“This place is excellent, I will not be taking a vehicle anywhere else for work, completely honest and upfront. They've saved me a ton of money by not doing work that was not necessary, but they could have just said it needed it and charged me for it. If they say it needs something it needs it! There not going to steer you wrong. I completely trust what they say which is very rare these days! Last time my wife's van was in he told me Kia had a service bulletin for a oil leak. Arranged service with Kia took it to there himself to the dealership, then picked it up himself and brought it back. NOW THAT'S SERVICE!”

“I can’t say enough good things about Ted and his team at Wright Automotive. I’ve been bringing my 2014 Subaru to them for years, and although my Subaru has certainly required its share of work over the years, Ted and his team have kept it running in great shape.
What I appreciate most about Wright Automotive is how honest and straightforward they are. Ted actually takes the time to explain what’s going on with your vehicle, what needs to be fixed now, and what can wait. I’ve never felt like I was being talked into repairs I didn’t need, which is something I really value.

“Brought a head in due to a broken valve.
The owner at Dawson Motors gave me some very helpful advice on parts of what I was looking to get done, which resulted in a much easier reassembly at home for myself!
They did a fantastic job on the head. Valve job and the carbon removal turned out amazing. They even cleaned all the gasket mating surfaces and informed me that they didn't need to be decked as they were already straight!
The price for the work was very reasonable, and even came out cheaper than I was quoted. The turnaround time for getting it done was very quick despite the shop being busy as well!
Overall very happy with the work they did for me, and I'll definitely return again in the future!”
“Took my 2014 Outback in for service. Was having some noise coming from the front drivers side, and it seemed to increase as i accelerated. It was especially noticeable when i was just pulling out turning left. Turns out my axle was shot and upon further inspection my right front axle also needed replacement. As well, my front brakes were also in need of replacing. When i picked up my car Wil and I went into the shop. He showed me the old axles and I could clearly see the worn and cracked boots on the ends of the axles and you could see where all the grease had run out. During the two days my car was in the shop i had excellent communication from Wil and was kept informed about parts and the timing of delivery, etc.. It was like a new car when i drove away, a very satisfied customer. They were very reasonable in the costs associated with the service I received. Will return in the future for any issues and will recommend this business to my family and friends.”

“My sister in law got an absurdly high quote from a franchise mechanic shop, so after seeing all the good things people have to say about MHA, we decided to give it a try, and it was the best decision we could have made.
Sal was very honest about what actually needed to be done, and even brought us into the shop to show us where his observation is coming from. He was even able to fix a screeching noise coming from the front end within seconds - any other place would take a full day and hundreds of dollars.

“Every time I took my vehicle to the DEALERSHIP, my oil change was free, but I still ended up paying $200-$300 for extra maintenance. The last straw was when the Dealership said they didn’t have to follow the Alberta law, which prohibits unnecessary work, because the service agreement was with them, not the manufacturer. They wanted me to have work done, that wasn’t even recommended for my vehicle. Then they told me it would cost $500 to replace the air cabin filter.
I asked for recommendations for a mechanic on the Next Door Neighbour website. Several different people recommended Access Auto, and said they have been going there for 10+ years. I am so glad I listened. Rob and Gina are amazing. I have been taking my vehicle to Access Auto for several years, and I now recommend them to others. It is so very refreshing and reassuring to have an honest mechanic. After I was involved in a significant car accident, Rob helped me fight my insurance company to get the proper mechanical AC repairs. He NEVER does any mansplaining, and is always willing to show you the parts from your vehicle, so you can see the exact damage. A picture says a thousand words, you can truly understand the associated costs when you see your vehicle missing the entire front dash, steering wheel, front seats and console. It was not a small job to remove the entire front interior of my vehicle to replace a heater core.
Rob, tells you what your vehicle needs… and why you need it. I don’t mind paying for something extra, if there is justification for it. I never feel judged or pressured into any maintenance or repairs. All of their staff are great. Miguel works at the front desk, and is super friendly and easy to talk to.”
