3300 High St, PortsmouthI LOVED IT. My granddog was visiting, and I decided he needed a bath. I called his parents to see where they took him, and Poodle Palace was it. They washed and groomed him for me at the last minute. Just the customer service alone was worth it. My Granddog even seemed to know where he was going and was excited to go. They came and got me from my car when he was ready. How about that for service. I would recommend them.

I was hesitant about leaving our large senior dog there; however, when I came to pick him up he was more upbeat than I’d seen him in a while. The staff took great care of him and ensured his normal home routine was followed. Also, they do not charge extra for your dogs to play with other dogs, as compared to most boarding places.I can’t say enough good things about them, and will be using them for all future boarding needs.

I’m overly anxious when it comes to my dog, Boomer. I had checked out different daycares online for years, only to scare myself into not following through. When we moved to Portsmouth I came across Port Rover and followed them for about 4 months before I finally called to set up his temperament test. What I saw during these 4ish months was a daycare that wasn’t JUST a daycare. They posted all of the fun/extra things they did with the dogs. Things they don’t HAVE to do. Boomer has been attending over a year now and I’m SO happy I took the leap and decided to give them a shot. He loves hearing “daycare” in the morning. He comes bounding off the couch, tail wagging and ready to go. I love Port Rover and all of the staff I’ve met along the way. I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone!

Pound Puppies Pet Sitting
634 McLean St, PortsmouthChristie has been pet sitting for us start of this year on 3 occasions (one being long trip). She does an awesome job keeping our pups safe and ensures their well being. We decided on using a pet sitter instead of boarding because One of my dogs has IVDD and it requires special attention to risk and the other dog being a senior and bad eyesight, my dogs both love being at home. it was hard to trust anyone until Christie helped us. She even cleared our minds when we thought the iron was on lol.

Also, I get my dog boarded there whenever I go out of town because I know she's always happy, well taken care of and safe. I highly recommend T.C. Canines, LLC!

Ordered a 3 meals: 1 curry chicken snack with mac, 1 small curry chicken meal with Mac and green beans, and 1 small jerk with rice and peas and green beans. We arrived later in the day so they were out of a few sides but we enjoyed our meals. They also gave us some chicken soup.
Ordered at the bar and waited for them to call our name. Portion sizes were very generous. My family agreed we would definitely eat here again.

The parking lot was pretty full so i drove around back looking for more parking but ultimately wound up in the drive thru line. Fortunately i was able to back out. What a great asset to me and my older hound, Max's, life. She's a gem! She goes for park walks, rides in the car, she goes camping! And she has brought mine and Max's home to life. He is 15 years old but she has figured out how to play with with him and him with her! Thank you guys for allowing us to adopt her and welcome her into our family! ❤️
