“Here is my story.
I had 2 small Amazon returns (but only one in the original UPS box). The overworked (and grouchy) UPS store owner on Hollenbeck refused the one without the original UPS box, and mentioned they don't get compensated on this (as if I care).
Then the Postal Annex (at Homestead) put that remaining small package in a UPS envelope, smiled and shipped without a problem (and I know they don't get compensated either).
What a difference in attitude and in the service.

“Flawless service! I’ve been visiting their store at 1346 The Alameda for the past four years. They are diligent, polite, and helpful with returns, photographs, notarization, PO Box, printouts, shipment, and supplies. The store is well-staffed, ensuring speedy task completion, and they have self-help kiosks for returns. I definitely recommend it!”

“This location offers the latest and most extended hours in the South Bay! A quaint postal outlet that features a one-stop convenience for a variety of mailing services. Great rates on private mailbox rental services, especially for the Sunnyvale area. Specializes in international shipping and receiving. This is truly an old fashioned, independent and heart felt "mom and pops" shop. So don't expect the polished glamour of the faceless corporation style commercial business; and you won't find 3 clueless kids pretending to be working there who can't answer any basic logical questions. (But also be a grownup, and don't be in a huge rush during prime hours, nor be offended by old world price haggling either.)I personally rather do business with independently owned and operated outlets, as I've had enough of the callous faceless corporations lately.”

The owners of my local UPS store focus on customer service and their staff shows this philosophy - and that makes a difference. So if you are considering a mailbox service, be aware that not all UPS stores are managed equally, and if you are in Santa Clara County I highly recommend checking The UPS Store at 181 East Tasman in San Jose.”

“This is a review for dropping off a package for FedEx pickup—it's a fast convenient location and the staff is friendly. If you are looking for a local FedEx drop off location use this instead of the one located at the San Antonio Shopping center.”
“Satish was the friendliest and kindest person I've ever met at a postal office! Most other post office employees I've met are kinda grouchy and tired (which I totally understand), but Satish seems to never run out of patience.

“It's not often that I will go out of my way to write a review, much less for a UPS store, but yet the service here in the short time I was here left me such an impression. Run more like a mom & pop shop (in the best way possible), I was seen, advised, and taken care of within the few minutes I arrived. Hai (I hope I'm remembering your name right) went out of his way to ensure my package was taken care of.
While the best UPS store is the one open and closest, I'd urge you to consider this store if you're considering at all the service you want to receive. I consider myself lucky to have this one be both.”
“Brenton went above and beyond to help me and my elderly father print out a form for the DMV so my mom could get her disabled persons placard. We were having issues with the PDF not printing correctly, and Brenton came over and had us sorted and on our way in less than five minutes. That kind of know-how and excellent customer service is very uncommon these days. Please accept my compliments for the exceptional experience at your store. I was really stressed out when I arrived and Brenton definitely turned my frown upside down by the time we left.
