We have a 10-month-old Golden Retriever who was dealing with severe stomach issues back in January. After multiple vet visits, prescriptions, and tests, we still didn’t have real answers or lasting relief. We were exhausted and worried.
On a whim, we stopped into Shaggy Dog in Buda and spoke with the owner about everything we’d been going through. He took the time to really listen and gave thoughtful, personalized recommendations for a new food regimen. We decided to give it a try and I am so glad we did!
It’s like we have a brand-new dog! He’s more energetic, happier, has perfect bowel movements, and hasn’t had a single tummy issue since switching his diet. The difference has been incredible.
This is the kind of care and knowledge you only get from a specialty store where the owner truly stands behind his products. We would much rather invest in our pup’s health now than continue racking up vet bills for emergency visits.
I highly recommend Shaggy Dog to anyone in the area. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and genuinely cares about the well-being of your pets. Thank you for giving us our happy, healthy boy back!

3200 Ranch to Market Rd 967, BudaWe had such a great experience with Dr. East and Sabrina when we brought in our new puppy. They were both so kind, patient, and easy to talk to, which really helped calm our nerves as new puppy owners.
Dr. East took the time to explain everything and answered all of our questions in a way that actually made sense. We never felt rushed. Sabrina was just as wonderful and treated our puppy with so much care and attention.
You can tell they genuinely love what they do and truly care about the animals they see. We feel really lucky to have found them and cannot say enough good things. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a vet they can trust.

14025 South Turnersville Road, BudaThis review is long overdue. I cannot say enough positive things about Remington Pet Ranch. I’ve been bringing my dog to Remington for several years and we’ve never had anything less than a stellar experience with them.
My dog is paraplegic and uses a wheelchair. On top of, and likely because of, that, he is also extremely anxious. Most boarding facilities and in home sitters in the area outright refused to take him and the ones that did told me that they can’t handle his care after one visit. Remington Pet Ranch changed everything. They have been nothing short of compassionate and caring towards my special boy. They have adapted their standard care plans to meet his needs and made sure he has as enriching of an experience as every other dog in their care. I never thought I’d feel comfortable leaving him in a boarding facility, let alone get the point where I barely think twice about it. I would never take my dog anywhere else. If they’re booked up, my travel plans will change. Thank you Remington Pet Ranch!

Canine Moxy
200 Austin Street, BudaWe have two Border Collies, the older boy took Venomous Snake Avoidance Class at another company. We later bought the second pup and we found Canine Moxy's snake class. A few months after the pup's training, he came into contact with our empty snake bucket that had previously only held nonvenomous snakes and he went ballistic! He scrambled too get away, but not without trying to take my husband with him. He positioned himself between the snake bucket and Greg and tried to push and pull him away from the snake. The Canine Moxy training worked extremely well. After that, we found a Venomous cottonmouth. While that snake was still in the bucket full of holes so the snake could be seen and smelled, our older dog walked up, sniffed the bucket, and walked off. Obviously his training (at the other company) didn't take, so we knew we needed to get him to Canine Moxy, too. Canine Moxy is the real deal!

There were so many compliments given and everyone was asking where their food truck locations are. They even accommodated our request of no nuts and were able to ensure no cross contamination.

I was so delighted and surprised with the prices, also they have a small cash discount for those lucky few that still carry it. Super friendly as fast service. Came in for our first time and we cleaned our plates! Will be coming back as it brings back memories of the Dallas Tortilla Factory, truly worth the visit
