11490 Sheridan Boulevard, WestminsterMy 9 month old German Shepherd was experiencing pretty extreme discomfort in his right leg that had gotten worse on a Friday night. Our normal vet is closed on Saturdays, but I called several other vet clinics who were rude and happy to turn us away. From the first call to Arrowhead the staff was friendly and made arrangements for us to get an appointment the same day, and actually asked me what was wrong with my dog. Dr Griffin could not have been kinder and diagnosed my pup without needing to do x-rays or any other extreme measures. Everyone was kind and helpful, the clinic was clean, and they are reasonably priced. I’d highly recommend if you need a vet to get your sick or injured animal looked at!!

While every veterinary cardiologist in the Denver area was booked 4-6 weeks out, when I explained the dire situation, Choice Vet Specialists and Dr. Carroll Loyer managed to fit her in. We couldn’t be more impressed and thankful for the excellent care and compassion of both Dr Loyer and his entire staff. After 6 hours in their care, Zoe is so much better. Her treatment protocol is complex and Dr Loyer and his staff both explained everything until we understood and encouraged us to call anytime we have concerns or questions. This is veterinary care at its best!

Liberty Animal Hospital
5250 W 113th Ave, WestminsterThis animal hospital and staff is a 5 star all the way. I was told my dogs leg needed to be amputated. There was necrotic tissue and a broken leg. The surgeon save the leg and healed the tissue damage. ❤️
Today my other dog had her first visit here and again perfect care. The vet took her time to examine her throughly, explain and demonstrate how to give the treatment needed.
Liberty is amazing in so many ways. The staff is top notch. Also much more affordable. Thank you Liberty for all your care, wisdom and support through a rough time.

14265 Orchard Pkwy Ste 100, WestminsterWe have been taking our pup here for a couple of years, and he is always treated with utmost patience and kindness. Today, Whiskey just did not want to get out of the car when he realized he was going in to the vet. After 20 minutes trying to cajole him, we asked the staff for help and boy, did they turn up! They walked out to the lot to check his vitals and the doc was ready to come out as well. Eventually Whiskey was won over and did go in because of the patience and positive reinforcement shown to him. This is the kind of support you need from caregivers as our animals try to navigate this scary world created by humans. Deeply deeply appreciative of everyone involved!!

He would bark uncontrollably at anyone who would approach him or me and any chance he would get, he’d run off and would just think it was a game when we’d try to get him to come back to us. We love to camp and On previous camp trips we would have to leave him locked in the camper constantly due to his bad behavior and manners. We just had our first camp trip with Archie since he completed his 4 week training. Roughly 68 people and 10 dogs of various sizes and breeds. Archie did absolutely amazing. Everyone we had previously camped with, continuously complimented how impressed they were with his transition. He didn’t bark unnecessarily , he was able to be off leash at the campsite and wouldn’t run off, and he got along with all the other dogs. He was able to just be a dog and it made my camp trip so much more relaxing and enjoyable. He even chased butterflies/birds and I swear I could see him smiling. Thank you K9 Revolution!

My dog is older now so she needs more frequent rest breaks which they accommodate, and they also administer her medication. They take such good care of the dogs there! Also booking the suite is great, I love being able to see my dog on the camera in there.

The noodle was crispy on top with a somewhat thicker texture sauce underneath. The BBQ meats had good flavor, but the pork was a bit dry and the roast duck didn't have much meat on it, mostly skin and bone. Good portions for the price, even had leftovers to take home. The place is casual for a laid-back meal

Came in for a birthday party, had some food and beverages, and played games for 2 hours before and after the party.
The kids were entertained for a while, and the food was ok, as was the beer.
There are a few claw games, which are a straight up rip off. You pay 50 cents, $1 or $2 for a chance at some pretty crummy prizes, but one of the claws doesn't go down far enough to even grab a toy (which you dont know until after you've tried to grab something), and the others are packed so tightly that even when you do grab something, it definitely isn't coming out. Of course you have to try, and the kids try until they're broke because they don't know any better, but this is the most egregious setup I've seen for claw games.
Video games are over priced also, for $2 you get one play? Come on.
We won't be back.

Westminster Hills Open Area Dog Park
10499 Simms St, WestminsterSuch a gem for the local community. I heard the city wanted to shut down this park, but a group of locals saved it. This park is literally the only thing you have going on for you that separates this area from every other soulless suburb of Denver.
When we come to visit greater Denver area, I specifically choose to stay in the neighborhood because I know that we can take our dog here for a walk. I would much rather stay in Boulder because it’s a nicer city but this park makes all the difference, it’s amazing.
The city should be using it as a selling point to attract people who like to run with their dogs, walk with their dogs, people who want to live in Karen-free environment. This could be the beacon of Hope for everyone who wants to have freedom in their life.
Instead of looking for short term financial gain from building condos, look at the 300 year horizon and think of what Denver would look like when everything is a suburb, but this is still a park.
This could be the same attraction as the Central Park is an attraction for New York City. It’s a great thing you have going on, protect it.
Dog-friendliness: Grand open space where dogs can run off leash for hours.
