“It was that time of year again for car safety inspection and after having made several calls around town to get my car inspected, University was the first place that allowed me to set a time/date to bring my car in. I found Josh to be warm and friendly upon my arrival, he answered all my questions, allowed me to add an oil change/tire rotation to my original request of an inspection. Upon picking my car up, the warm, friendly greeting met me again. Josh explained the services performed on my car, again answering any questions I had. I found the cost very reasonable, in fact, once home and comparing the cost to all my many years of service done at a local dealership, University was a bit lower, always a plus but I left feeling more confident in the services done on my vehicle. I highly recommend this business, it is now my "go to" place for any of my vehicle needs. Thanks Josh!”

“first i went to the tire city right next door, had 2 tires back to back not holding air so i felt i couldn’t trust them anymore. hence why i came here instead. one man show on a saturday, and what i heard he is the owner of the place as well. he took the tire off to find that the tire city didn’t clean any of the rim up, all he did was take a wire brush and compressed air to it real quick, same tire back on, and lo and behold, it held air. knowledgeable guy who won’t try and price gouge you.”
“I came to here after getting turned away at another shop, Jim squeezed me in to get my tires in. Jim was so polite and very welcoming. My friend and I were in the waiting area for about three hours since we didn’t have a ride. We chit chatted and it had the time go super fast. Since I was there for a while I noticed how welcoming and up beat he was to ever since customer that walked in. Highly recommend!”

Fast and efficient and they always have my tire. We didn't even have to get out of the car so it's very handicap accessible. You just pull up tell them what you need and if they have it they pull you into the garage, jack up your car and do it while you sit in your own space in your AC or your heat, depending on the season. Leek is the best!! Thank you Cider Tire and you know we'll always be back! Give them a tip! They work hard!”
“I ordered some tires online, which I recommend never using Priority Tire, but through that site, I was able to schedule an appointment at this Pep Boys to have the tires installed. So I took off work for the morning of installation & Priority Tire with their awful customer service (ignoring me, rude) were late shipping them out. Now I just have to bring up Priority Tire only because Jesse at Pep Boys personally looked out for my package of tires, personally took the time to reach out to me which she didn't have to do and her and Mr. Allen were so kind and professional to me and I appreciate them and their technicians very much and I highly recommend this particular Pep Boys location.”

I searched for custom shops in the area and came across HI Dust—and they handled the job without any issues at all. I wasn’t aware of this shop before, but they’ve definitely earned my support and future business. The team was professional, knowledgeable, and had great attitudes. “I have been coming here since I moved to Norfolk about 3 yrs ago. They are always very helpful. They have the most comfortable waiting area that I have ever been in. They always have something interesting on the television, complementary coffee, peanuts, and ice cream. Their bathrooms are always really clean. The staff is always so helpful and polite. Above everything else, they are willing to listen to you and make you happy as a customer which if you are a woman means a lot because there are so many auto places out trying to take advantage.”

“OMG I cannot say enough good stuff and sing the praises of Tamika, Greg and Christian. My Honda Fit 🚙 stopped working and would not turn on. I needed to drive my car from VA to NY and was short on time. I came by and even though they were swamped and couldn’t get it done the same day they took a look at it in between their jobs and was able to give me an idea of the issue. They started working on it first thing the next day and even stayed late to ensure that my car was done. I cannot be anymore thankful and appreciative of all the work that they put in to ensure I was able to get on the road safely. “I usually have a long wait over an hour due to bringing in a rental that Firestone has to get approval from rental agency before any work can be done. I found out it makes a huge difference to schedule oil change appointments vs just walking in. It tends to be a less wait time when I call ahead. I also had to stop in to get turning signal bulb replaced. They got me in and out.”

“This is a brief review because I am a frequent visitor because this location and the people who work here are so amazing that my purchases alone support the cause - smiling!The customer service is great. The store is also clean, well-stocked, and well-lighted, so you can see everywhere without reading glasses.The employees walk the aisles and offer help if you need it. If you don't, they keep restocking or cleaning, and they are friendly.The savings on gas prices are enough to get back our money we pay annually. The people who come here to get gas are so darn courteous even during the gas shortages.One time, a gentleman saved me after wasps flew out of my gas cap area and stung me when I opened it to pump gas.Anyway, great store, great gas prices, wonderful neighbors.
