I completely understand if she’s new and still learning, but especially on a busy Saturday some of us have to get to work- things usually run much more smoothly with the cashier who was there before. I never got her name, but she usually wears her hair in a cute ponytail with glasses. She is always friendly, efficient, and keeps the line moving.

My wife and I were warmly greeted as soon as we walked in. We also had the pleasure of meeting Marko, the owner, along with his wife, Michelle, and Antonio, who was incredibly attentive throughout our visit. You can immediately tell this is a family-run restaurant where people genuinely care.
The food was exceptional. I have honestly never had hash browns this fresh before. Marko explained that they’re never frozen and are delivered fresh the same day. The tomatoes were equally fresh, the strawberry jam was homemade, and even the dressings are made in-house. Nothing tasted mass-produced. Every bite reflected the care that went into it.
Our food took a little longer to arrive, and I actually appreciated that. Fresh food should take time. I’d much rather wait a few extra minutes for a meal that’s made to order than have it appear instantly.
The menu has plenty of choices, the prices are very reasonable for the quality, and the hospitality was just as impressive as the food.
I have a lot of respect for people who spend their lives mastering what they love and eventually build something that reflects that passion. Meeting Marko gave me exactly that impression. If quality truly matters to you, give yourself the chance to eat here. It’s easy to see why places like this earn the success they have.

One of the best dining experiences we've had, friendly service, incredible food, everything exceeded our expectations. We had variety of dishes so we could sample as much of the menu as possible: oysters on the half shell were fresh and delicious, soft shell crab was perfectly prepared, the clam chowder was rich, creamy, and full of flavor, catfish po' boy was outstanding, Brussels sprouts were cooked perfectly, & even the tomato soup w/ grilled cheese was absolutely delicious??? Every single dish was a hit, and we honestly couldn't find one thing to complain about. The quality of the food, the attentive service, and the relaxed atmosphere made for a fantastic evening. We would highly recommend The Dive Oyster Bar to anyone looking for fresh seafood and great service. We can't wait to come back and try even more of the menu!

Hangang Korean restaurant
5612 Rosemead Blvd, Temple CityHangang Korean Restaurant is a newer Korean spot in the SGV that focuses on classic comfort dishes in a warm and comfortable setting. The restaurant is tucked into a small plaza, so it is easy to miss while driving by.
The menu focuses on familiar Korean dishes, and the standout for me was the galbijjim. The short ribs were incredibly tender and cooked to the point where the meat easily came away, with a rich savory flavor. The sauce had a good balance without overpowering the natural flavor of the meat. The bibimbap was also a good dish, pretty standard that compares well to other places that also serve the dish.
The soups and lighter dishes also make the menu feel well rounded. The seafood pancake is another good addition, with a satisfying texture and enough flavor to stand on its own. The banchan were a nice part of the meal as well. The side dishes came out fresh and added variety throughout the meal, making the table feel more complete.
Service was friendly and attentive throughout the visit. The staff were helpful and made the experience feel comfortable, whether you were ordering a full spread or just stopping by for a specific dish. There is also plenty of parking compared to some other Korean food areas, which makes the visit more convenient.
Overall, Hangang is a solid addition to the SGV Korean food scene. The combination of comforting dishes, generous portions, quality meats, and a relaxed atmosphere makes it a place I would return to.

Unless you have super high service standards (which you shouldnt at a spot charging $20/person) there isn't too much to complain about. Hot pot items are fresh, tons of choices, broths are good, and a great variety of free drinks. The Dim sum and skewers aren't mind blowing but are included in the price as well. The service isn't amazing, but for the price paid its more than a fair trade off.

It is sad but necessary that they are moving HQ out of CA to TN. More companies need to follow suite to show Gavin Newscum and his policy makers that their regulations and taxes are driving thousands of individuals and corporations out of the state. I will always stand with In N Out no matter where they go.

9153 E Las Tunas Dr, Temple CityI had a delightful experience at Oops Boba Tea & Coffee (Temple City). I ordered the Baked Brulee Milk Tea ($6.59) with Boba (additional 75 cents). It's crisp black tea, salty & sweet brulee foam, and non-dairy milk with bouncy, perky boba pearls. I sipped happily. I arrived at Oops Boba Tea & Coffee (Temple City) on Sunday (around 11:12AM). Parking is simple since there's a nearby neighborhood with street parking. I quickly found a spot. Customers can order at the self-service kiosk or the counter. I chose the self-service kiosk, and I regret it because I dislike how the self-service kiosk requires the customer's phone number to proceed. Staff communicates well. After ordering, Staff honestly & politely informed me that they'd need 20 additional minutes for their Boba since they recently opened. I was perfectly fine with that since they spoke upfront and honestly. After the 20 minutes passed, the drink took four minutes and 14 seconds. As mentioned, I ordered the Baked Brulee Milk Tea ($6.59) with Boba (additional 75 cents). It's delicious. This chill drink carries a crisp tea flavor. The foam is also zesty with a soft sweetness. It reminds me of a creamy milk tea. In addition, they made wonderful boba pearls. These boba pearls are sweet, bouncy, and playful. YUM! On ambiance, Oops Boba Tea & Coffee (Temple City) is a wonderful spot to study/work. There's a long wooden table with 9 electrical plug spots, and there's four available electrical outlets. The location also includes customer internet with password; the details are confidently shown on the counter. The location also has a gender neutral restroom in the back, and there's plentiful hand sanitizer bottles in reach. The location felt clean and comfortable. Oops Boba Tea & Coffee (Temple City) uses its space well. There's four tables and one long wooden table. There's also two small outside tables. During my stay, it felt very comfy as I listened to its smooth music. Overall, I had a pleasant experience at Oops Boba Tea & Coffee (Temple City). They serve wonderful drinks and boba. If searching for a place to study/work, this is an easy recommendation. 4.8 out of 5
