They identified the leak in a couple hours and had the part ordered even before I agreed to move forward, which I appreciated. “All right I'm a bonehead. I backed around the corner from the garage on my property and forgot that I parked my Nissan leaf around the corner. So I inadvertently nudged the driver side door inward, and something went wrong. The linkage between the door handle function and my ability to get in and out of the car came to a halt.
I had an appointment with McCue's Repair to look at the car and to derive me an estimate of how much it will cost to get fixed. There is a cost for the estimate and the estimate cost gets added to the credit for the bill so that, when you bring work to this shop, your initial investment in Discovery of what the problem really is becomes part of your added income paying for the work in a typical situation.
However, when I brought the car in on 23 March 2026, and they managed to get the door opened and managed to open the inside guts to see what was wrong, they couldn't get the linkage to test, so they pounded out the dent in the door so that the linkage would work, and it did. They fixed the problem during the estimate generating visit, and they let me just go with that. So my total expenditure was just the cost of the estimate. Here I am, 2 months later, and I've still not had any problems at all with the door. Seriously they fixed it the first time they saw it. Just fantastic work. Prompt, courteous, and very helpful.

“Hands down 5 stars to these guys. My thermometer was jacked up and it had a hole in the tube which resulted in spraying antifreeze all over my engine. Shane took me outside and showed me what had happened. I left my car at 10:30 or so and they called me at 2:00 saying they were done. Very fast and honest people and I would recommend them to anyone.
