“I have collected Steuben Glass for 50 years. Occasionally chips and deep scratches occur. One of the most valuable of my pieces suffered a major chip at the corner. It is one of a pair, so the chip really affected both pieces. I could not see how this damage could be repaired. I searched the Web for Steuben repair and found Michael Bokrosh's studio. Our conversation gave me great confidence that he would find a solution.He told me exactly how to pack the piece. A few weeks later Michael called to describe his solution, which I didn't completely understand until another few weeks, when the piece arrived. It's hard to describe what he did without a photo, but I was amazed and actually thrilled. He created matching angles that not only removed the chip, but improved the design. Without comparing it to its twin, not even a specialist could tell that it had been repaired. It looks great when placed next to its twin. Michael's work is equal to Steuben's own design and execution. His Studio probably looks a little like Steuben's. I am examining each piece in my collection to find any imperfection, any at all, to send to Michael to make as good as new. One can engage and trust Michael to erase most any flaw in a piece of crystal. He must have spent at least two days on my project. His charge was entirely reasonable. This is my first posting to thank and commend any artist or indeed any person who has done work for me. Thank you for reading this testimonial.”

About 20 minutes later I received the digital copy. I tried to resize it to meet the requirements but it didn't work. I relied the email asking for another version so that I have more room for resizing. They replied in a couple minutes and I got another version that I was able to make work. I really appreciate how responsive and flexible they are.”

“I am updating my review to the Lakemont UPS store after communicating with the store owner Maria on the details of my experience and feedbacks. She is a great small business owner with empathy, ownership, and customer obsession and willing to listen to customers. I would say that my not very pleasant experience turned out to have a happy ending as I think we have a trustworthy UPS store owner to support our neighborhood. Appreciate it.==== The following is my original one-star review===I cannot believe about the horrible experience on my packages during this holiday season at Lakemont UPS shop. I had 2 critical identification document shipped to me on Next day Air and I requested them to be delivered to the Lakemont store for pick-up because I can’t risk the packages to be left at front door. They were shown delivered on 12/26 1:19pm on the tracking so I went to pick them up. A store assistant named Taylor checked the computer and said “we don’t have them, they were not delivered, you need to call the 800 numbers, we are just store not UPS, we don’t know anything”. I asked if he could just check in the back to see just in case. He showed no sign of helping but arrogance and yelling. I was lucky to talk to the UPS driver who delivered my packages right outside the store. He was so nice and helped me go to the store and ask again. Guess what? They found my packages. Even with the fact, Taylor didn’t show any apology of mishandling my packages and providing wrong information. In the meanwhile, I want to thank Eddie who is really helpful and found my packages at the end, also to the UPS driver who stepped for me and ask/check the store again.”

Dustin at the Fedex print shop near University Village (Laurelhurst) was professional, helpful and responsive. The turnaround time was very quick. He provided guidance on what finish to do based on my needs. While the competitors hesitated to guarantee it ground and urged us to ship it freight for more than $700, Ed was confident in his ability to pack and ship it safely via ground. He was reassuring to an anxious customer, and even offered his card in case we had any problems when the item arrived. It was packed and shipped for even less than he quoted, $226!
