Men's, women's and kid's clothing, shoes and accessories are available at this Columbia Employee store, which is also available to the public WITH A PASS. We get the pass through my employer or at the Prana Carlsbad Outlet store. (Just ask when you make a purchase). If you're a senior you can go on Tuesdays or the military has access year round with proof of affiliation.

BRANDS AVAILABLE
Brands that are on offer are: Columbia, Mountain Hardwear, prAna, and SOREL. Items offered are anything from women's workout wear to fleece jackets, puffer jackets, jeans, hiking/travel pants, shirts, vests, T-shirts, beanie hats, socks, blankets, yoga mats and more.

LOCATION
The store is located in a business park setting with free parking. They're open 10am-7pm every day of the week.

CHECK-IN FIRST
You first check-in with the front desk where they will check your pass and then you're free to wander the store which is a large warehouse type setting. Fitting rooms are available to try things on. Restrooms are located at the front near check-in.

REDUCED PRICES, BUT NOT DIRT CHEAP
We've typically been going a few times a year over the last 5 years or so. It's hit and miss -- sometimes we spend a few hundred and other times walk out with nothing. Size selections vary. Stock does change, but I also see the same staples there all the time. The merchandise is discounted, but is still pricey due to the fact the brands on offer are pricey brands to begin with. (i.e. these are not TJMaxx kind of prices!)

WHO SHOULD GO?
If you're into the outdoors, camping, hiking, traveling, working out and you can get your hands on a pass (or go Senior Tuesdays or are in the military) check this store out!

I had such a wonderful experience at Aerie! I came in for the bra trade-in event (donate any bra and get any bra for $25), and the associates were truly amazing. Every single employee was so sweet, patient, and genuinely helpful from the moment I walked in.

One associate took the time to measure me properly and — turns out — I’ve been wearing the wrong bra size my entire life. She explained everything kindly and made me feel comfortable the whole time. My correct size wasn’t available in the store, but instead of rushing me or brushing it off, they offered to order it for me with free shipping, which I really appreciated.

“Kudos to Callaway golf warranty department and in particular, Ryan in the Carlsbad California office. I had an issue with a Paradym 3 wood and went to PGA store where I bought it. They didn't inform me that it was possibly covered under the Callaway warranty. Luckily I called Callaway and reached one of the warrant department guys, Ryan. I told him what had happened and he walked me through the process and assured me I would have a new club in my hand shortly. I recieved my new Callaway 3 wood within about 10 days. I had played with another top brand of clubs for 20 years, but about 6 years ago made the switch to all Callaway clubs. Not only is their product line awesome, but now after having such an easy experience with a warranty issue, and having Callaway come through with flying colors so seamlessly, it makes me want to never leave them!
