I am one of the volunteers with Lil Roar Cat Rescue at the adoption center inside of Petsmart. The management and staff are very supportive and helpful with our kitties. We are all so happy to have such a great relationship with Petsmart and the best customers and adopters ever. A special thank you to all of the wonderful customers who donate much of the food and treats that Little Roar cats enjoy every day!

3700 Hampton Blvd, Norfolk*Visiting from out of town for 2 weeks, would return if I were stationed here.* They were able to get my girl in for a bath, de-shed, toenails, and ears with just a few days notice. Not only does Rose smell amazing but they actually took the time to de-shed her (we’ve done this service at other places and hair just continues to fly off of her). Alanna was amazing and cannot recommend enough to anyone searching for a great place for their pet. Their small Sshop also had a lot of safe, minimal ingredient snacks for your fur baby. Hope this review continues to help others find, I base my selection of places solely on recent reviews ♥️

846 W 45th St, NorfolkMy dog and I freaking love Happy Tails. I have taken him to other boarding places and he would never get excited to go. When taking him to Happy Tails though, I can see a HUGE difference with him that tells me how much he loves it. As soon as we turn down the road to it, he is spazzing out with excitement because he knows where he is going. He gets so excited to see all the employees and when I pick him up, he always looks irritated that I got him and he doesn't want to leave. He is a very high energy dog and when I bring him home, he is out like a light for the whole night. The employees have been nothing but amazing every time I talk with them. You also can't beat their pricing as well.

They always send videos of my dogs so I can see how much fun they're having. I've heard many horror stories about problematic daycare centers, so it's such a relief to find a center that is so open and transparent about what goes on at the facility.

The cost is lower than vets in town, and they take our USAA pet insurance. The staff are easy to deal with and are willing to work with you if you can't exactly meet the appointment time. Lab results that weren't required to be sent to another facility came back 2 hours after they were collected, which was amazing.

The two workers were speaking French to eachother while cooking its small inside with a bar style table facing the wall just like you would find in paris france. Parts of the menu were written with chalk highliting the specials. There menu was quite exotic with a plethora of options, ive never though about a crepe not being sweet but they had options to add meats cheeses and veggies just like you could with an omelet. Over all it was a fun place to stop at and the food was really good. Ill be comming back to explore more of the menu! My daughter was a fan as well!

You don’t know how welcome your benevolent carryout lunches on 11/12 were! Thanks especially for going out of your way to make a fresh shrimp po-boy for us. Everything was absolutely delicious and incredibly appreciated. Looking forward to visiting you all again in the future when we have some disposable income once more.

The atmosphere is inviting and looks like a great place to just hang out. Their coffee and baked goods are delicious. My absolute favorite thing about this coffee shop, is that the drinks are consistent! They taste the same every time, I love love love that! So good!
I've come back to add to my review a year later. This place is still the best. Although, it's Saturday morning and I had too much fun last night. I have no intentions of leaving this bed. All I want right now is an iced Apelu Island latte ? I wish I could order some Apelu off of Uber Eats. That's my one and only gripe. Love y'all so much!

6700 Azalea Garden Rd, NorfolkI visited The Norfolk Botanical Garden when I lived in Norfolk, Va in 1971. I have very vivid memories of the beautiful Azaleas in full bloom. Such a pleasant and tranquil place to walk and see all of the creations of vegitation GOD & Jesus created.
That is one of my favorite places I visited back then.

820 Shirley Ave, NorfolkMy only regret is that I did not try this place sooner; I've driven by it so many times without popping in. That was my loss. The staff are great. The restaurant is always clean. It's a locally owned small business that is owner operated. They sell an assortment of fresh butchered meats as well as imported goods such as pasta and wine and olive oil from Italy but I love that they also offer local wine selections. They offer fresh baked goods such as desserts and breads. Their sweet focaccia is to die for ! It always sells out pretty quickly. They also offer a lunch menu that features burgers and sandwiches which are also great. This is one of my top 10 Norfolk eateries for sure !
