The staff gave me the grand tour of the pet wash like I was some kind of dog-washing rookie (which, let’s be real, I am), and showed me how to bribe my dog into climbing the stairs to the tub. They handed me an apron, because they clearly knew my dog likes to bathe me too! and even gave him a plastic collar to keep his ‘real’ one dry. They told me to just leave the mess behind. I felt like a monster for even thinking about it, but they were so nice I caved and left everything, like a guilty criminal sneaking away from the scene.
Then they showered my dog with so many treats that he walked out a pound heavier, practically waddling. To top it all off, they gave me a free token for buying three, like I needed more reasons to come back. And the little girl with chestnut eyes in corduroy pants? Total pro and probably the brains behind that pet wash. It was the most luxurious dog bath experience ever, though I’m pretty sure I still owe them an apology for the mess I didn’t clean up! Rockie says thanks too!

Feldspar Pet Spa
1260 Lake Blvd #118, DavisI have a nonprofit rescue. Picked up a dog that was severely matted. She was horrible. Stopped by Feldspar on my way home to see if i could get her in. They took one look at her and asked one of the groomers if she could take on one more. She said yes and I left this poor girl there. Absolutely no hesitation on their part. This dog medically needed the mats removed asap. Two hours later I received a call and I picked up a different dog. Thank you. Thank you. Wonderful and caring people.

1 Garrod Dr, DavisThe folks at UC Davis went above and beyond what we have ever experienced!! 10 stars!! We had a dog come in through our rescue who needed a TECA (double ear ablation surgery) this is a very major surgery, and requires specialists. We got into Davis, we met with the wonderful Doctor Kyla Walter (DMV) and her staff. The thoroughness, care, compassion and attention to detail they had when taking on Cletus's case was just outstanding. He had other stuff come up (skin issues, infection due to bacteria that had been growing in his ear prior to surgery) they handled it so incredibly well. We got detailed updates twice a day, and he was so well taken care of. We have gone so numerous specialists in the Bay Area, and UC Davis not only provided stellar care, but they were honestly more affordable than any other place we got quoted. I cannot recommend them enough!! This has been a long journey for this dog and we couldn't have had a better group of experts to help him with this, and been more joyful to work with. THANK YOU DOCTOR WALTER and UC Davis!!!! We appreciate you all so much.

She had a blood transfusion, cardiology exams, and neurology exams all under supervision of Internal Medicine. Dr. Ad and Brooke were fabulous caring for Willow.

The whole team clearly loves animals, takes excellent care of pets, and the prices are amazing for the services provided!I've been using Kelsey's since 2017, and I have had an excellent experience each time they've cared for both my previous and current cats. My previous cat had specific medical needs toward the end of her life, and Kelsey and the team did a great job of making sure she got her medication and special food so that she was safe and comfortable. My current cat is extremely shy about strangers, but she is a huge fan of everyone on the team—we get many adorable pictures of her demanding attention and playtime from them when we're gone.The fact that Kelsey's is licensed, insured, and bonded is the final piece that makes KCC awesome. Knowing that Kelsey and the team take safety and security seriously means I have total peace of mind when leaving a pet in their care.

We were apprehensive at first when our daughter and her BF found this place which is semi in a residential area, but once we got inside and met our waitress, we could tell it was going to be great. And it was! From the crustunis with roasted bell pepper on top to the unbelievable raviolis and gnocchi to the scrumptious deserts, WE WILL BE BACK. The food and ambiance were just superb and you definitely have to try this place out! It was fantastic !
