I'm so proud of this store for not exploiting, commodifying, or selling animals. I hope people will also let them know they are glad they do not contribute to the cruel practice of overbreeding animals for pet stores that lead to tens if not hundreds of thousands of animals being needlessly euthanized every year. I will continue to shop at this store and other locations as well. The workers are always so kind, loving, and helpful. Way to go!

Empathy & hospitality at it's finest....
Maitexa-was the 1st person to greet me and because of her she made my day. Very kind, started conversations and her smile was pure. Mazie Mae was well taken care of by the Dr's. Dr. Rothstein was very good with Mazie, even listening to my last appointment with Dr. Kim, she was fantastic. She didn't make me rush the conversations & didn't rush the process
Left a place in El Cerrito after my senior cat was diagnosed with cancer, they lack empathy during our time. Empathy is so important to have and just feel Abby has that

I am dismayed that they are owned by private equity, but I can't find a Vet who isn't.

At first I was skeptical of the whole puppy training idea, but as I started joining the class, I realized I had been doing a lot of things wrong and only regretted that I didn't start sooner. Jeffrey is very experienced and knowledgeable - he addresses my endless questions and concerns with patience and encouragement. I will continue to work with him to train my two dogs through different levels - my dogs really enjoy going to the class :-)

The atmosphere is so nice and it’s so clean too. They had a picture on the wall that made us feel as if we were in China and the plants just made it even better.
We ordered fish, dry hot pot, spicy hot pot
And shuimai( my least favorite one) other than that the portions were generous. We live close by and will be back again. Thankyou

The husband and I were looking for as new place to try and R&J's did not disappoint. The biscuits are huge. The gravy, made with chicken apple sausage, was delightful, and a variety of options to choose from.
Generous portions, delicious food, and an attentive staff made this a spot we definitely will visit again.

Small dining area that has nostalgic atmosphere and the service was friendly! We would definitely recommend and come here again.

You can order on the counter or Kiosk they have on there which is so helpful! I got the turkey sandwich which my friend said it was good (: and watermelon fruit tea which I loved. Even the restroom feels homey like 💯
