“Wonderful people with an amazing selection of acoustic pianos and a curated selection of digital pianos.
They let me poke all the pianos i wanted and only offered as much help as I asked for. In the end they guided me to a Roland digital piano. I went home and after a 2 day youtube deep dive followed by a trip to a competitor who had all the keyboards, I returned to buy the piano the staff here recommended in the first place.
As a bonus, you can peek in to the workshop and watch the master craftsmen at work. Its amazing!
Some day i will return here to buy a real life, wood and strings, acoustic piano... after I have practiced some more on the quiet electric one.”

“These folks were incredible. Tested & troubleshot my record player that I was having trouble with to get it working again. Jacob was thorough & amazing. 10/10.”
“EidS TV is truly exceptional. The owner went above and beyond to help me troubleshoot an issue with my TV—even after I told him I planned to handle the repair myself. He was incredibly generous with his time, offering to have his technicians review photos and videos I sent, and thanks to his guidance, I was able to pinpoint the issue and figure out the best next steps.
What really impressed me was how helpful, kind, and responsive he was, even knowing I might not use their services this time around. That kind of integrity and support is rare. EidS TV has absolutely earned my trust and respect—if I ever need electronics repaired in the future, this is the only place I’ll go. Highly recommend!”
“Had a great experience with some really kind and helpful reps at this location, who went out of their way to help me out on multiple occasions. Really appreciate Theresa in particular for being incredibly patient and competent managing a complicated account setup for me over a couple hours, and answering all of our questions.”
“Easy and convenient. Walking distance from UCB and across the street from the BART.It was awkward to see security patrol around and at cash, but just do your own thing.”
“Tl;dr - I'm only writing this review because Target needs more staff if they are going to maintain half the aisles under lockdown. Otherwise, it's going to become not worth shopping here.I shop here frequently because I live in the neighborhood. It is well stocked for its size and it's great for families in terms of the kid aisles and general household, personal care items. The staff are typically very helpful and nice. I understand why they've put so many aisles behind locked cases, but they need more staffing. It's impossible to shop quickly in this store anymore, rendering its former "convenience" for less so. It takes 10 minutes and upwards to get something basic like toothpaste unlocked. The only solution is adding more staff if the locked aisles are staying in place.”
“Cricket Wireless is the discount version of AT&T. They even gave me a new phone in preparation of the 5G switch. The woman at the Downtown Berkeley store was really good at handling the switch to the new phone -- it took just about 20-30 minutes. Her name is Tina. I LOVE having a store in downtown -- and I strongly recommend Cricket (Discount AT&T) to students, older people, or anyone who likes a bargain! Each time I have needed help, this Berkeley store has been perfect. THANK YOU!!”
“Lovely and helpful staffs. I did huge shopping from her and as a tourist who visited the USA for the first time I didn't have much idea and features such as price match and all, but the staffs of this store explained everything to me in a detailed manner.”
“Pat (I believe this is her name, usually working the register) is incredible. She deserves a raise and a promotion. She is always handling things, very kind, and makes everyone feel heard. Bravo to her!!”
“Amazing service. I was trading-in MacBook and iPhone for Air I bought 2 weeks ago in Boston. He solved a problem that Boston was helpless with. Damien was incredibly swift and helpful and gave me some good Mac tips when I asked.”

“After being ripped off at the 7-11 on solano i went to the one on university. The guy working was great. I had no issues at all. He had a few customers and took care of everyone and myself quickly and efficiently. He was friendly and respectful. What a difference from the other 7-11. I am going there again tonight. He needs to train the other worker at the other 7-11. One thing is the guy working informed me they are actually closed from 11:30pm to 5 am. They clean the store during that time. So they are not open 24/7. The local gas stations will get you stuff if you ask the guy behind the glass.”
“I had an excellent visit with Jessica at Verizon’s 2209 Shattuck store in Berkeley, CA. I am 81 and a little light on tech skills and somehow cut off my Verizon internet access. Jessica not only reestablished my internet connection (invaluable, as I am traveling), but showed me how to clear the dozens and dozens of open tabs wearing my battery down. Made my day!”
