27260 CA-128, WintersWe had our wedding rehearsal party at Berryessa Brewing, and it was the perfect way to kick off our wedding weekend! The brewery created exactly the relaxed, celebratory atmosphere we wanted for bringing together our families and wedding party. The setting is absolutely stunning - their spacious patio overlooks rolling hills that glow golden during sunset, creating a magical backdrop for photos and conversation. The rustic-meets-modern brewery vibe struck the perfect balance between casual and special, making everyone feel comfortable while still feeling like a celebration. The craft beer selection is exceptional, with something for every palate, and the staff was so friendly. But what truly made our event special was owner Lori's incredible hospitality. She worked with us ahead of time to make sure all our guests could be accommodated and that there would be a food truck for people who wanted a late night bite to eat. Our families are still talking about what a wonderful time they had - the combination of great beer, beautiful scenery, and genuine warmth from the Berryessa team made it feel like the perfect kickoff to our wedding weekend. We highly recommend working with Lori and team if you need a venue for a larger group, and we can't wait to come back to Winters and visit for a beer (or two!).

106 E Main St suite c, WintersStopped here while in the area for hubby to get coffee. Surprised to see they had other things there besides just coffee. Cute indoor and outdoor space. Many options to choose from. Hubby enjoyed his coffee. Service was nice but a little on the slower side from what I remember. It's in a great area with many local restaurants and shops to walk to. Unfortunately if you have a wheelchair or stroller the ramp to get inside is pretty far compared to where the entrance is located. Other than that I'll be back to try other options

2 Main St, WintersGot the prime rib here. Great flavor and could tell it was a great cut of ribeye used. Cooked to perfection. Sat outside on the patio and had a great experience. Our waitress was friendly and very attentive. It was a bit of a drive from the city but well worth the drive.

Preserve in Winters was exactly that kind of place.
The atmosphere is quiet, relaxed, and very comfortable. There were quite a few couples having dinner, the music was great, and the whole place had that genuine restaurant feel that I really appreciate.
We ordered the steak and chicken wings. The steak was absolutely outstanding — perfectly medium, incredibly juicy and tender, almost melting in your mouth. The seasoning was spot on: not overpowering, but definitely not bland either. I didn’t feel the need to add a single thing.
The sides were excellent too — fresh greens and beautifully cooked vegetables, including carrots, asparagus and zucchini. And the potatoes with aioli were fantastic: crispy on the outside, soft and tender inside, with an absolutely delicious sauce underneath. Probably one of my favorite parts of the meal.
The only thing I wasn’t completely impressed with was the chicken wings. They were good inside, but the outside felt slightly overcooked and dry, and I would have liked a little more flavor and a better crust.
Service was very good and attentive — maybe even a little too attentive for my personal taste. 😄 I’m still getting used to the American tradition of being asked every few minutes how everything is while I’m in the middle of chewing. But that’s really a matter of preference, not a complaint.
Overall: excellent food, beautiful interior, great music, relaxed atmosphere and very good service. Winters itself also surprised me — that little downtown street has several interesting-looking restaurants, and now I actually want to come back and explore more of them.
Preserve is definitely worth the trip. Highly recommended.

700 Matsumoto Ln, WintersBeen going here a very long time and the quality in service and drinks has slightly declined, a couple of the servers in drive thru are rude or either very impatient when taking the orders. Most worrying part is the drinks and the inconsistency’s when I’ve ordered throughout these last couple months drinks aren’t mixed all the way or are missing things that were added on and paid for and or things were added into the drink that wasn’t included or asked for when ordered. Not all of the servers at this location are inconsistent or bad most of the people working here are very kind and helpful. There’s a few select people who definitely have an attitude and or clearly aren’t interested in working here.
