I've never had a dog that required grooming and was a bit concerned how he'd be with new people. I expressed this and was met with understanding and reassurance that it's fine.Everything was EASY... from setting up an appointment to discussing the process and pricing all the way to drop off and pick up.Everything was explained to me when I dropped him off even down to what I could expect to see when it comes to his behavior after his hair is gone.The work done in this hidden gem is truly magical.I wish I had done it sooner.My little Gofie(goh-fee) Guy is transformed!!! I love it.We will definitely be back.

Great customer service, fair prices compared to everyone else in the area (even ones that claimed to be the cheapest, but tried to charge hundreds for things we didn't need), and efficient. I already thought they were awesome, but then when it was time to move off island they were even more amazing! They helped me plan appts accordingly, and they filed my animals paperwork for the airport with individual name tabs (because I have 4 animals). It was very helpful. Thanks for everything!

98-199 Kamehameha Hwy B10, AieaMy friend and I flew in today and are flying out tomorrow morning. She said we need Poke! So after looking up reviews and hearing good things about Monarch ..we were on our way! A short Uber ride later we ended up in this little place with huge portions of different kinds of Poke. I am not a a spicy type eater so the poke nachos I had were perfect and the Ube cheese cake delicious. So fresh! I'm glad we found this hidden gem and I hope you find it too!

USCG Hideaway Club
1 Coral Sea Rd, KapoleiWhat a treat to be able to visit the the Hideway Club at The US Coast Guard Base in Kapolei. It is truly a gem that is hidden away. The bar is small but opens up to views around the base. The bartenders and servers were great. The bar is fully stocked. The drinks were spot on. There are TVs to watch games. I look forward to my next visit.

Located Inside Da Crabshack, 590 Farrington Hwy, KapoleiThe food was excellent. The flavors were excellent. They really know how to prepare their poke. All super fresh. I even enjoyed the conversation with the owner who explained more about the new state of things regarding collecting seaweed/limu. Seems getting limu in your poke was not as easy as it used to be. Don't take good food for granted people! Enjoy!

Came to Oahu and we could smell something grilling that was so good from the parking lot. Ordered the inasal chicken and noodles and both were delicious smokey goodness.

Toriyama, Ribs and Beer
500 Kamokila Blvd, KapoleiTasty meal before grocery shopping! We ordered the shrimp tempura udon and fried gyoza, and surprisingly the soup had bits of steak in it too. The broth is also very hot, so we used the extra paper bowl we asked for to pour it into so we could cool it off before eating. The shrimp was crispy, the gyoza was a nice snack, and overall it was a nice and warm meal during the cooler weather. It took us a moment to realize that you order on the self service kiosk since the staff didn't mention anything or it wasn't very obviously visible. There are plenty of tables and seats at the food court, and we were able to check out the other vendors while we waited for our food to be ready. A good tip to know is that you can also enter Don Don Donki through the food court entrance and you don't only have to go through the main entrance.

Hands down, the best poke bowls I’ve ever had. The tuna was unbelievably fresh, perfectly seasoned, and so delicious that I completely forgot to take a picture—I was way too busy savoring every bite. Truly unforgettable poke!
They also have the best açaí bowls ever—fresh, flavorful, and refreshing, especially perfect in Hawaii. My kids couldn’t get enough of the food either. Their pizza was one of their favorites, and the French toast was a huge hit as well.
As for me, my go-to breakfast was the salmon breakfast bagel… and wow—to die for. Perfectly balanced, filling, and so satisfying.
Ulu Café has something for everyone, whether you’re craving a quick bite, breakfast, or an amazing poke bowl. Quality, flavor, and variety are all top-notch. I can’t recommend it enough—we kept coming back again and again

Only 2 service persons but they were greatly efficient and felt no problem or stress. Highly recommended place when feeling Asian taste.
