Butter Pecan Bakeshop
6472 Hollis St, EmeryvilleI was introduced to Butter Pecan Cookie Shop by my sister and mom a few months ago, and it’s honestly become a sweet treat of mine. I live within walking distance to the Emeryville location, and I literally have to stop myself from getting a cookie whenever I want to. My absolute favorite flavor that I’ve had so far has been the peach cobbler cookie! The signature butter pecan cookie is always delicious as well. Staff members are always extremely friendly, cookies are always fresh, the store is always clean, and there are always a variety of options to pick from. From the staple cookies to the seasonal items, you can’t go wrong! Treat yourself – you deserve it.

Saucy Asian (Emeryville)
5614 Bay St, EmeryvilleLocated on the Bay Street Plaza in Emeryville, on the second floor next to Barnes and Nobles. Saucy Asian is a Korean fusion restaurant. It’s a trendy place and is pretty busy all the way to closing time. We came in today after shopping at the new Tokyo Central across the street for a late dinner. We ordered at 7:58pm and did not receive our food until 8:26pm which was quite long wait for what we ordered. There is some indoor seating as well as outdoor seating.
As for food we ordered:
- Saucy Asian Bowl
- Saucy Asian Fries
- Island Style Poke Bowl (combo: half tuna/half Salmon)
All the food were good, have no complaints, but have had better elsewhere. Overall, if we’re in the mood for their food, we would come back.

Comeback Cafe
6009 Christie Ave, EmeryvilleSupporting local business in Emeryville. Note that this place is on Christie opposite to FedEx, not inside the public market.
The noodles, while not the best pho in the bay area, they are decent. Both noodles they served came with delicious broth. Unlike many pho places, these didn't leave you with a dry mouth. Wish their beef can be softer and more tendered - that's the only (but critical) place to lose shine. You know - always room for improvement. Can't wait to come back and try their banh mi.

Rudy's Can't Fail Cafe
4081 Hollis St, EmeryvilleYou can't fail with Rudy's Can't Fail in Emeryville. This place has been an established no fail breakfast joint for me since I moved to Bay Area 8 years ago. The quirky decor is my favorite. I try to sit indoors at the tables with the toys in the resin. They shifted to a pay at the counter first method since I last visited. Which seems to work fine and doesn't seem to change the experience. I had the Huevos Ranchero even though I usually have the Tower of Power (because they know what is hip). Go get you some awesome breakfast here.

Arizmendi Bakery & Pizzeria
4301 San Pablo Ave, EmeryvilleLove the green spicy sauce! I put it on everything but especially the delicious pizza. Everything I have tried is so delicious! Another favorite is the Gorgonzola walnut sourdough bread. I look forward to it each week. Best bread ever! I love their soups, scones, muffins, cookies and breads. They make an awesome chai too!

The Sunday
3986 Adeline St, EmeryvilleThe wait was long. They only have an online menu, so ask for the wifi and scan it to browse while waiting. I would recommend sitting outside if the weather permits. Inside is smaller, and completely hard surfaces, seats included, so if there is a small group in there enjoying themselves or talking loudly, you will not be able to hear yourself think. Until the food gets there. When the food gets there, the rest of the world disappears. I ordered the truffle omelet. The food portions are very generous. It was something I had never tasted anything like before, and the same goes for thier French toast. The food was pricy but well worth it. The coffee was too expensive. I will absolutely go again, but have my cup of coffee before I get there.

Good To Eat
1298 65th St Suite #1, EmeryvilleFood: High quality Taiwanese dishes that are hard to find elsewhere in the East Bay. Some dishes felt too small given the price and what they were (e.g. noodles). We didn't over order, but were on the threshold of still feeling somewhat hungry.
Service: There could be improvements to the efficiency of the seating service. We waited close to half hour to get seated even though there were a lot of open tables. Once seated the service and speed at which the food came was good.
