“I recently visited the UPS store in Richmond. Upon entering the store, noticed a que, what came shortly apparent to me was the quality, and calming professional manner in which Paul, dealt with each individual patron. As Paul was the only postal person at that time, he offer apologies, and reassurance it shouldn't take very long, and he was right! Paul, even took time to take care of a elderly patron whom appeared to be a frequent customer. The professionalism that Paul exhibited is very rare in my opinion, for that reason I made it my business to put pen to paper and let his supervisor know how satisfied I was with his excellet customer service.”
“I want to give a 5 but can’t, yet, as a business customer. Staff is all very friendly, helpful and professional to the best of their ability. I say to the best of their ability because of what I will share below. Which is why I hope the owner reads this.
This location is in a high growth area where I assume demand for business mailboxes will increase. The store size will become a problem (is a problem during holiday periods) and the lack of store sophistication, particularly for business services, is a problem, compared to other locations.
Box renewal reminders and the ease of renewing the box annually is a challenge - really outdated process. I get phone calls but when I call back I get a busy signal often. Renewed over the phone but no method to email me a payment receipt?
Last Christmas this store was so overrun they couldn’t find one of my packages until February. Finally, I have always been able to buy stamps for business use at other UPS stores. This location never has any.”

Because of a document error that needed correcting, I only had an hours notice to find a notary and get the entire process completed by the end of the day. UPS Store Staples Mill was definitely the way to go! They had me in and out of there expeditiously.”

It's comforting that my mail and packages are safe and dry rather than sitting on my porch in the weather or free for porch pirates to grab. “While at this location, I will admit it’s somewhat small. It does the job for what you are looking for.
Yes, I have seen employees be short with the customers, but every time that has happened it is because the customer has an extreme attitude over something that these employees have nothing to do with and it was always 100% the corporate side which they have no control over .
Many times I have asked for recommendations and the employees are always on top of what is needed and have very fast answers .
This seems to be high and from time to time are out of boxes or envelopes, which is understandable seeing how many people come through here on a daily basis .”

“I would’ve given a 10 bc the service has always been great. But for an occurrence on 7/3/25 around 12:25pm. My mom brought the wrong package to the store to be returned. I called the store 25 minutes later to see if I could retrieve the package as it had just been delivered to our house that morning with new products. There were 2 employees working and I recognize both. I was told the package had already been picked up by the UPS truck & I’d have to call them directly to sort things out. That’s not the issue bc the problem was our mistake. The problem was I was lied to by the initial employee bc when I called UPS they said no the truck didn’t pick up until much later in the day & they could tell by the code I gave that the package was still in the Busy Street store #6354. I quickly called back and the other employee answered-thankfully! When I told him the package hadn’t been pu he was upfront and said there were close to 100 packages there and it was a high likelihood he wouldn’t find it. But he’d try. He called me back within minutes and had located it! What a lifesaver!!! His name is Edwin. He went above & beyond, was ethical, honest, and set my expectations. His taking a few extra minutes during his busy day to try to help me saved me so much time in rectifying what could’ve been a big time consuming effort on my part. I won’t mention the employee’s name who lied, was lazy, and unhelpful. But you’ve got the date & time so can research that to see who else was working. Edwin deserves a raise and a shout out! That’s the kind of employer you want on your team representing your company!”

“Fabulous plant beds maintained seasonally by the Salsbury Garden Club. Such a welcoming feature. There are also a few gorgeous lilies that were planted by a former employee that continue to bloom and grow. Check them out in June and the other plants that make this place shine!”
“I've never had an issue, but I rarely use any shipping places. I'm sure if you're a regular customer most anywhere then you're bound to have a problem. Over 25 years I have no issues.”
