Nell Thorn
116 1st St, La ConnerNell Thorn the great restaurant, is back! As you saw, bad times under new management (2019-2023) but they seem to have finally gotten it ‘back’ to being a fine dining restaurant we frequent AND will take visitors to. \n\nExperienced wait staff that are not hovering or over-sharing about their lives, as you saw in other reviews. Food is back up to par. Bread you pay extra for is to die for. Get some. You won’t regret it. Cocktails and beer-wine selection is top notch. I urge you to try it again if you’re a previous fan who gave up on them after bad experiences. We’re back to being big fans.

Skagit Cellars
106 1st St, La ConnerThe Valentine’s Day dinner is amazing! I understand there is a second Valentine’s Day dinner again this evening. The atmosphere is super friendly. Alisha and Eddie are wine stewards extraordinaire! Chef Deo and his assistant Kramer feature incredible menu items with the superb wines created by the winemaker Mark.

The Firehall Kitchen & Taphouse
402 Morris St, La ConnerWe just did a pick up order so didn't get to experience the entire restaurant. We were greeted right away and able to place a to go order. They have table games you can play when you dine in. We got the kids mac and cheese which is their in house made mac and cheese not the other box stuff some places use for the kids meals. It was a hit with the kiddo. The rest of us got the fish and chips. Batter was not too thick or thin, not fishy, decent coleslaw and good tarter, they were good. I got a zip up sweater it was kind of pricey but seems well made.

La Conner Brewing Co
117 1st St, La ConnerThis is our second year traveling by boat to LaConner and eating here. We loved the food and came back to the BEST Pizza in the PNW! They crispy crust is perfectly seasoned! I had the sausage and mushroom. Awesome! Hubby had the prime rib dip and salad. That was also good. The selection of beer and ciders is great and the service is top shelf!

La Conner Calico Cupboard Café & Bakery
720 1st St, La ConnerAbsolutely amazing. I had low-ish expectations for this small town, but was so surprised! We were seated right away around 10am on a Sunday and got a lovely seat outside with a shady umbrella. They have plenty of vegetarian and gluten free options. Even gluten free pancakes! I ended up getting a smoked salmon scramble and it was amazing! So flavorful and rich. They gave me a gluten free toast with it as well and some lovely jam. They also had a lovely bakery inside with some gluten free options. Our server was wonderful and kind. Super helpful and checked in with us just the right amount. I will totally return next time I am in the area!
