The vet techs and vets are all great with the animals and are very knowledgeable and good communicators. They are accommodating of my needs and always willing to do appts in their back room with its own entry to be able to skip waiting in and traveling thru the waiting room and rest of clinic. This is helpful for me and for my more dog-reactive ACD.

She was Very safety-conscious but also flexible and creative, finding ways to help over FaceTime, texted videos, in person from a distance, and in distanced outdoor class. She was always supportive and never talked down to me. I’ve been through dog training before, but Cayce’s very verbal approach was new to me. Plus it’s been 15 years and you forget all the details of puppyhood. I highly recommend her.

Nashi Orchards Tasting Room
16906 107th Ave SW, VashonThis is an amazing place to visit, especially if you have children or dogs! The location is beautiful, with wide-open spaces for kids to run and play. You can walk through the orchard, play a game of corn hole by the large fire pit, and even pet the friendly sheep.
The tasting flight is a great deal for $15, giving you a chance to sample their famous and award-winning ciders and perries. The tasting room itself is gorgeous with a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. A huge plus for us is that everything is naturally gluten-free, so it was a perfect and safe treat for my wife! We'll definitely be back.

19529 Vashon Hwy SW #6029, VashonI worked at Starbucks coffee manufacturing for 6 years. I am a sensory trained panelist and a coffee master. I have had, quite a bit of coffee. That being said, this was the best vanilla iced latte I've ever had. I stumbled into this place when I was on the island for my daughter's volleyball game. Desperately needed a cup of coffee. The staff is incredible. They told me all about the history of the building. Where they get their beans from. Things they do for the public. The whole place is just welcoming and smells incredible because they roast in house. Definitely worth the trip to go see them.

I knew there was tofu scramble based off other Happy Cow reviews but it wasn’t on the daily menu. If something vegan isn’t there, go ahead and ask the staff and the kitchen will make something special for you. They made me a nice tofu scramble that was filled with spices, salsa, greens, and pumpkin. They even added vegan cheese. Updated from previous review on 2025-12-15

Camp Colvos Brewing
17636 Vashon Hwy SW, VashonChill vibes on a friday afternoon! Kid friendly which was great! We had a few different beers, pizzas, and the pretzel and all were delicious! Walked around the nearby shops afterwards. Made for a great afternoon, highly recommend!
