She’s a former vet tech, so your dogs health is in good hands. I have a reactive shelter German Shepherd that had me worried about mixing with other dogs. She handled it just like Cesar Milan. My Baron LOVES being boarded at Pooches Playground! Your dog will not be crated. It’s an open (indoor) playground.

311 N Santa Anita Ave, ArcadiaArcadia Animal Hospital is the first vet clinic I've taken my pets to since moving to California. The facilities, diagnostic capabilities, and attention to detail is immaculate. The quality of medicine that is being provided is top tier. I have a very fearful pitty, and everyone went above and beyond to make her visit positive. Our technician and doctor (Francis and Dr. Sanfilippo) were both so patient and kind, and I could tell they genuinely wanted the best for my girl. Even though their prices may be a bit higher than other places, for the amount of love and quality of medicine we received, I won't be taking my girl anywhere else.

Las Tunas Animal Hospital
108 Las Tunas Drive, Arcadiay wife and I have taken our dogs here since the early 1980s. Dr. Peterson has always taken great care of our 7 dogs through the years. Very caring and professional. The ONLY time I took one of our dogs to another vet (a VCA), she was misdiagnosed. Our Wolf/Malamute was right at 16 yrs (had him since 5 weeks) and needed our extra attention in his last days. Our Ausie who was 14.5 yrs had a growth the VCA vet said was benign. It turned out to be cancer and of course Dr. Peterson caught it. It's September 2024 and we live far away now, but still go to Dr. Peterson at Las Tunas Dee and Dr Peterson are great. Las Tunas Animal Hospital can be trusted with our precious animals!

My Purfect Pet Sitter
2780 San Pasqual Street, PasadenaWe hired Karen to look after our 12-year-old abby/tabby Sonny, and his new companion, Junior. We were concerned because Junior was a fairly new rescue who was still a little jumpy. Although fairly comfortable with us, he would startle at any unexpected noise outside the house and scramble under the nearest piece of furniture, where he’d stay indefinitely until we could coax him out. We really needed to find someone to care for Sonny and Junior, who would understand them and be attentive to their individual needs.\\n\\nWe couldn’t have been any happier than we were with Karen. Not only did she take extra care to follow our intricate feeding instructions, she spent time with the cats and went above and beyond to make sure they felt attended to and loved. Junior ate and though he was wary, he felt comfortable enough not to disappear, which is huge for a kitty who’s only lived indoors for 4 months of his seven years. We couldn’t recommend Karen any more enthusiastically.

The main course and the colorful layered dessert were both highlights of our visit. I especially loved the multi-layered slice of cake, which looked just as incredible as it tasted. We will definitely be back soon.

The ice cream was thick and creamy, and the flavors were great. The waffle cone was warm which was a nice surprise, and workers were friendly. This spot is a great place for a fast and tasty sweet treat!

Their breakfast sandwiches are good and you get the option of adding different bagel spreads and vegetables which most donut shops don't offer. Their coffee doesn't taste watered down and the donuts are fresh. You might want to call ahead for breakfast sandwiches because they get busy in the morning. They don't sell lottery tickets though. Family who owns the business are very nice and hardworking. Thank you

Mt. Lowe Brewing Company
150 East Saint Joseph Street, ArcadiaThis is basically the only brewery left in the area. Three breweries closed within a year. MT. Lowe's has a variety of entertainment throughout the week, check their schedule. And the menu of beers change frequently. Just another note, they also serve wine, but not a large menu on that. And one more thing, different food trucks come on different days.
