I would like to highlight the outstanding service provided by Jamie at the Bosley location in Port Coquitlam.
During my visit, my husband accidentally dropped a container of salmon oil while our dog was very excited about the treats. I became extremely nervous, not only about the mess, but mainly about the safety of other pets who could potentially slip or get hurt.
Jamie immediately noticed how anxious I was and handled the situation with remarkable calm, kindness, and professionalism. She went far beyond what is expected, reassuring me, taking care of everything promptly, and making sure the environment was safe.
Her empathy and awareness made a stressful moment feel completely manageable. Experiences like this are what truly differentiate a great store from an average one.
We absolutely love this store and the entire staff. Jamie represents the very best of customer service.
10/10, or better yet, 1,000,000/10. Highly recommended.

The aquatic plants are lush, roots are in beautiful shape and I appreciate the snail free plant dedicated tank. Always a different variety every time I come in. Staff are friendly. Best shop in the area for aquatic plants. I love the aquatic section at this store without having to drive out of town to a specialized store

1097 Nicola Ave, Port CoquitlamI have been shopping here for aquarium supplies and fish for the last few weeks as I am cycling a new tank and I have had nothing but great experiences each visit! There are a good selection of fish and the tanks are all very clean. The fish I’ve purchased here have been very healthy. Most importantly the staff are SO knowledgeable, two employees especially Anna and (I think his name was Jacob) knew a surprising amount about each fish and gave me such good advice on which fish will be good together in a common tank, each fish’s temperament and specific needs. Anna gave me great tips on tank cycling and equipment too. Will definitely keep shopping here!

Deb made sure Powder was comfortable during her first visit! Very gentle and personable even gave me lots of tips to make sure my puppy is well maintained. 1780 McLean Ave, Port CoquitlamMy timid toy poodle, Wyatt, had his puppy grooming at Poco Pet Pawlor, and I couldn’t be happier with the care he received. He was very nervous, but the owner and staff were so patient and gentle with him — giving him breaks and even bathing him again after he had a little accident from nerves. Wyatt had a few matts from swimming all summer and a very long coat, but they groomed him beautifully and trimmed his nails perfectly. His coat looks amazing, and it’s so much easier for me to brush him now. I’m really grateful for their kindness and professionalism!

331 Laurier Ave, Port CoquitlamTo say my Labradoodle is the light of my life is an understatement. Jet is a beautiful, resilient ball of energy — equal parts opinionated and emotional. Grooms used to make her so sad that she’d literally hide and sulk in the corner for days afterward. It broke my heart to see my usually vibrant, people-loving dog so deflated.
That all changed when we found Sam and the incredible team at Good Dog. They treat Jet with such genuine care, respect, and dignity that her tail now wags in anticipation of a groom!
Last year, after Jet underwent two TPLO surgeries, her grooming needs became especially sensitive. Sam’s team handled her with extraordinary patience and compassion, helping us feel supported and confident as her pet parents. When Sam transitioned to a new role, she even took the time to personally introduce us to Kara — thoughtfully matching Jet with someone who would suit her personality and needs perfectly.
Kara has been every bit as wonderful. Jet continues to look gorgeous and truly thrives under the care of Sam, Kara, and the entire Good Dog family. We’ve been coming here for eight years for both grooms and daycare, and honestly, we can’t imagine going anywhere else.

I love it and order it every time. The service is good and there's plenty of car parking for both the pub and brewery. The ambience is also good with a family side restaurant and bar side for the tvs.
