“We really liked our 1 bedroom suite. We had a balcony, which was nice. We knew we had a full kitchen going into the trip, but were pleasantly surprised to see it was pretty well stocked with the essentials to be able to cook/eat while there. The valet was seamless. We would call for our car in the room and walk down and most times it was sitting there waiting for us. 24 hour valet too, which was nice for our early mornings and late nights. No complaints, and we would likely stay here again if we decide to come back.”
“Lovely hotel in heart of coconut grove. Staff and vibe is super classy and hip. Stayed here multiple times and will continue to visit. Great garden breakfast/lunch area along with rooftop restaurant bar & pool with view of the ocean . This is a do not miss location due to thier attention to detail and high service levels. ( take an uber rather than rent a car , parking is the only challenge lol)”

Super clean room, comfortable bed, great shower, with shampoo and conditioner, thankful for the shuttle, the driver was great, getting to the shuttle at the Miami Airport was CRAZY! alot of traffic, we had a good driver that new what he was doing, we were also provided with a ride to the cruise port, breakfast was good, basic eggs, potatoes, waffles, oatmeal ect.... Great stay for us, wouldn't stay anywhere else but Hampton (Hilton)”

“We celebrated our anniversary here last weekend, and it was one of the most thoughtful and memorable hotel experiences we’ve ever had. I’ve been looking forward to writing this review ever since we returned. Our experience was exceptional from the moment we arrived.
This was our first stay, and the recent renovation is truly impressive. The property is beautiful, our room was outstanding, and every restaurant we visited exceeded expectations. But what truly made our anniversary unforgettable was the staff.
Everyone we encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. Gus gave us a warm welcome and helped with transportation, Francine at the front desk checked us in and surprised us with an anniversary card and balloon display in our room, Robert from concierge was incredibly helpful, Brandon at Dune was an outstanding and attentive server, Christina at Paralia was very kind and friendly and treated us to a lovely anniversary dessert, and Josh at the beach took excellent care of us throughout our stay.
The highlight of our staff experience was Karen, the hostess at Dune. She went far beyond what we could have imagined—welcoming us warmly, sharing details about the resorts restaurants, bringing champagne to toast our anniversary, and chatting with us personally and being so warm, welcoming and friendly overall. Before we left for the beach, she took a photo of us. The next day, as we stopped by to thank her and say goodbye before checking out, she surprised us with a framed print of that photo and a handwritten anniversary card. It was one of the most thoughtful gestures we’ve ever experienced while traveling.
Each year we choose a new romantic getaway in Florida, but after this experience, it will be very difficult not to return. This resort—and especially its extraordinary staff—made our anniversary truly unforgettable.”
“Very posh public spaces with an old-school glamour. The location is prime, of course, and is tucked away off of Collins Ave behind lush foliage. The lobby boasts gold-leafed Egyptian-like colums, in fact there is gold everywhere, and the walls boast some very interesting murals.
The front staff was very nice - excluding the valet/doorman. It is not a club - it is a luxury hotel.
The drinks were very good and should be at those pricepoints, and the pool/tiki area is awesome. Will go back to eat.

“Beautiful views off 10th floor! Breakfast was def something we looked forward to! Thank you to Miriam, Ona and Carolina for they amazing service! Room cleaning service 10/10. Such a pleasant scent as soon as you step in to the hotel and all around. We came for surgery and it was perfect walking distance for us so it worked great, nearby stores as well so it was great. Would recommend 100%!”

“It's about what you'd expect from a Hampton Inn. Good front desk staff and great cookies, good hot breakfast. Pool was small, and hot tub was closed off. Room was fine, bed was not very comfortable (very firm if that's your thing), pillows were soft, plenty of seating, TV is decent size for room. Shower was great, actually surprising me how modern it was compared to the rest of the room, though towels were scratchy. Digital key never came through in the app, but physical keycards worked fine. Not really any sort of a view given its location and only being six floors. It's no luxury hotel, but you shouldn't expect that either for the price point ($300 for a Monday in January).”
“I seriously have to give the biggest shout-out to Agustin and Daniel Vallet at The Gale Hotel (159 NE 1st Ave). These two are absolute gems.
Agustin was nothing but patient, kind, and genuinely helpful from the second I walked in. You can tell he actually cares about people and loves what he does — he went above and beyond without me even having to ask. Truly one of those rare “solid human beings” you just don’t meet often anymore.
And Daniel… what an angel. He helped me out in a moment when most people would’ve brushed it off, but he showed nothing but compassion and calm energy. Super thoughtful, super understanding — just a total sweetheart.
Together, these two made my experience here 10x smoother. Hotels can be gorgeous, but it’s the people who make a place unforgettable, and Agustin and Daniel are exactly that. If you’re staying at the Gale, trust me — you’re in the best hands.”

Lots of planes fly over, but the rooms are decently quiet.Walkability: Most restaurants are 1+ miles away. They do offer a free shuttle to local restaurants, grocery, stores.”

“Everyone has their own opinions and experiences I can only speak on my behalf. Me and my husband went on a cruise out of Miami MSC Cruise line. On our way down from Virginia to Miami we had a delay with our train which put us 3 hours behind. When we got close to the nearest train station near the hotel, I called the hotel. Because I didnt make a payment I was about to lose the room. I wish I got the receptionist name I believe it was Alex...I hope Im not saying it wrong, so instead of us losing the room he kindly sent me a form through email to make a payment while I was on the train. My intentions were to make a payment once I arrived. My husband and I arrived so late. Some things are out of our control. So after a long day, we arrived at the hotel and we were settled in. So I thank you!! Also I want to thank Adrian, his drivers Tito & Victorino for being their in our time of need when we were leaving to get back home!..I want to thank you!! Next time we come back to Miami we are coming back to see you all!!! Will come back?...YES!!! So thank you all for going above and beyond getting us to and from destination and being there for Us!!!”
“Truly impressed and enjoyed my quick stay here. The young lady at check-in, don’t remember her name but I know she went to FAU, she was absolutely amazing and super helpful in making sure my stay was perfect. Loved the lounge as an elite member, and the amenities were one of a kind - a full basketball court, rooftop pool, game room & bowling were such a bonus to this property. Valet was easy, be sure to request your vehicle ahead of time using the phone number they provide. The room was very spacious with high ceilings, along with the most comfortable bed and roomy bathroom with a tv at the sink! Will happily stay here again and recommend to others.”
“After spending a frustrating day with cancelled flights, we needed to find lodging. The young lady on the phone was ery kind and welcoming and the price was very good for a large very nice room. The complimentary breakfast was among the very best we've seen. The daytime staff were as kind and friendly as those at night. I would highly recommend this hotel.”
