Care-A-Lot, 301 Oyster Point Rd, Newport NewsMy go to for all the fur baby goodies and necessities I need This location is conveniently located off two main roads in the shopping center beside cvs and planet fitness I love browsing the aisles for funny dog toys most of which I don't but simply because my big baby destroys everything I hand her hahaha But I usually always find at least one worthy toy and some treats for her The staff her are very pleasant and not overbearing I feel the prices are reasonable and if you go towards the back they Even have free samples near their restrooms sometimes treats or food definitely great to keep for hikes with the pup They also have a boarding area daycare type section and even a groomer I have not used those services yet but soon I might take advantage of that

If I could rate them a 10, I would.i totally trust them with my dog. the store managers are great and the groomers are great not to mention the great products and food they sell. I have used all their services from buying products to grooming to daycare. And if I have to ever board my dog that's the place it will be..the whole team in the store is just awesome..

I came here as a walk-in hoping for a more thorough job. Susan got us in and out so fast, was extremely thorough and professional, and my nervous cat did great. Additionally, the prices here are extremely affordable. I can’t recommend this place enough!

She has made my Chloe Anne so comfortable and taken the anxiety out of the picture. I suggest her to everyone I know. She really is an amazing person and groomer.

They are on time and do a really good job cleaning her, she's all white and her eyes and around her mouth get really stained but they got her cleaner than any groomer so far and she smelled so good! Definitely worth the money

She has gone out of her way to get my dog a medical diagnosis that was needed and communicated with me regarding medication changes and whether or not I felt them necessary based on behavior at home. She also introduced me to a shot that is good for my one dog’s arthritis. It is 100% worth the ride from Chesapeake to Newport News once a month because the difference is astronomical! The staff are amazing and will go out of their way to help you. If you are looking for a vet, I highly recommend Dr Dove! Warwick Animal Hospital treats you like you’re family and treats your animals as if they were their own.

No More Chasin' Tails
1 Court House Dr, Newport NewsI want to thank Dr. Califf and her staff for helping me with a feral cat that my grandmother has been feeding for a couple years that would come and go months at a time. He started coming back with a terrible wound and infection around his neck. So finally I tried to find places that could help and No More Chaisin Tails was really the only place that was willing to help me. They were so quick to respond to emails and so good about scheduling and rescheduling appointments with me because you can't count on these kitties to show up when it's time for their appointments! It turned out this boy was FIV+. Dr Califf did give me the option of euthanasia but she did not pressure me and she was very patient with me as I weighed the option of trying to go through with treating this poor kitty and if I had the ability to nurse him or not. Dr. Califf stitched up his wounds, neutered him and treated his infection. He is gaining weight again and is such a happy boy and I can tell he feels lucky to be alive and we both share a bond now. A huge thanks to these miracle workers keep up what you are doing you made a difference in this boys life. 10/10 recommend

Most vets today won't provide much help if you have a pet that is sick. Woodland Veterinary Hospital is a very caring facility for animals! Dr. DeAngelis examined my pet while I was in the room, and she explained very step in detail. She is an amazing doctor!!

I do prefer a mobile vet because the animals are so much more at ease. Dr. Gibson honestly loves what she does and this shows. Whenever I am able, I have her services. She has also been available for euthanasia. While that is awful and sad to experience, I can’t think of a better person, doctor and situation for this need.Because this is a small mobile vet service with limited hours, you generally need to call ahead and schedule regarding availability. If she is unable to perform certain services due to the nature of her mobile service, or feels that your animal would benefit from services elsewhere, she will recommend that.Dr. Gibson is professional, moral, a good communicator and a downright good person and veterinarian who loves animals.

Colony Animal Hospital
13187 Warwick Blvd, Newport NewsJD, our cat, was holding up his paw for a few days and we decided to take him to Colony Animal Hospital, our vet provider for many years. Thanks to their early morning drop off (7:30 AM) I was able to bring him in and he would be seen as time permitted. Dr. Riggs was able to see JD early and discovered a burn/cut on his paw. Via phone call she let us know about the injury and her treatment plan and meds we could get when we picked up JD. The care for JD was excellent and the office routines are well established and flow smoothly.
Colony Animal Hospital is a welcoming place. Decorations change with seasons but more importantly everyone is an animal lover. Pets as well as people are acknowledged and respected.
Quality health care is important for pets and Colony Animal Hospital is provides service worth more than 5 Stars.

My husband and I always go to sushi for date night but this has been our favorite place by far! I read lots of reviews beforehand and knew that our food may take a little bit to get to us but we weren't bothered at all as each roll was obviously handmade and freshly prepared. The spicy tuna was particularly fresh, especially compared to the crunch-mixed mush you often get at other establishments. We ordered the volcano roll, Spencer roll, spicy tuna, and rainbow roll. In the pictures we had already each eaten a piece of spicy tuna. Our server was very attentive and nice, food was excellent. We will definitely be back.

Sometimes I vary and I'll order the lunch rice vegetable vegetables, and protein choice, the mixed vegetables with a protein, or the hibachi with the choice of me or some of my favorites.
