I couldn't believe how gentle and caring the owner was when grooming/giving a hair trim to our kitty. She is truly the cat whisperer! Our kitty let her give her a bath, nail trim, and lion cut without any issues. She made her feel so safe and calm the entire time. We will definitely be back!

Tiana's thoughtful and effective approach made a significant difference in Arlo's training. She took the time to understand his unique personality and needs, which were key factors in Arlo's successful training journey.
The Service Dog program was particularly impressive. Tiana and Sierra provided comprehensive training that focused not only on obedience but also on the specific skills required for service work. Arlo is now well-prepared to assist my son in various situations, thanks to their expertise.
Overall, I highly recommend Alpha Dog and Tiana for anyone looking to train their dog. The care and dedication she shows to both the dogs and their owners are truly commendable. Thank you, Tiana, for working with us!

489 Miller Ave, Mill ValleyExcellent experience here with Dr Whitlock. My only regret is not coming sooner. She diagnosed my Labrador (osteochondritis of the hock) within minutes whereas other vets over multiple years had x-rayed the wrong areas and had suspected other diagnoses. While my dog’s condition is chronic, it is well managed under Dr Whitlock’s suggestions. She is calm, compassionate and patient, making you feel not rushed and comfortable to ask questions. While this care is expensive, I did find the comparable rates competitive for the area and never felt pressured to pay for anything. I am a o grateful to have such a wonderful vet practice in the area. Thank you!

Aggie Animal Dental Center
487 Miller Ave, Mill ValleyI can’t say enough good things about Dr. May and everyone at Aggie Animal Dental Center. My greyhound, Dax, managed to break three canines in five months, and their team performed vital pulp therapy on four of his teeth. Their skill and professionalism are truly impressive, and I fully trust their expertise.
One thing I really appreciate is how thorough they are. At the end of each visit, Dr. May personally goes over everything in detail, including Dax’s CT scan, and they even send me photos from his procedure. It’s such a thoughtful touch and really shows how much they care.
Having a dedicated anesthesiologist on site gives me tremendous peace of mind, especially with a dog like Dax who has had multiple procedures. I’ll absolutely be returning for his routine cleanings, and I’ll be recommending Aggie Animal Dental Center to all my friends and family.
The only minor downside is that they book up about a month in advance, but honestly, that just speaks to how good they are. Definitely worth the wait!

Dr. Harding was absolutely fantastic. She walked me through her suspicions and my options of what could be done. Incredibly personable and thorough. And the ladies up front (I'm so sorry guys, I forgot your names!) were so wonderful and friendly. We had a lot of fun talking about our work experiences while I was waiting for my ride. I will definitely be continuing my cats' care here at this office.

254 Shoreline Hwy, Mill ValleyAmazing amazing place? As a visitor in San Francisco, Marin county was my favorite part of the trip and this place played a big part in it! Their fish is fresh and their servers are super friendly. The vibes are immaculate - please do sit outside if you can! We got the popular fish & chips and a poke plate, and absolutely devoured everything. Their carrot habanero sauce provided for the tables is so good. The local craft beers were top notch also. Next time, i would love to try the fish tacos!

Warm soft pita, crisp fresh veggies, great house made sauce and really tasty gyro meat. And always friendly service from the owner. Small seating area so may need to plan to do take out versus eat in.

The fried chicken is juicy, and the sauce is absolutely delicious. The only downside was that it was very cold inside — especially if you sit next to the window, the cold air blows directly on you.

The vibe inside is your typical PNW/West Coast progressive, which certainly isn’t my cup of tea, but I never felt ostracized while patronizing the place. That’s actually why I want to leave a good review, because I often look like a target for progressive attack, but they’re actually inclusive enough to be friendly and helpful to me!
The coffee quality alone in the offerings are enough to recommend them, but the service is what brings them to the top, in my opinion.

106 Lomita Dr, Mill ValleyLeslie has the best chicken selection around! I check her chick list every spring, despite not having anymore room in my east bay yard. I’ve purchased chicks from her twice now and she is super knowledgeable, willingly answers all my questions and provides any new chick owners with all of the supplies needed to set up a brooder. She even responded to an email months later about a possible impacted crop in one of my hens. She takes the health of her birds very seriously (even having you change shoes upon arrival) which is so important when dealing with chicks! I will never get chicks from a feed store again- it’s worth it for me to spend a little more to ensure the health of my chicks, not to mention i get my pick of hard to find breeds. Couldn’t recommend Mill Valley chickens enough!
