We completed beginner and advanced training with her at Unleashed by Petco on Yulupa. We were so impressed at her ability to get him to focus and we appreciate her thoroughness teaching us each of the drills, always making sure we had an understanding and offered to answer any questions. It is hidden behind a couple businesses (play it again sports and a dispensary). Still can't find it? It is directly across the street from Costco and worth the small effort of finding it. Check it out and tell me if I'm not right. Take note of their prices on litter or a toy or some catnip or some puppy pads and then go across the street and compare it to the shopping experience at Pet Smart and see if I'm not right! Go to those other places to buy a hamster. Get your litter and feed at Pet Club. Go see for yourself ..

So glad petco now has better staff. Remember petco staff will do anything management tells them to do. Don’t lose these amazing staff members. Fix your management.

I've been "grooming" our poor 15-yo Maltese for over a year. He hates it, I hate it, and he looked terrible because I am not a groomer.I *finally* got on the wait list with Rebecca at The Soggy Doggy, and got lucky with a cancellation.She listened to what I wanted, and really delivered. WOW. I've never seen Kobe look so handsome even with other groomers we've had in the past. It's obvious that she really cares about the animals in her care and her skill as a groomer is very evident. I've already booked out appointments through the end of the year.

2210 County Center Dr, Santa RosaI am so grateful we found this clinic! Everyone who works there is incredibly kind, knowledgable, and compassionate. I'd highly recommend checking out this practice to anyone, but especially if you have a an animal that is more nervous in typical vet office environments. Our dog has had a lot of fear going to the vets ever since he got neutered and can react aggressively, we've done a lot of training with him and he wears a muzzle, but he is still sensitive and learning that its okay to be touched by humans. Felicia (vet tech) was absolutely AMAZING being able to help handle our dog with such care and sureness, so Dr. Powers could administer his yearly vaccines swiftly. Dr. Powers was understanding and took his time to greet our dog and give him space, before approaching for the medical work. We are glad we found this place and will be referring anyone we know here!

She was a great coach and teacher. She helped me read my dog's body language, cues and behaviors as we walked through a park where there were kids, ducks, loud trucks, teenagers, and other dogs. Penny gave me insight and taught me tools that I will definitely be using every day moving forward. I could tell my dog was totally comfortable with Penny, and so was I! I would highly recommend working with her.

Incredible Canine
3163 Juniper Ave, Santa RosaWe can’t say enough great things about Patrick and Incredible Canine Training in Santa Rosa. Our Great Pyrenees was having serious behavioral issues, especially with aggression toward others, and we honestly weren’t sure what to do next. A good friend recommended Patrick to us, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we’ve ever made for our dog and our family.
Patrick not only helped us dramatically reduce the aggressive behaviors, but he also taught us how to better understand and communicate with our dog. The difference in our daily lives is incredible. Our Pyrenees barely barks anymore, walks beautifully on a leash, and actually comes when called, something we didn’t think was possible before training.
Patrick continues to provide support even after the initial program, which has been a huge help in keeping things consistent. He truly knows what he’s doing, and you can tell he genuinely cares about both the dogs and their owners.
Our dog enjoys it so much that we now board him there because it’s like Club Med for him. He gets so excited the moment we pull onto the property, which says it all.
It was worth every penny, and we would recommend Incredible Canine Training to anyone struggling with behavioral issues or just looking to strengthen their relationship with their dog.

I looked at a bunch of places and Taylor Mountain is definitely the best place to go. They're out in the country -they seem to love it.my pup came home tired but happy. I know he was well cared for.Even got a bath and nail trim. I am so appreciative to have found a place like this.. Kelly even sent me a videos and text messages just very on top of it. Frida was a VERY particular creature and Cara was a cherished part of her inner circle--high praise coming from a Torty (if you know, you know)! Most recently Cara helped me navigate the sudden loss of my 7-year-old dog. She's a compassionate, insightful, loving human being with the unique gift of helping animals and their people through the death and dying process -- whether it's a sudden loss or a longer journey with hospice care.

Lana is amazing and Heidi chatted with me about growing up in Santa Rosa as did I. Fun to feel at home. Harvest Moon Estate & Winery
2192 Olivet Rd, Santa RosaSept 18, 2025 my wife and I were on our 1st full day of California, Napa, Sonoma, Santa Rosa, Petaluma area- WINE Country after traveling from Ohio. We were given the recommendation to visit the Harvest Moon winery after visiting Balletto Vineyards- which was exceptional. We drove in and were the only ones on the patio as work- grape crushing- was going on outside. The beautiful area appeared to be smaller and more intimate and not as commercialized as Balletto which suits us fine. We sat at the outside tables and watched three guys at the crush pad unload bins full of grapes into the crusher. We were in no hurry so we watched the interesting process intently while relaxing. After a short time the proprietor Randy came off the skid steer or tractor and greeted us. We went inside the tasting room and he proceeded to explain what they were doing outside in the tents and the about the wine flights we would enjoy. I had the red flight while my wife( Beth) had the sweet dessert white flight. We sat outside at the tables, enjoyed everyone of the wines in the flights, enjoyed watching the process of crushing the grapes, taking the stems and extra(s) in one bin and checking out the bins full of crushed grapes...with dry ice.. I had to have an explanation of this which Randy did. We had an very enjoyable experience in the totally relaxing atmosphere, while Randy as the working man he is did his thing to make the wines we were enjoying. During a break from crushing the grapes Randy asked us our thoughts of the flights and said he had an extra taste he would bring out for us. He took care of another couple that had arrived for a tasting and had his son bring us some chocolate the was to be paired with our extra tasting. With the extra wine tasting and the chocolate which did pair very well with both the red and dessert flight, we decide to take a couple bottles home with us. Randy- I sit here writing this review as I had popped the signed bottle of Malbec I brought home to enjoy and to remember our time at Harvest Moon Winery. Thank you for this experience of our time enjoying your wines.

But it turns out the fire crews were here to get some good grub, and this was the place that delivered. Great food! Charming atmosphere. It feels good coming here. From tacos with fresh handmade tortillas, to chocolate mole sauce, to crepes for dessert..the food here is great!

I want to thank all of the staff at the Humane Society for their attention and care. Denise answered all of the questions we had. They also helped us with a better carrier so we could transport Shasta safely as she had rebelled against the soft carrier we had.

Bird Rescue Center
3430 Chanate Rd, Santa RosaWow! What an incredible group of people working and volunteering here! My 5 year old has a new found passion for owls and the folks at the Bird Rescue Center answered all of his questions, shared interesting facts and were overwhelmingly wonderful with him. We interacted with 7+ people and they were all wonderful and clearly care about the animals in their care. We ended up sponsoring Comet, a screech owl, and my son is over the moon about his experience. Thank you!
