She gives no resistance to climbing into her aunties arms, and she allows them to do her nails, shampoo, and a slight trim every six weeks. They are so professional and kind and best of all they help the rescue agencies. Wonderful place!

45-773 Kamehameha Hwy, KaneoheI switched my dog from aloha to Haiku and couldn’t be more happy and relieved by the difference. This is actually the best vet I’ve ever experienced. (We had two on the mainland as well.) One of my dogs has a chronic disease and the vet she saw here has Extensive Knowledge on the cause, treatment and expectations of the disease, which is an absolute first in my experience. Everyone is super friendly and accommodating, as well. The admin is extremely on top of things. They are so organized and pro-active. My pets aren’t the easiest to manage health-wise (luckily they’re my best buddies) and Haiku offers the support I need with them. I’m used to having to wrestle with vets over necessities vs cost, unreliable record keeping, and/ or vets who have lost their zest for caring for pets. To say I’m relieved to have found Haiku Vet is an understatement.

Marie gave us information to begin to understand our puppy’s behavior, tools to de-escalate her exuberance and stay safe, and unwavering support as we learned a new way of training beyond the choke chain, and of perceiving and interacting with our brilliant, sensitive, inquisitive puppy. It was a challenge, the ups and downs of the process, but Marie never wavered, always welcomed our reports of success, failure and our frustrations with understanding, wisdom and new tools, and prioritized our safety at all times as she stressed respect and agency for our pup as a separate being. We all grew and gained trust and confidence and our relationships deepened as a result. We unreservedly recommend Marie to anyone seeking a smart, experienced, credentialed, equable, compassionate dog trainer.

Both times I had the kalua pig and lau lau combo, and both times it was SO GOOD! Both dishes were tender, moist, and bursting with flavor! I'm back home in CA daydreaming about this dish right now, lol! Customer service is quick and friendly, and honestly, this strip mall has to have one of the most gorgeous strip mall views anywhere on earth! I'll make sure to visit again next time I'm in Oahu!

The pancit is the best I have ever had, full of veggies, meat and flavors! The lechon was crispy on the outside, flavorful and juicy inside and cut fresh to order with a tomato and onion slaw that balances all the flavors. An order of the made to order lumpia was the perfect companion. And I can't leave without a kalamansi tea! It's like an Arnold Palmer but perfectly balanced. They have tons of other food that I need to try, but passing up my regular is too hard!

That's why we attempt to gather on a holiday. The next obstacle is: where to meet. Yummy Huli Huli Chicken was chosen because none of us had ever been there. Located in Waikane (pass Ahuimanu if you're driving from Kaneohe), you might be able to see the smoke from the outdoor rotisserie and smell the fragrance of the chicken along the road. The restaurant is actually inside of Coral Kingdom, a rather famous souvenir/gift shop. There were many seats in this clean, spacious place. The restroom was at the back of the gift shop. We ordered at the counter and others ordered at the kiosk. Staff were very friendly and helpful! The Aloha Spirit is truly present! I ordered a half of a chicken. It was moist and tender, but not how I imagined hulihuli chicken would taste. We had a lot of hulihuli chicken fundraisers in the past and I believe we experienced more of a teriyaki-ish sauce with ginger and garlic. This Huli Huli Chicken may be more suited to foreign palates, instead of local residents' tastes. We had a great time anyway! Thanks for the welcoming hospitality!

They were both nervous at first but eventually warmed up as they trusted me, and then they wouldnt let me do anything alone. Leia was the sweetest kitty I've come across, she loved car rides, going on adventures belly rubs and sleeping in my lap, i miss her so much.Thank you Joey Feline's Friends for my best friends ❤️
