“I had a really great experience here. Booking an appointment online was very easy and they had appointments available same day which is super convenient. I had let them know what was going on with my car when I booked the appointment online all I had to do was drop the keys off & confirm the diagnostic fee. Full transparency I don’t know much about cars but I felt like they kept me informed the whole time they texted me with updates and to confirm that I would pay pricing for what they were doing. When I picked up my car they again confirmed what they had done & let me know that my car battery has a warranty of 2 years so if I have any issues with it moving forward they’d replace for free! I feel like as a person who doesn’t know much about car cost there is always a fear of getting taken advantage of but this place is totally fair!! I read that they’re fair and transparent in other people’s reviews that’s why I went here and can confirm it’s true.”

“Keith was incredibly helpful when I purchased my first hybrid vehicle, going above and beyond with taking the time to walk me through everything - not only the car, but the service department, as well as the user manuals. I felt like both he and Mike worked with me to get exactly what I was looking for, and Sade made the financing process a breeze. Everyone I met throughout the process was kind and easy to talk to. Not once did I feel pressured, and it was an overall wonderful experience.”

Truly great guys and great service. I would definitely recommend Carfellos to all my friends and family!”

“Been with Coastal since 2003. They are very honest about what needs done and what doesn't. That is worth our gold. They are dependable. You know the work is done well. I have a 2006 Toyota Matrix that runs like a dream because they have cared for it since day one. Can't say enough good about Coastal! Just had my 140,000 mile check up. We are ready to go. The list below covers all that was done, but I didn't check it all off. Thanks Coastal.”

“Great team at Big Al’s! They are courteous and quickly diagnosed what needed to happen with my emissions code, took care of the problem. when I picked up the car, I got a good rundown of what they took care of and also some tips for maintaining the emission system long-term. They also went above and beyond to pop-back-on some trim that had come off under a door, no charge. This was my first time at this spot, and I’ll certainly be going back.”

“Exceptional!! Highly recommend! We brought my 06 Wrangler here for a frame assessment. They were very thorough and honest. They brought my husband into the shop to show him the underside of my Jeep and also took pics for future reference. Luckily, my Jeep doesn't need repair at this time, but when it does, this is where the work will be done. I also want to say a huge thank you for helping me continue to win the fight against my husband. 😂 I'll drive my Jeep until the bottom falls out & with your help, that will never happen!”

“I am very much satisfied with their service. Last year I changed my Honda Civic muffler. They gave me options: either I can repair the existing muffler or, I can install a new one. In my opinion, they are honest, affordable and definitely expert in this area. Recently, I checked my car's rear brakes, rotors and they gave me their honest opinions and didn't charge me for the checkup.”

“My son's car stalled and was affected by the flooding in Norfolk on 8/4/2026. I did some searching, read reviews and started to call several shops. Midway stood out right away from my phone call and we had his car towed to their shop. How the front office handles customers over the phone matters. We needed his car checked for water intrusion in the engine. Due to the high volume of maintenance at the time, they were not able to put the car on a lift and run a full diagnostic of the car. They did try and manually turn the engine over (locked tight) and did a cursory inspection of the car and found water intrusion in the cabin area in several places. They knew that further water damage inspection of the vehicle (oil and transmission system) wasn't likely necessary as the insurance will probably total the car. They didn't charge for these services because they didn't run a full diagnostic on a lift - but they easily could have charged me and I would have paid. They have been great to deal with during this entire process and I would absolutely use them again in the future.”

“Friendly staff that so far has helped me every time I’ve had questions. $10 an hour seems steep to me for an MWR program, but that’s big Navy making the prices. So far they’ve had every tool I’ve needed but haven’t had to do anything too complicated so far.”
