Dr Trip he's very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. You can tell he is a total animal lover who truly cares about your pet. I feel like some veterinarians just "do their job" and don't really care about getting to know your pet. My baby Harley adores Dr Trip and always gives him "the lean." he doesn't do that to just anybody. He also talks to your dog not just you. When we pull in he is always excited to go in the door. How many people can say that about their pet when they're going to the doctor. You don't need to look any further and don't need to research for any other veterinarian. Dr Trip is it!

Dr. Williams called us after the procedure and kept us informed at every step of the way. Our cat developed some symptoms while in recovery, which Dr. Williams took very seriously. We are SO GRATEFUL for her attentiveness and genuine kindness. We felt very confident that he was in good hands with Dr. Jeanine Williams. Highly recommend this clinic!

1589 N Quentin Rd, PalatineDeer Grove Animal Hospital is one of a kind! We’ve been visiting Dr. Flahaven and his team for 5+ years and we always look forward to our appointments.
When my childhood dog was declining in her old age, they were so accommodating for emergency visits and I will always appreciate how thorough, honest, and empathetic Dr. Flahaven was during that time.
Since then, the team has been so excited to meet and love on all of our new additions! The front desk and vet techs are some of the sweetest people ever. They treat all of my pets like they are their own. I have a pretty nervous rescue pup. He’s 3 years old now and he’s never shown any signs of stress at Deer Grove. I think he really does look forward to it!
Lastly, I just wanted to share some of the adorable things I overheard the vet techs saying to my new kitten while they were literally cleaning gross ear mites out of her ears because it made my day how sweet they were being to her.

“We need to be more like this kitten”
“Oh this kitten!!!”

Overall the time we took him there we were very happy with the staff/owner and services. We also appreciated the flexibility of when we could bring him. Eventually we brought his brother a few times which he loved too! We were sad to move as we could no longer bring them. Thank you again to everyone at Doggie Playhouse! Highly recommend! There is plenty of space, so we've never really had to wait to sit (even with large parties), but the restaurant does get pretty busy. One big thing to note, this place is cash only. We love getting #27 (grilled pork chop with honey sausage). The pork chop is tasty, decent portions. You can pour this sweet sauce over your rice. And my kids always love the honey sausage. Another go to is #25, the Bun combo shrimp, lemongrass pork, and egg roll. Pour that same sweet sauce over this noodle and mix! It's mixed with chopped lettuce which makes the dish a room temperature meal. Noodle and meat/shrimp/eggroll are hot, but the lettuce is cold. I probably didn't make that sound good but it's a really good combination. We also get different types of Pho here. You can pretty much get whatever combination of meat you want even though that combination is not listed. Staff is friendly here. Wish it were a little brighter though.

I recommend calling to make an appointment if you are in search of a kitten or cat. There are many that need a forever home.

Second City Canine Rescue
570 N Smith St, PalatineIt's only been 2 weeks since I adopted Capone (Cappy) .Lori and the staff. Were great. I was looking at a few different dogs. And after talking with Lori. Cappy was the best choice. They listen to what i wanted and found me a buddy. They really CARE ABOUT THE DOGS, and want to find the best match. And they did.!!!! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.. Talk with them and you'll get a great out come.
