Most of the workers are friendly and aways willing to help you. So.etimes you may run across one or two who are lazy as I did yesterday while shopping with my granddaughter , we were purchasing fish for her fish tank the young lady was standing there we immediately spotted the fish we wanted tetras and I stead of asking us if she could help us she walked away. I waited for several minutes she returned a.d went into a area that said employees only. I 2aited an additional 5 min she never came out!! Finally I went to the register and asked the cashier to page someone to help me with the fish. Well low and behold she came out the room on her cell phone. I was hot!! because at least 15 min had passed.I let her know I was not happy. But like I said most times things are good. I go to the Petsmart in Chesapeake Va in the Greenbrier area.

Canine Corner
1764 South Military Highway, ChesapeakeI’ve been coming to Canine Corner for a while now, and I’m satisfied every single time. I have a bunch of dogs, and I mainly bring them in to get their nails trimmed. It’s walk-in only, and the process is always pretty quick and easy.
The first time I came, one of my dogs was NOT having it. She has historically preferred to break her own legs off rather than let anyone touch her toes 😂, so understandably, it took a little longer. Jorden was incredibly patient with her and worked with her instead of forcing the process. Now my girl gets her pedicures with no problem!
I also recently brought in another one of my dogs, Nyla, for the first time. While she was in the back, I could hear Jorden introducing herself to Nyla, introducing her to the salon, and basically talking her through what they were going to do before getting started. That might seem like a small thing, but it meant a lot to me.
Nyla was my mom’s dog, and my mom recently passed away. She’s been grieving too, while also having to adjust to a completely different life, living with me and suddenly being surrounded by all of my other dogs. Knowing everything Nyla has been through recently, hearing Jorden take the time to talk to her, be patient with her, and make an effort to help her feel safe and comfortable genuinely touched me.
Overall, it’s very clear that Jorden doesn’t see dog grooming as just a job. She’s genuinely passionate about what she does, takes it seriously, and understands that every dog has a different personality, history, and comfort level.
Most recently, she even accommodated one of my dogs who decided he simply was NOT going to the back that day. Instead of making it an issue, Jorden trimmed his nails right there in the waiting area while we were surrounded by two of my other dogs. Meanwhile, my crazy Doberman was running laps around her brother, and I was stressed out by the absolute chaos 😂. Jorden was completely unfazed and just kept doing her thing.
When you have multiple dogs with very different personalities, finding someone who is patient, confident, adaptable, and genuinely cares about the animals in front of her makes a huge difference. I definitely recommend Canine Corner, and especially Jorden. I’m very grateful for the care she’s shown all of my dogs, but especially Nyla during a really difficult transition for our family.

I love how Callie is jumping up and down when I have dropped her and picked her up ( she’s excited). Callie hadn’t been groomed in a while due to some unforeseen circumstances and no one made me feel bad or ashamed ( I was ashamed enough) They strive to make sure I am always happy with the service! We will be long time customers!

I don't tend to review a business on the first visit, I prefer to go back several times to see how they do over the long term. With that said I am very happy with the care and service that my Dog gets from Posh Pooch and I will continue to go back. I have a Working Line German Shepherd and he is typical of his breed; headstrong and stubborn but that doesn't slow Jess down. She has earned his respect and his trust. I take him in once a month for a nail trim, ear cleaning, and paw pad trimming. Their prices are fair and they attend to my Dog quickly and efficiently. I will be making arrangements to get him a bath and groom at Posh Pooch in the near future. If you are looking for a good Dog Groomer I recommend Posh Pooch.

Canine Designs Pet Grooming

I took my 9-year-old Shiba Inu, Zoey, in to get cleaned up, and I’ll admit—I was a little nervous. Zoey is a rescue and can be anxious, and despite how much I brush her, she had quite a few stubborn tufts of extra hair. I’m also always nervous about trimming her nails because they’re dark, so I worry about cutting them too short.
I did a quick Google search for groomers who specialize in double-coated dogs and found Canine Designs. I’m SO glad I did!
They worked their magic on Zoey! She came home looking absolutely beautiful. Not only did she smell amazing, but those pesky hair tufts were completely gone, and her coat looked incredible. And her nails were trimmed beautifully! No more clicky-clack, clicky-clack every time she walks across the floor. 😂
Most importantly, Zoey looked happy and well cared for, which means so much to me.
My husband was so impressed with how great she looked that he now wants to take his big oaf of a dog there too! 😂

They don’t spend five minutes with your animal/issues - they spend as much time as is needed for exam, treatment, and labs/tests, thorough and follows up until issues addressed. Definitely more expensive care around, but another classic example of get what you pay for. Good customer service, equipment, and also very hygienic facility comes with the price. Scheduling is also not an issue. Treats allergies, parasites, illnesses, injuries, sun spots, other infections. Plenty of other good vets around here, we prefer Cooke.

I am still so touched and moved by how kind, caring, compassionate, understanding, accommodating, and gentle Dr. Porter was. It was my first time ever having to put down a pet, and I didn't know what to expect. Dr. Porter didn't push us to do anything we didn't feel comfortable with. He listened and gave us all of our options, and was willing to work with anything that would make us most comfortable. This is exactly the kind of vet you want when you have to make hard decisions. They needed time to adjust but they did, and when I picked them up I could see that they were ok and actually comfortable with the staff. The coffee was awesome and the staff was great. This is not a big corporate coffee place. Its veteran owned and operated and well worth visiting if you are in the area even if it side tracks you.

My wife and I are big craft beer people, especially when it comes to sours and goses, so we ordered a couple flights and then went back for full pours of the ones we liked best. We enjoyed the beer and never felt rushed, even while hanging out watching college football. It's exactly what we want from a neighborhood brewery: good beer, good service and a comfortable place to spend a couple hours. We'll definitely be back.

Lily's the most extensive menu of any creperie I've ever been to--both savory and sweet crepes. We each had a different savory crepe, and everyone was very pleased. We also had a milkshake and an iced latte in our order. The portions are generous. We will definitely be back for dessert!

I live about 25 minutes away and decided to go inside and try a lavender latte with oat milk. I must say it didn't disappoint. It's been almost a year since I've visited, so I decided to take the ride to get the latte. While it was still good, it didn't taste like I remember. Not sure which, but it could be my taste buds or maybe the recipe has changed.
