1661 Upper Pacific Dr, WhitethornLoved it! How can a restaurant/bar in the middle of nowhere be so good? I don't know, but somehow Gyppo Ale Mill pulls it off. My partner & I were treated to great food & beverages, plus super friendly service, when we chanced upon this place. I requested a 16oz. glass of Chasing Rainbows Hazy IPA, for my drink & for my meal, I ordered the Dry-Brined Ribeye, with Chimichurri, accompanied by Shashito Peppers & a Roasted Corn Salad. Both the beer, & my entree were spectacular, no other way to put it.
My partner ordered their Gyppo Grassfed Burger
She loved the thick meat patty, packed with flavor, the fresh Brioche Bun was tasty, the fries were hot & crisp, plus she washed her food down with Gyppo's hop water, to drink, a beverage similar to sparkling water, but with its own unique taste.
When we walked in here, a live NFL game was playing, on all of the many flat screens, hanging on the walls above us, as well as a huge TV screen on the back wall.
Great oasis for food & drink, in a totally isolated area, on California's Lost Coast.
As an added treat, we passed a 2-year-old male deer, while leaving the parking lot..
