“Went in just before closing and employees were welcoming and helpful. I had to get my ingredients for my puppy's grain free homemade dog food and they had everything I needed at 1/2 the price of the big name grocery stores.”
“Pretty great deals, but always check your stuff. I’ve got a few things that were opened and expired from here, but you save a lot of money shopping here.”
“I was pleasantly surprised at this nice little mktplace I discovered in a shopping center next to Dollar Tree, Sprouts, Burlington and 5Below. Their prices r low and quality is high! I paid a lot more for name brand cough meds at Target - the savngs would have been almost 5$ if I had gotten it here and even more savings from cost at CVS! I like the veggies fruit and grocery section a lot!”
“Daiso is a Japanese household goods chain and this location in California is a large one, which means the selection is broader than what you find at smaller branches. The store carries an extensive range of everyday items at a flat price point, most things running around $1.75, with some higher priced items marked in yen alongside a conversion table posted throughout the store to help you work out the equivalent in dollars.
The product range covers more ground than the format suggests. Kitchen supplies, storage containers, cleaning products, school and craft supplies, makeup, nail polish, party supplies, snacks, and seasonal items all occupy different sections of the store, and the inventory turns over regularly enough that repeat visits tend to surface new things. The Japanese sourcing means you encounter items that simply do not have equivalents in American dollar stores, which is part of what makes browsing here feel different from a standard discount shop. Camping supplies, food molds, and specialty organizers show up in sections that reward walking through the whole store rather than heading directly to what you came for.
The store is well organized and large enough that navigating it takes some time if you are being thorough. The layout is generally logical and items are grouped sensibly by category. Staff tend to vary in terms of engagement, but the checkout process is efficient.
For anyone setting up a kitchen, stocking up on organizational supplies, or just looking for affordable Japanese imported goods in a browsable format, Daiso is a genuinely useful stop. The price point makes experimentation easy, and it is the kind of store where you typically leave with more than you planned to buy.”
“This should be a 5 rating because of the store's offerings, so many nice things, and it is quite affordable. Also, hubby and I were greeted as soon as we walked in. Although there was no acknowledgment while browsing, I was okay with that. This was what we had been trying to find. I think you can find whatever you need there, except for appliances and big-ticket items, of course. You won’t get bored looking around. But the cashier was the main problem here. He looked like he hated his job. The line was long and seemed nonstop. He's looking at it with a frustrated stare. There was no greeting when we reached the register, no smile, and his tone was unpleasant. I tried to engage him in conversation, but he didn't reply; he must have disliked being on the register that much. He must have needed more training. But everything else was good.”
“Large store, lots of women's wear of all kinds to choose from along with men's children's art supplies toys bedding and linens housewares make up and toiletries and more. The wait time in line to pay had been over 20 minutes for the past 6 months but happily it was less than a minute yesterday and my checker was very friendly as well.”
“I love Dollar Tree for so many things: cards, holiday and birthday decorations, craft supplies, food storage, and novelty items. I always find more than what I went in to shop for.”
“Well, I like that store; it has affordable prices and you can find a little bit of everything. Just always check the expiration dates because there are several products about to expire, or sometimes they're already expired.”
“This shop is impressive! I came here looking for a set of drill bits to install a curtain rod over my bedroom window and bought a few more items LOL The prices are excellent, as comparable items would cost more at Harbor Freight, Home Depot or Lowes. Inside the store, it's quite large, sprawling from one end to the other with a wide selection of goods. One of the things they had that surprised me was an HDMI coupler, which enables connection between two short ones to extend length. Included here are two photographs; one of the receipt and one of the items. Highly recommend shopping here to anyone seeking a deal! Some of the items are priced above the $1.49/1.99 range, generally from $5 to $10 to $20 and I even saw a high quality item priced at around $55! Definitely appeared to be worth the price, though and was an exception rather than the rule here when it comes to pricing. I'm glad I popped in here and you will be, too! The items I received for $25.67 (after tax) - * a 4 section tool box * a 13 piece drill bit set * a 12 piece screwdriver bit set * a 26 piece screwdriver bit set w/ screwdriver * a small tool of black duct tape * 2 HDMI couplers * a No Touch germ tool (ATM buttons, door handles) * a 4 pack of very large binder clips * 2 wide CD cases with cheerleaders on them * a high quality tweezers”
“Seen a homeless woman try to rob the place the employees handled the matter professionally and employees are great and there is a large variety of things here to get I feel this is a great dollar tree for the East Side San Jose Area”

“Best shop ever! It can literally satisfy every taste.
I came in to buy swimming shorts and I couldn’t believe how many beautiful clothes they have.
I will not miss to come again.”
“Great Wholesale/Retail space! You can find lots of blankets, rugs and other home good stuff here! This might be a great spot for people amazon FBA to source items and flip them! Took a couple pictures of the inside of what you could find on your visit here! Ive been told styles and supply change frequently and depends on upcoming holidays and seasons. Very affordable stuff with super friendly staff. Not sure why yelp gave them a 4$$$$ sign on their business here but its definitely more like one or two $ signs. The workers here speak English Spanish and Chinese!”
“Nice store, sometimes they need more people at the registers. But they are always very friendly, and the shelves are always stocked nicely. Nice store and nice location.”
“There is very little that you cannot find while shopping at the $1 Dollar Plus Super Store. They are extremely friendly & helpful. I went in for 1 item & came out with 17 items that I could really use. This would be the perfect place for finding all your travel needs. I will go there very often, because the savings were marvelous!!”

“The changing rooms went from a normal changing place to what looks like porta potties in the front of the store. The floor is so disgusting that you do not want to take your shoes off. I couldn't even try on bottoms because of that.”

“Eureka! I have found my very favorite store for Bargains! Truth be told: I cannot help myself. A good friend told me about Dd's...so, I popped in...just to take a peek and...I found darling JEANS at price of my dreams ( ($14.99) then- the coolest blouse again:
Bargain! Finally, a stunning cable knit sweater jumped in my cart.
Sigh. I have found My Place!”
“This Dollar Tree near Cambrian Park is clean, well-organized, and surprisingly spacious for a neighborhood location. It’s a great stop before or after a meal at Goku Korean BBQ, especially if you’re picking up party supplies, snacks, or household basics. The seasonal aisle is always fun to browse, and the frozen section is better stocked than expected. Staff are friendly and keep the lines moving, even during weekend rushes.
Parking is easy in the shared lot, and the store is accessible for families with strollers or seniors. Inventory rotates often, so you’ll find new surprises on each visit. It’s not fancy, but it’s reliable and budget-friendly—perfect for quick errands or prepping for a family gathering. A solid 4-star spot that gets the essentials right.”
“Nice spot for watching movies, staff is kinda lazy and talk really low and lazy. They don’t give good direction when it comes to sending you to certain screens”

“Ross Cem at the Five Below on Cottle Ave gave amazing customer service. He was kind, patient, and professional even while dealing with a very difficult customer ahead of me. He stayed calm, helpful, and never showed frustration. When it was my turn, he was friendly and even apologized (though he didn’t need to). One of the best customer service experiences I’ve had in a long time!”
“First time here and loved it. I wasn't looking for anything specific. But came out with some things. Owners were very pleasant. Glad to hear they support returns as I need to return something or find a version that isn't broken. I love these kind of treasure hunts and don't mind the crowed, tight aisles..”
“I don't care what haters think about this store.I know for a fact it's the best store ever and that goes for the:North, East, South, And West side of San Jose CA.”
“They had a lot of cute stuff you can pretty much get anything cheap if you need face cream wash mousse hair clips I got some nice little hair clips that hold my hair pretty good chips snacks I don't know how people say they're hungry when there's so much stuff to eat there they got toys wrapping papers cards you name it they got it and if you're looking for the tapatio noodles yes they got them they even have shot glasses for when you're going to get married different stuff so I definitely like coming here and finding different treasures”
“WOW! Be prepared to be impressed.
This is a Huge store, I mean three times larger than ANY Dollar Tree. ....There are so many, many items for every event, holiday, you can think of...Plan on spending time and money. Party of one!”
“I'm rating this dollar store based on being a dollar store. I'm not going to rate it based on other larger stores that may be much fancier, but much more expensive. This store has a wide variety and good selection, it has the usual few stacks of boxes in the aisles waiting to be put away, but the cashier had a long line and they were busy. Once I got what I needed and was checking out, even though they're was a little bit of a wait time, the cashier was very friendly and personable.”
“In San Jose downtown go east on Santa Clara street passing Jackson . This is a hidden place and the only store in the strip that has foldable shopping carts. Price has gone up to fourty dollars for a medium cart with turnable large back wheels. Washing sponges are great! Go figure....”
“Costco Business Center San Jose - always great place to shop esp. early Sat morning before the big rush. Better have pre-set budget to minimize impulse purchases (do as I say, not .....;~})”
