5996 Hwy 9, FeltonDefinitely 5 stars. Got me in right away. Saved my dogs life. Spent all night in the emergency animal hospital and they didn’t have time to even see us. Called Felton Vet right when they opened and they fit me in. I feel like they cared for my boy like he was there’s. I’ll never go anywhere else. Love this place.

Beneath the Redwoods Mobile Vet
11730 Lakeshore Drive, FeltonThis morning was as good as any heartbreaking event could be. We drove through the redwoods and didn't care much that cars lined up behind us. Windows wide open, at first she was up head out the window. It wasn't long till she was down flat sleeping. We got to the vet early so we opened the tailgate and sat a good while with her, whispering, reassurring and loving on her. We told her that Grama and Grampa were waiting with Smitty and Buffy (our sometimes cats) to all play together. She just let us pet and stroke her. The vet made an obligatory attempt to advise us about pain meds, iron shots and to wait some more. Michele and I were resigned. We dreaded a late night hemorrhage and pain and a flying trip to get help. It was just time. Dr. Jen said Vera was skinny, dehydrated, anemic and had a very large palpable spleen. Probably all tumor by now. One shot to put her to sleep and a second to stop her heart. It was all so calm, peaceful, not even a twitch. We stayed there for a while, thanking the vet, remembering our past visits and the Felton parade.

While staying at a nearby RV resort and exploring the little town of Felton, I came upon the amazing smell of pizza that would not leave my mind! Several camp nights later the day before we left, I had to try it! I definitely would have regretted not ordering this pizza. I ordered the Cougar which came with pepperoni, mushrooms, olives and cheddar. It reminded me of an old school pizza I might have had as a kid...The crust was to die for and cooked to perfection, all ingredients were fresh, high quality and even the marinara tasted homemade.
My husband ordered the Calzone and it was huge! Again, that crust is everything. Well worth the money! Since we took the pizza to go, I was pretty happy that I was able to take my craft beer to go also!
Service was fast and friendly. This may become a regular stop whenever we're back in the area. Highly recommend!

379 Felton Empire Rd, FeltonWe stopped in here for a tasting as we were camping on the property. You can book the campsites on HipCamp. I loved the idea of staying on the property of a wine tasting room. The wines offered are mainly red wine (a tasting is $25 a glass is $15). They also offer plenty of cider on tap and you can also do a tasting of those. The wines were good, I'm more of a Chardonnay lover but I was still happy to try their offerings. The service was good, only the host/owner was working but he was able to serve a pretty busy tasting room quickly. There is plenty of parking and a clean restroom. They also do private events. The owners dog is also there and he was super friendly.

5447 Hwy 9, FeltonLike a good salad with charbroiled chicken that isn't dry? This is the place! I had the Cran Apple chicken salad, could use a wee bit more gorgonzola (my taste). Husband had a Liberty Bell sandwich. Neither was a disappointment! Taste and didn't skimp on meat.
