog puppy, having the room to run and socialize has been very beneficial to her training. I just wish I could take this place with me as I’m moving away. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

My original Reason for choosing Kaliber was because Victor was clearly able to outline the objectives of training, and ensure that he was going to complete the job. Victor was amazing keeping in touch with me weekly sending me videos updates. We had a plan for a six week training. My dog was needing a little extra time and for no extra charge, he stayed 2 more weeks making sure that the training was complete! In the end, my dog is transformed. The obedience is able to be repeated at home! Highly effective!!

500 Anchor Hill Rd, San MarcosI think I first boarded my dog somewhere around 2005/6ish. My dog then had a great time and I've boarded again here recently after returning to the area. I've never had a complaint. It's family run and isn't any sort of fancy set up. It works great for me. I do understand that there are odd and strict hours, but again I've never had a problem. Recently I researched some other places, but they would charge an extra fee if you picked up after noon. Frandy Oaks charges by night so no matter if you pick up in the morning or afternoon you are not charged extra.

680 Oakwood Loop, San MarcosWe recently moved to San Marcos and visited Roughhouse Brewing for the first time on Friday evening. On a map, it seemed a lift to get there, but it was less than 20 minutes and an easy drive from our house in South San Marcos - glad we finally did it! This is a beautiful property and building. The staff was friendly and let us try plenty of beer samples before deciding. The beer is quality, and I appreciate they have some wine selections for someone who isn't a beer drinker or doesn't feel like beer during their visit. We really appreciated that they have a kitchen. It's mainly bar snacks and sandwiches, but the sandwich combinations they offer are top notch. We had the queso (great!), the Roughhouse Reuben and Big Italian, both excellent. Highly recommend folks visit Roughhouse!

This was our first time but will not be the last. The food was great. We had crostini's with goat cheese for an appetizer. Ordered Cajun shrimp fettuccine and my husband had their ribeye. Both were delicious. For indecisive drinkers, they have wine, beer and margarita flights. Their menu is varied and great for even the pickiest of eaters.

I ordered a drink for myself as well as my girlfriend and they wouldn’t let me take it to the table. Again, it’s okay — whoever owns it obviously cares about what they do. It’s way too expensive… $6 when most places are charging $12. How dare they charge less! If that bluegrass band comes on Wednesday, they’re packed — clearly an indication of good business . A truly humble (“we better the community”) establishment.
