“"New world" elegance in a sterling facility. This hotel venue for an onsite conference did not fall short in a single aspect, from well trained and dilligent staff, to the historic vaulted Tiffany lobby ceilings, to the in room amenity: the nespresso bar, the small office and walk-in dressing closet, the marble floored bathroom suite with soothing soaker tub and walk in shower, closing each day with turndown service with alligator shaped chocolates. One never wants to to check out!

“Super creative concept. Good price point, we came here for brunch on Sunday with a group of 4 at 10:30 reservation. After eating, we didn't have to wait to golf. Tons of fun, the course is really creative and cute. Perfect group activity. As we left though it looked like there was quite a line.”

“I finally got to check out the spa at the Hilton since it finally re-opened and it was so worth the wait. I used to come here when it was open before COVID but they unfortunately closed down. They’re finally open again and I loved it! I went in for a deep tissue massage and left feeling like a brand-new person. The music, lighting, and overall vibe made it so easy to relax and disconnect for a bit. The staff was super attentive and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. You can tell they care about the experience. Im so glad they’re open again and will definitely be coming back regularly like I used to!!!”

I have to give a huge shout out to Alexa! A family member dropped off some gifts for us at the front desk after we had already checked out. Alexa searched through guest records to figure out who the gifts were for, called me to let me know there were items waiting for us, and made sure that everything was stored safely until I could come by to pick them up. “We came to downtown Richmond for a wedding. We picked it out because it was close to the venue. Excellent decision! As soon as we stepped into the lobby, we were greeted by Jason. And he continued to go over and beyond for us until checkout! Friendly, helpful, and great at his job. I hope management knows and acknowledges him for his top-notch customer service! Lastly, the beds were VERY comfortable!

“I stayed here for a conference a few days ago. I checked in after 10pm. The check-in process went smoothly and I want to acknowledge the receptionist staff who were on duty Sunday night (April 14, 2024) for their exceptional service. When I arrived to my room, I began doing inspections and sanitizing. I noticed bodily fluid-like stains on the beds. I normally bring disposable sheets and pillowcases, but of course there wasn’t a better time to forget them lol. Anyway I expressed my concerns with the receptionist, who contacted the custodial supervisor onsite at the time. I want to applaud the supervisor, Mrs. Patricia, who was responsive and rectified the problem by bringing in new sheets (fresh out of the pack) and ensuring the room was up-to-par. Mrs. Patricia also made sure that I was accommodated for the mishap, to which the receptionist staff offered complimentary breakfast (although the conference I attended there provided the same). Nonetheless, my stay was pleasant overall.Rooms: The rooms have an outdated feel, as far as furniture and setup. However, the rooms gave a cozy feel.Nearby activities: There are some really good restaurants within a mile of the hotel. I didn’t walk to them, but the restaurants are in walking distance. There are also historic sites and shopping opportunities to view within walking distance.”

“Our family stayed for a Saturday night in adjoining rooms. We really liked the hotel rooms and the ability to walk to restaurants. The staff were extremely kind and helpful.”
“The hotel is attractive and has a large lounge area. The rooms are comfortable and our king size suite was roomy. The bed was too soft for my liking, but the room was very quiet and obviously well insulated. The floor of the shower was the only area that could have been cleaned better. The desk clerks were generally pleasant, but some spent a lot of time on their phones talking about shopping items. I guess phones are allowed when working?
The location was fantastic for the Short Pump area and sat in a quiet place. We enjoyed the mile sidewalk loop for a morning walk. This is great for dogs, too.”

“This is supposed to be a smoke free property but my room smelled of cigarette smoke. I was only staying for one night so I didn't bring it to the attention of the front desk, had I stayed longer I would. Overall the room clean enough. Hotel and decor is outdated and the light in the bathroom kept going in and out. Overall you could probably get better value for your money elsewhere but if you just need a decent place to sleep, this will do.”

“The size of the room is ok. There are a lot of places to put luggage and other belongings. There are charges for the phone. There is a hot breakfast. I recommend it. Peter and Kelly are very nice and polite.”
“This is a very busy area in the West End of Richmond. Huge Short Pump mall about a mile away.
Lovely decor in the front entrance, with a double-sided fireplace that serves the lobby with a seating area and for the breakfast tables in the morning.
Room is kinda weird with the queen beds separated pretty far from each other and random lamps. But whatever, it works.
They have a full hot breakfast downstairs with scrambled eggs, link sausage, waffle iron setup, bagel warmer, cream cheese, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, milk, coffee, juice, etc.
We will definitely stay here again if we're in the area.”
“Great location and good breakfast! The carpet in the rooms need deep cleaned or updated and showers. There was a big rust stain in the shower. Very uncomfortable trying to shower. Maybe if they remodel a little bit I would stay again. You're really paying for the location. Walk right out to Longhorns and shopping centers and other restaurants ❤️

“We stayed in the hotel for an extended period and found it to be well worth the price, and very clean. It is an older hotel, however it is very well maintained, and the linens, bathroom, and property are clean. Plus, the staff here are extremely pleasant, and very responsive.
If you're looking for a budget motel, this place fits the bill.
