In my opinion, it is worth driving down to Chinatown (especially after dark at night) just for this spectacular artistic masterpiece. The statue of Buddha sits in a meditative state in a front and central centerpiece. And, of course several dragons guard Buddha and the colorful, joyful lanterns. I highly recommend a special early evening visit after dark for the sharp, colorful display. It is truly awe inspiring. Come visit. “Charles Schwab has been my stock brokerage since... basically this year. Started with Scottrade which was acquired by TD Ameritrade, which was recently acquired by Charles Schwab.With almost everything being done online or over the phone, there's not a whole lot of need to go to the office. Though there are times when having face to face interactions and direct communication is much more better.This new Charles Schwab office is located along Bishop Street, right before Queen Street at the street level of the Davies Pacific Center. This building has a parking garage, but not sure if there's validation. If not, there's metered parking around. The newly constructed office is super clean, bright, and welcoming, of course.I had an issue that just needed better clarification because communicating through emails and phone calls (which you need to WAIT and WAIT and WAIT) was just not getting anything done. The time zone was an issue, and some people just don't have phone voices (and Aloha spirit).Luckily the team at Charles Schwab were very helpful and patient. The receptionist was exceptional. Friendly, kind, patient, and very helpful in getting the assistance I needed. Their team helped me double check everything to make sure all documents were filled correct and all supporting documents were included.Needlessly to say, everything went smoothly. I'm glad this office is here with an amazing team to guide and assist me in making sure the process is done right the first time.”

Once in line there are tellers on both right and left sides to eaiy for the next available. Quick and easy. Logan assisted me today, greeted upon sending the tube and thanked me for waiting and acknowledged hed be right with me. He was quick with the transaction and very friendly! Parking is parse. 6 stalls, 1 handicap. As long as everyone parks good, there should be no problem getting into a stall.”

“Financial transactions in Honolulu, Hawaii...My cousin needed a new debit card from American Savings Bank (ASB). I knew about this location because I kept looking at it from across the street last year when our Jaycee group participated in the Dragon Boat Races at Aala Park. Besides being one of the sponsors, ASB also had a very spirited team! I told my cousin that we should go to this Aala Park "Campus" location because it had free covered parking and is a new building! Yes... the interior is very pleasant and clean. There was an employee in the parking structure - acting like a guard and/or guide. Inside, another employee asked if we needed help - I think he was screening us for possible loitering because we were chatting on one of the sofas.Well - it was a successful visit. My cousin was able to finish his transactions successfully. If he needs to return, I would choose this Campus Branch again.”

Even though I no longer live in Hawaii, with online banking, shared branching, and their call center, having access to my account is not an issue. It's great having HFCU as a competitive option for my saving and financing needs. I first opened my account at HFCU in high school at their branch near the commissary on Hickam AFB. In addition to opening my account, the member service representative assisting me at the time was incredibly helpful in explaining what makes a credit union different from a bank for a scholarship essay. “I was in the area last Friday and had to make a pit-stop at this particular branch to take care of business. I arrived -- should anyone need verification of doing said business, I was there between 9:20am and 9:30am -- shortly after the branch had just opened at 9:00am. This branch has parking in a parking structure with a height clearance of 6'8" that my full-sized lifted vehicle will clearly not fit in but there were parking stalls alongside to the right before the parking garage. However, most of the outside stalls were coned off, for whatever reason, as it was not indicated why aside from the signage stating, "For ATM and oversized vehicles." I proceeded to reverse-park in the very first stall but was waiting for two women in the next stall over as I was anticipating them to walk-off but they didn't. Rather, one of the women moved one of the other cones for me which I did so in that, now, open stall. As I got out of my car and was gathering my belongings from the back seat, I was approached by a short Asian lady, with black thick medium-length-non-flat-ironed hair, wearing jeans and a green polo, possibly a lot attendant, and in a hostile tone, greeted with, "Are you doing business at the credit union?" as she began to move the cone next to my car. She continued with, "You can park in the structure," to which I replied, "My car doesn't fit in there." She then stated, "It's 6.8." Now, for one -- I drive a lifted full-sized vehicle. I am constantly wary of height clearances wherever I go. Two -- she must've mistook me as visually-impaired as if I did not see the obviously-stated, HEIGHT CLEARANCE 6'8" sign, literally one of the first signs I looked for, aside from the "Hawaii USA" upfront. Three-- 6.8 does NOT equate to 6'8" LOL !! Anyhow, ended up doing the "business at the credit union" that needed to be done. Thankfully, as I walked into the branch there were two available tellers with such warm and welcoming attitudes, the complete opposite as the woman I first encountered. The teller was courteous, friendly, patient and professional. **Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere if your vehicle will not clear 6.8.... I mean 6 ft 8 inches... as there is no other designated parking to do so** The stars apply to my pleasant experience with the teller. Negative stars for the ill-mannered lot attendant.”

I now have a safety deposit box a savings account and a checking account every time I go in the bank I am treated like family I have seen first-hand them treat everyone with so much respect. regardless of how much money they have in their account everyone gets treated with the same amount of respect. definitely my type of place today Dustin was able to connect with us we were able to chat just a little bit about a good certificate of deposit (CD). “I have a business account with CPB and use this branch almost exclusively. The bank itself is good, but this location has a large lobby with a Starbucks and Aloha Beer Co. There is a workspace with large tables which are great for impromptu meetings or if you just need to get some quick work done.”
