The team here goes above and beyond—not only are the cuts perfect, but they also add adorable little touches, like feathers, that make our dogs look so cute - and stylish ;) You can really tell how much they care about the animals and the work they do. Hansi and Michael are always excited to visit, which says a lot! Highly recommend Dog Gone Gorgeous to anyone looking for kind, professional, and talented groomers.

Kindness Animal Hospital
2424 CO-172, DurangoWe had a great experience at Kindness Animal Hospital, we had to take our dog in while were visiting family over thanksgiving. We had called 3 different animal hospitals for on call services in the areas and no on answered or called by expect Kindness. My dog had been having GI issues for 3 months and our vet back home was taking a conservative approach to treating the issues. Unfortunately the issues escalated during thanksgiving week and since we weren't going to be home for a week, we called Kindness and they were able to get us in during after hours. They understand that the conservative treatments weren't working and recommended some stronger medicines. Our dog was feeling better same day and symptoms have not come back since.

We decided to reach out to Dr Perkins and ask her to join our fight. We have combined western meds with homeopathy and my dog is thriving once again!! I have no words except, THANK YOU Dr! You have given my dog a fighting chance for a little longer quality of life!

Alpine Animal Hospital
2910 Main Ave, DurangoOver the last 3 years, we've seen all 3 vets for our dogs and cat. Each vet has been exceptional taking the time to make our nervous pets feel comfortable-even getting on the floor with our small dog! Each vet has been attentive to our concerns about our pets, and answers all questions to our satisfaction. Care advised (i.e. tooth cleaning, blood work) has been warranted and prices are reasonable. The staff is also helpful, giving me pointers on nail trimming, etc. It's obvious that all in the office care about providing competent and caring health care. I strongly recommend Alpine for your pet's needs.

Centennial Center, 305 S Camino Del Rio ste o, DurangoDiane does a fantastic job of walking humans through the processes involved in training their dogs. Like with any class, the more homework you do, the more you and your dog will enjoy the class and grow with each other.
The facility is clean, and since it's inside Creature Comforts, my dog already loves going there.

The entire staff is incredibly knowledgeable, and they have experience with dogs with special needs, dogs with reactivity, and more. They all very clearly LOVE dogs, and love what they do. I love when we board my dog and get to see his photo on their Instagram page. We will never board my dog anywhere else in Durango!

726 E 2nd Ave, DurangoAmazing hotel downtown durango- only a 5 minute walk from the durango and silverton train! Hotel is super clean, and staff is very helpful when you have questions or need assistance. Water stays hot which is awesome, and air conditioning and heating works well.

The shop itself is nice but a bit small inside, though there is seating available outside. I would easily rate this place a five and would go higher if that were an option.

I was disappointed the lack of squash as described on the menu but the dressing was tasty and light. The fries were good and fresh. My family got burgers, Ruben, and blt and everyone was happy with the food. The view is very beautiful with large windows but the tables inside are crowded and loud. With crying kids at the next table it was extra loud. Service was friendly and fast but you order and pay at the register, informal keeps prices low. The fresh drinks were delicious, lemonade, cider, and Cherry. The market looked great but we were sad to discover it closed right when we finished eating. We would have made purchases.

48721 US-550, DurangoSuch a gem! Arrived late to the mountain and weren't sure where we'd be able to grab a decent meal on New Years Day, boy were we in for a treat! This place is so cute, cozy, and the food was delicious!! The filet mignon sliders were a hit with my kids and garlic fries (yummm), I couldn't even get a pic they scarfed them down so fast. I got a salad with filet and it was so delicious! The fire pits were roaring outside and we'll definitely be back!

225 E 8th Ave Unit C, DurangoWhat a great brewery find! Came in just before close and loved it! This nano-brewery packs some amazing beers into a cozy space. Had a flt of six and everything was on -point & true to style w/just enough skew to get a sense of the brewing artistry behind each offering. There was also a surprisingly diverse selection for the production size! They even had a collab (the Lazaro IPA w/Mancos Brewing). Nicky, the beertender, was phenomenal! Even after my 6 beer flt, he offered me a couple of samples to highlight some other styles on tap. If you like quality beers w/an anarchist ambiance (be sure to checkout the restroom!) then stop in and taste the Anarchy!
