Pet Grooming
all about the DOGue salon & spa
3850 CA-123 STE 105, EmeryvilleThey are very friendly and do a great job with my large dog Patata! I took her to this place the day after I adopted her and we have been going regularly since. She smells so good for a couple weeks after each shower and it helps a lot with the shedding. Last time I dropped her she went inside right away, which tells me that they treat her very well! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a professional grooming for their furry baby!

The Sunday
3986 Adeline St, EmeryvilleSolid place, but not all that special. Maybe I didn't order any of their really unique stuff, so that's on me. I like that they have a wide variety of hot sauces.I don't really like that between credit card fees, a 18 percent default tip, and the tip being calculated after tax and fees, things cost like 36 percent more than their listed price (rather than the standard 25).

Hidden Spot Emeryville
4000 Adeline St, EmeryvilleWas hankering for a burger today, fast food has gotten too expensive for the crap they serve. Have seen this place on Yelp, and frequently pass by here. Stopped in for a wagyu burger and it definitely did not disappoint! Got the old fashioned burger. Thick juicy patty, cooked right to the medium rare as I asked for it. Loaded with American cheese, mayo, yellow mustard, ketchup, pickles and red onion! All on a nice soft brioche roll. Def a sloppy burger, but well seasoned and delish! Got a small order of the fries and for one person it is a ton of food. Also got some wings to go, have read great things about them. Those are gonna be dinner tonight. Will definitely return!

Bank Club Cafe
3900 San Pablo Ave, EmeryvilleThe Banks Club in Emeryville is the spot! Soul, funk tunes fill the air all day, and the DJ sets on weekends are just dope. Karaoke nights? Always a blast. They pour generously too. I've had countless great times here. It's like the Cheers of Emeryville - you're gonna love it. 100% recommend!

Wondrous Brewing Company
1306 65th St, EmeryvilleFull disclosure: I'm more of a wine drinker than a beer one. Physically I think this place is a beautiful place to hang out. It's kind of a modern industrial take on a biergarten with high ceilings and lots of wood and stainless steel. I've never seen it anything but spotlessly clean. When the weather is warm I definitely prefer hanging out on the patio area in front. They don't serve food themselves, but they sometimes have a food truck and are totally fine with you bringing in outside food. There are a handful of great food choices within walking distance. They're known for their IPAs which aren't usually my jam, but there are always other interesting options to try. For example I had their new "Dark Headed" Imperial Stout on my last visit and really enjoyed it. (It was almost like a dessert wine, but beer if that makes any sense?) They also have taster pours so you can sample one or build a custom flight. It does get a little busy on Friday around happy hour and on weekends. But the service has always been friendly and knowledgeable. I've never had to wait long for drink either. It's obvious they take pride in the product and what they do. They go above and beyond and I am happy to applaud them for it.

KYU2 Sushi
6485 Hollis St, EmeryvilleSensational sushi experience!! Wonderful service, delicious drinks, tasty tempura, and the sushi rolls were made with fresh fish and fabulously portioned and presented. We had the volcano and spider rolls, works of art (check out the dragon, almost didn't want to eat it!). KYU2 is now our sushi go-to!
