I loved the deli section where I could get some delicious home made soups and sandwiches for a quick but healthy and tasty meal. Either take home for dinner or even to take to work for lunch.However, the store will be closing its doors for good sometime in the next month or two. Already the shelves are nearly bare, there's only a few essentials left. I'm really going to miss shopping there.”

“I recently switched to PriceSmart from the Richmond Costco Pharmacy after being at Costco from the time that they first opened their pharmacy section. They were good in the early days, but their service completely plummeted in recent years, and I finally had enough of Costco’s abysmal treatment and unreliability. I made the switch to PriceSmart after doing a lot of research, and personally visiting about 10 different local pharmacies to make my assessments of where I wanted to do business.The Richmond (Ackroyd Road) PriceSmart Pharmacy is absolutely wonderful. Their dispensing fees are competitive, and their staff have thus far, after 3 months, been wonderful to deal with. There is rarely a wait of more than a couple of minutes, and almost never a line up, and I truly feel like a valued customer when I go there. I’ve never waited for my prescription after placing my order on their online renewal system, and I feel like this is the type of pharmacy where you can have an actual relationship with the people who are serving you. My only frustration is that I put up with Costco for as long as I did - they are beyond redemption. PriceSmart is wonderful and I could not be happier that I finally found a pharmacy that cares about people. Great work PriceSmart!”

“The deli at this location has a kind and helpful worker named Aidan. He was able to help me and answer my questions politely and professionally. I would have given 5 stars for Aidan's service alone. The only reason for taking off a star was because of a different deli worker. I asked her for help because she was the one standing right in front of the food (while Aidan was far away washing dishes and could not possibly have seen me standing there). She didn't respond to me at all, just yelled at him twice in a very rude manner. I didn't see her name tag but if management sees this, I would recommend evaluating how your employees are being treated.”
