3333 W County Rd 54G, LaporteI went to this vet to support my daughter and her husband as they put down there family dog. The staff at this vet are very compassionate and show empathy for you. Putting down a loved pet that is a significant part of the family is no easy thing to do. The vet and staff are very understanding, accommodating and could feel and understand our emotions. I feel this vet is in the business of taking care of people as well as animals. They made us feel like we are not another dollar coming in the door. Vets like this are hard to find. They have our loyalty from now on. Thank you

Ten Bears Winery
5114 N County Rd 23 E, LaporteI just don't understand how people don't know about this winery. Bill, if thats his real name, crushes it... super rad spot, cheeky owner that can relate to you immediately and has a pocketful of conversation ready. Games under the table, thankfully he has tables, chairs, outdoor area and actual vines. It's Colorado, its right off the road, its right there. Be dope and support him. Turns out he also sells local bison and beef.
If you are looking for somewhere to go please bug this guy and help out the cause. Truly a diamond in a field, in the middle of nowhere. I hate to leave a review because of the homieness of this spot but I can't be here everyday.

Vern's Place
4120 W County Rd 54G, LaporteVern's Place is my number one favorite restaurant! It's rustic western atmosphere with delicious American comfort food is a dream! You can never go wrong with the chicken fried steak! It will feed you for multiple meals for a reasonable price! The staff are also always so friendly here!
