“Fantastic experience with Sam. My wife ran over her iPhone and cracked the case. I called him first and Sam said it would take 15 min and the price was about $120 service included. He warned me the screen would be slightly different in color than the original, and offered a higher model for a higher price. It’s an older phone so I said no. I dropped off the phone and shopped for about 13 min and came back and he was already done. That was about 6 months ago and the screen is still working great. My wife did notice the slight difference in color (I couldn’t tell but I’m sure if it was my phone I would), but she has no complaints. I had a great experience and would definitely come back if I ever needed more iPhone help.”

“Thought I needed a new phone since it wasn't charging. Went to the Verizon store in Huntington Beach. Adrian the sales representative asked to exam the charger receptacle on phone. I said "OK, but I've tried it with multiple brand new charging blocks and cables without success". He plugged the phone into the charger located at the counter and the phone started charging ! I said "That's not possible!!!" Turns out that the low cost after market wall charge cables apparently do not exert the same about of pressure on the phone charger receptacle contacts as the higher end charging models sold in Verizon stores. Or the amount of gold on contacts is not enough to maintain a good circuit connection with a worn down phone receptacle ( The Samsung phone is over 6 years old. Hey, before you laugh, I'm 68 so give me a break LOL). The in store price for cable and wall charger block cost $39, which was expensive compared to the inexpensive 2 pack that cost $13 with free next day shipping on Amazon. Obviously there is a reason for the price difference: Manufacturing quality. Adrian could have easily not inserted counter charging cable all the way without me knowing and I would have no doubt bought a new phone. Adrianclearly demonstrated his honesty and integrity, which unfortunately is something you don't always experience from salespersons, especially if commissions or sales performance levels are involved. Even more so if the customer is a senior citizen. Adrian made my experience in a Verizon store, the best in over 20 years as a Verizon customer. Great job Adrian!”

“I had a problem with accessing voicemail on my iphone and had called Apple to ask for help, when they told me it was a "carrier problem", and I should either go to an AT&T store, or call 611. I decided to go to the AT&T store across the street from me, on Adams Avenue in Huntington Beach, where I had originally procured my iphone. I hadn't been there in years, so it was a new trial for me there, and I was very disappointed. I recall when I first went there, years ago, the person who I dealt with displayed incompetence, as when he attempted to transfer all of my phone contacts from my old flip-phone to the iphone (at that time, an iphone 7), something went wrong and many of my contacts were lost. But that was years ago, as I stated. This time, when I went to the Adams Avenue location, it was a Monday, around 12:30 PM, so I figured they'd be a bit busy. I went in and was told by a young lady that I would be taken care of after they were through with another customer, and one waiting. I sat around waiting for my turn, and it took so long I decided to leave and go next door for some pancakes, and return. When I returned, there were still just a single customer waiting, and one being taken care of. I sat down again, waiting my turn. It took quite a while, and finally, I decided to leave rather than continue wasting time. I went out to the car and looked up the AT&T stores on Yelp. I found that every store in my area had only gotten 3 stars out of 5, and that the main complaint was that people felt they weren't getting adequate attention. I felt the same way, so I began to look for a store with a higher rating. One came up, which was the location on Newhope, nearby, across from the local Costco. That location got 4 stars, and many 5 star reviews. I decided to drive there. I was not disappointed. It's a smaller store, with fewer customers since the location is a bit hidden. When I arrived, Jerry immediately approached me and offered his assistance, calling me "boss". (I actually hate that term, though his intentions were good). I explained my problem with voicemail, and he quickly stepped me through some things, including setting up a password. I was in and out in around ten minutes, and felt as if I'd discovered a hidden gem. This location is definitely the best of all those in my area. Newhope AT&T rocks!”

“Very helpful and knowledgeable! We had an issue with an online order and Long and the team were very kind to help us out. Highly recommend this shop. Buying/changing/whatever cell phones/plans/companies is like visit a car lot, mostly an unbearably frustrating and annoying process. While my mind hasn’t been changed about the company at large, Long and the team at this particular store are very helpful and i would definitely recommend going here, especially if you hate cell phone stores like i do. That’s why we tried to process our order online in the first place, but it’s always better to talk with someone and have them help you our right when you need it.”

This guy handled my requests in store with a speed and accuracy that I have not experienced from ATT in the last 9 years I've been dealing with them. After getting help from Enock, I can now say I will probably never call ATT for anything and just go to this store for help. What has been 1.5-2 hours in the past, he did in less than 30 minutes (and that's cause he had to call in himself for approvals).Google reviews should have a 6 star option for people like him.”

He was patient and kind and eventually after trying 5 times I finally have a phone. Must wear a mask and it is a crusty corner and the actual shop is pretty plain.
