“I stayed here for the first time in December on a business trip, my first time traveling solo. I was super nervous, but Canopy made everything so easy! I felt comfortable and safe, the front desk was helpful, the food was yummy, and even when we had a little mix up with a receipt they were so accommodating and nice! I definitely would stay again and recommend them if staying in Tempe! Also the Insomnia Cookies right next door is definitely a bonus! ?”

“The Hampton Inn in Tempe Airport was a godsend! My flight was canceled for the night and I had already returned my rental car. The free shuttle picked me up promptly and the ride to the hotel was like 5 minutes. The check-in was easy and friendly. The little market was well stocked with reasonable prices. My room was super clean, comfortable and had a great big desk for me to work at or use as a table to dine at. Breakfast was free and had a lot of options. The staff was kind and professional when someone tried to sneak in and eat without being a guest there. All in all I felt safe and well taken care of in the midst of a less than ideal situation. Hampton Inn Tempe Airport is my go-to on my trips to Phoenix from now on. Thank you!”

“My recent stay at the Motel 6 Scottsdale South has been nothing short of a sanctuary during an incredibly difficult week, and I cannot commend the front desk manager asinet,Ruby and the entire staff enough for their exceptional kindness and professionalism.

This past week has presented me with immense challenges. On top of dealing with a horrific and sudden death in my family, my home's air conditioning broke down amidst scorching 110-degree weather, forcing me to seek immediate accommodations. The stress has been immense, but from the moment I arrived four days ago, the front desk manager and the entire team at this Motel 6 have done everything in their power to ease my burden.

Their helpfulness and compassion have truly gone above and beyond any guest standards. They showed genuine empathy for my situation, ensuring my room was comfortable and that I had everything I needed without me even having to ask. They created an atmosphere where I felt supported and cared for, rather than adding to my stress. It's rare to encounter such understanding and dedication, especially during such trying times, and it made an immeasurable difference to my well-being.

Beyond the incredible staff, I've been so impressed by the cleanliness of the facility. Every area, from the lobby to my room, has been impeccably maintained, which speaks volumes about their commitment to guest comfort. The amenities have also been fully functional and well-kept. The laundry facilities were clean and efficient, a small but significant convenience. And even amidst my personal turmoil, the pool was a pristine and inviting oasis, offering a brief moment of respite.

The collective efforts of the compassionate front desk manager and the entire staff, coupled with the remarkably clean and well-maintained property, have transformed a challenging period into a more manageable one. I am profoundly grateful for their support and highly recommend the Motel 6 Scottsdale South to anyone seeking not just a clean and comfortable place to stay, but a truly caring environment.”

“Excellent stay! Super clean! Looked brand new. Slept so good! We arrived on superbowl Sunday and caught the score in the lobby. Almost felt like home away from home. Very nice employees. Very cute area in downtown Tempe and not far. Would easily stay here again. Even had oat milk as an option at breakfast along with 4 different egg choices”

“I stayed here twice in the last week when flying in and out of Phoenix. The hotel is clean, staff was friendly, and everything worked as it should. Water pressure in the shower isn't the best but is also pretty typical for any hotel these days. Workout room is nice and all the machines work. Very convenient location if you are staying the night after a late arriving flight or staying the night before an early flight out the next morning.”

“Enjoyed my stay at the Aloft Tempe. The location is extremely convenient, with easy access to highways, ASU, and nearby amenities. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. My room was very clean and well-appointed. Nice cozy lobby, bar, outdoor area, and pool. Convenience store has a wide variety of snacks, beverages, meals, and other essentials for purchase 24/7. There is a bit of noise from the neighboring highway and planes overhead, but it didn't bother me overnight and the hotel provides earplugs if you need them.The one minor disappointment during my stay was the non-functional electric vehicle charging station. All of the Tesla and non-Tesla EV chargers were in poor condition, with busted connectors and wires sticking out (safety hazard?). At least one of the Tesla chargers worked, but the only J1772 charger had a fault. I contacted the charging company listed on the station, who told me that the chargers are owned by the property and the hotel is responsible for arranging maintenance.”

“Rooms 3.5 - small door & small bathroom (toilet & shower)Service 5 - CSR Hetvi, Victor, Tiffany, Gabriella, Allison and the cleaning lady (Adriana) on the third floor were top notch CSR. Customer Service is everything in business and these ladies nailed it. As a tourist I asked them questions about things to do and they took the time to answer and showed zero signs of being annoyed or bothered. The cleaning lady always smiled and was very cheerful when I interacted with her (take my trash, give me extra towels). I think managers need to know that employees like these and customers that have a good experience should take the time to say something good about the service they received.Location 5 - Right around the corner or down the street is quite a bit to do and enjoy. The Tempe Campus is very close by and if you visit for any games this is a good location (very close to expressway). In n Out burgers is right across the street but they're always crowded with the young crowd so be ready to be in a long line. The restaurant across the parking lot from In n Out and the restaurant next doors to the hotel is a good food option. There's a park with a river and a place to walk your pooch. If you like jogging that's a good place to run too.Overall I give it a 4 and my only complaint is the small bathroom. Other HI hotels don't have that set up”

The lower star is for not the cleaning staff not checking the cleanliness under the bed. It's one of the things I look at when I am looking for any of my remaining items when I go to leave. It makes me feel like other areas at the hotel/room could also be neglected. But otherwise great experience.”

“It is now Monday, December 30th, exactly one week after my son checked out of Hotel. My credit card notified me that I was charged an additional service charge for security deposit that was originally refunded to me when he left, as he cleaned up the room before leaving. I called the Hotel and spoke to Mavi on the phone, and she claimed the cleaning staff accused my son of smoking in the room and discolored one of their towels, so they charged it back! My son doesn't smoke and when I asked him about it, he then shared that in his stay of 26 days, they never cleaned the room and he had to ask for toilet paper, and they only made the bed once. He also wanted me to add that they have no laundry facilities for guests to use. I was not aware of any of this when I first wrote my review. I have disputed the $75 charge with my credit card company and my credit card company heard the whole conversation over the phone, with Mavi and me. I was actually going to plan my stay here, later in January, but not now. This is not good service at all!”

“I was super impressed with this hotel. I got the room on a discount this morning. Called and was able to get an early check in at no additional fee.
Walked in and was caught off guard by the lovely bar, pool table, arcade games etc. The girl working was so lovely and had a smile on her face the entire time. I got a free drink for being new and we just BSed for a few.
The room was huge. It was a little dark once the blinds were closed, but it was fine. I had hot water and the room was super clean.

“Had to get outta my apartment for several hrs. While maintenance fixed some stuff. This place was an awesome find. The receptionist evian ( im probably butchering her name) was very kind and friendly. Will definitely be back.”

“I suggest using the Marriott Bonvoy app like I've been for the past year, I get a better rate booking direct through the app than I get using booking.com. Customer service is always amazing as well. Very accommodating.”

“We stayed here to catch an early flight outta Phx Sky Harbor. Rooms were clean, bed was decent, hot water in shower, area was quiet and parking here was easy.
Only bad thing was when leaving at 4am, there was a homeless guy with his backpack attempting to make a bed under the stairs in the hallway. Kinda creepy. We did notify the front desk.”

“Large spacious room but the bed was not very comfortable...not a lot of cushion and very soft and thin. Free breakfast was average. Pool looked spectacular, but the layout doesn't get any sun in the morning so it was too cold to be poolside during the winter. Housekeeping is done every other day. The fitness center is large and well equipped.”

“I can't say enough good things about this place. Clean lobby.. Clean hallways.. Clean rooms. They do allow pets and the place doesn't smell like pets. Lobby and hallways are fresh smelling. They have a pool and a hot tub and barbecue for guests to use everyday. They're perfectly located in Tempe around plenty of stores restaurants and anything that you would need.”

“We stayed here in April of 2023 for about a week. The room was clean. Security guard was polite, friendly and armed to the teeth which I liked even though I thought it was funny. We didn't have any issues with noise or troubled people. We enjoyed staying there.”

“Roberta at the front desk was phenomenal ?. She was able to accommodate a last minute room change and informed us that on-site parking was available while I would be out of town for $8 a day. I had already scheduled parking near the airport and the price leveled out the same. I proceeded to cancel the other reservation and made parking arrangements at the hotel. Unfortunately, I was not fully informed until after the fact that I would need to catch a ride share back to the hotel to pick up my vehicle, which resulted in paying over $20 and much frustration getting picked up, since the Lyft driver did not pull up in the designated area. 5 stars ? would have been given if I had been fully informed.”

“I don't normally leave reviews on hotels, but my stay here I feel warrants one. I was very pleasantly surprised by room 821. The room look like it had been recently remodeled and a quite pleasant interior, with a full kitchen. It felt clean when I entered the room (carpet and all). The surrounding area felt safe. The bed was super comfortable. The curtains kept the room nice and dark after the sun came up, letting me sleep in. This would be a great place for an extended stay.

It certainly wasn't perfect, but I normally stay in a Holiday Inn Express or LA Quinta, and this room far exceeded those typical rooms. The overall room (design and furnishings) felt more like a Marriott but with a kitchen.

The sheets and towels were clean, and I liked the hand wash, body lotion, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner provided.

The ONLY negatives I'd point out are in the bathroom, and I'm being picky here. The toilet seat wiggled a little, the door frame had a couple chips in the paint near the floor, one light switch plate had a broken corner, and the carpet leading to it (which was otherwise clean and nice) frayed at the doorway.

I arrived late in the evening and the girl behind the counter was pleasant and efficient.

The breakfast was nice as well, with scrambled eggs, sausage, a made-to-order pancake machine, cereal, bagels, muffins, coffee, juice, and more.”

Amy checked me in and recommended a few places to grab a bite to eat and also gave me a room with the AC already ON and it felt so good!
Room decor and smell was pleasant. Grabbed a To-Go breakfast on my way out.
