“This is an unassuming yet wonderful grocery store on the east side of Baltimore County. The bakery is ferociously fabulous. It’s not all shiny and fancy so prices are reasonable.”
“Edison Super Market is a fantastic one-stop shop for all your needs! They have a wide range of drinks, and even specialty items like tobacco, vape, CBD, and THC products. The store is well-stocked and organized, making it easy to find what you’re looking for. I love how convenient it is with their 24-hour availability, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Whether you’re running errands or grabbing something quick, this place has you covered. Highly recommend checking them out!”
“I really enjoyed this location the ptoduce was extremely fresh and had some really unique items . In addition i would like to acknowledge an awesome employee named Cotina. She was extremely helpful answered any questions i had and even provided some great meal suggestions. She was really kind and patient and has extensive product knowledge and exhibits a warm and friendly demeanor. She is a jewel and and sets a great example. I will definitely be back”
“Leon and Lindsey at the deli are super friendly and helpful! Highly recommend this deli! These guys have a good vibe and make it a very fun experience!
I just wish the prices were a little more economical. This grocery store is pretty high in cost compared to Weis markets or some other competitors.”
“The place was just lovely and well organized, and the owners could not have been any more pleasant than what they were. The meats and other goods were fresh and looked delicious.”

“Despite it being Thanksgiving week, everything was organized and put away, staff was attentive and checked us out easily, I love going to this Lidl’s :) glad to see that it’s not a mess like it usually is”
“One of the only stores I’ve been to in Baltimore that has vital wheat gluten, TVP, agar agar, soy curls, vegan premade sandwiches, harder to find Asian sauces, produce, lions mane mushrooms and more!”
“Secret spot for the BEST Greek food. Fresh olives by the pound and fresh feta cut to order. Once you start coming here, you'll be hooked. When the fresh bread comes out- scoop it up quick. They also have Greek wines and Ouzo.”
“Used to go to this market with my neighbors frequently. It has always been clean. I used to go to get my onion pickles in a jar. Great price for them. But I recently ordered 100 piece fried chicken for my birthday party and it was delicious. I even called to change my time 2 days before pick up, and they were fine with it. Cashiers are just a bit tired & lifeless looking every time I go. lol like, no, hey , how are you doing type of interaction. they just ring your stuff up and hand you your receipt and out the door you go.”
“Good selections but very inconsistent. Many things appear and then disappear from shelves, not to be restocked. Deli counter is very mixed. About half the offerings are very cheaply prepared, e.g. chicken pot pies with almost NO CHICKEN, extremely expensive crab cakes. Good bakery section. Produce usually good. Some prices are ridiculously high which is most aggravating. Looking for a better market....”
“Hat Mart is our family's go-to snack place! We get everything we need - from popcorn and candy, to milk and toilet paper. We never pass up a chance to go to Hat Mart. This is the BEST family owned business! Ali and and his family are very welcoming.”
“I've been coming to this place for years now, because of the distance, it's a monthly trip for me. Today service was exceptional. Two ladies behind the counter were very helpful. I don't remember seeing them before, and if they are new employees I hope they stay.”

“Don't let the down-and-out atmosphere of the immediate neighborhood stop you from checking out this grocery store and adjacent butcher shop. A few days ago I stopped by to pick up some fresh, high-quality lamb meat and medjool dates, both at good prices. They also sell camel's milk and some other hard-to-find imported goods.”

“Great store with a great selection. I got a whole cart of groceries for $100! You can’t beat that nowadays. Of course, there are some shady characters in the parking lot, but overall a good experience.”
“This was once the Butter-Crisp Bakery, built in 1937. It featured various Art Deco design elements, including bowed display windows, black glazed brick, and stainless steel lettering and trim. See the photo for how it appeared circa 1984.”
“This Giant is pretty good, but it was so small, now that it is remodeled so much more space. I wasn’t extremely impressed by the lady at the sushi bar- she was rude as hell when I asked her question but I wont dwell on it. Overall pretty good, shelves stay stocked, again more space, and every cashier I’ve met is so nice and sweet!”

“This is a very good and affordable place to get ingredients. They have many hard to find items like fresh lemongrass, coconut kaya, shrimp pastes, dry beancurd, so many kinds of noodles, snacks, sticky rice, sweet rice flour, frozen durian, chrysanthemum tea, lots of frozen dim sum, frozen pandan leaves, and a big selection of pickles, seaweed and canned/dried goods. They DO have fresh choy sum, gai lan, daikon, and fresh Vietnamese herbs, fruit and fresh soy milk etc. They also have a huge bulk spice selection including many Indian spices. They have been open in Baltimore for thirty years!!! Lastly, they have a big selection in the back of bulk ingredients, affordable cooking equipment including woks that are big enough for opening a restaurant with
Edit: New management has really stocked all the shelves and added more fresh fruit and Chinese/Asian veg section. Very friendly staff, and worth supporting this great local business! ?”
“I had to speak to the manager of the front end the cashiers about a female that was working the pizza bar but the manager on the other hand handle the situation well and said he would speak to her when I came the next day the light-skinned female with the dreadlocks were still ranting and raving she needs to be fired however the front end manager handle it well he was very business-oriented”
“I lived for years in Sarasota, Florida near a Fresh Market. Even when a Whole Foods opened directly across the street, Fresh Market was still my market of choice for gourmet foods. Because of health issues I moved to Columbia, Maryland to be close to Johns Hopkins Hospital. Unfortunately the nearest Fresh Market is about 30 miles away. Columbia is the type of community that can well afford to support a Fresh Market even though all the other gourmet and regional chains are close by. Please consider placing a store in Columbia, Maryland. You won’t be sorry!”
“I love this particular gaint cashiers and staff is very respectful the morning shift 6am is better and shout to the lady at the deli I wish I knew her name she always make sure I get what I need even when they not open yet I really appreciate her…”
“Love this store, as a Bajan have been looking for my favorite groceries since moving to MD from NYC this place has all that I look for Shirley Biscuits, Hot Sauce, and they are friendly.”
“Aldi and their employees are always wonderful. The only downside to this location at Belair and Frankford is a lot of entitled people shop here. They won't say excuse me, even after bumping into you, have their music or conversations playing out loud for all to hear, and never have their payment ready. At least one of these things happens everytime at this location. Think of other people shoppers. Geez.”

“I found the trip to and from this highly recommended store very long, but the shopping experience was great! I found so much that I had not seen in years, and often a variety of choices. I had planned to make Bengali food for Thanksgiving , but bought so enthusiastically that I was still cooking a week later!”
“I came in a little distraught that I had forgotten to order my son’s birthday cake. The baker was able to do a spider man cake for me with a topper. It looks amazing!”

“The store itself is a typical corner shop, but I had a concerning experience once. I bought a Fruit by the Foot and noticed it had white spots on it and the color looked different from what it normally should be. It made me question the freshness of the product.”

“The associates are the reason I come back, and the food lol. I just met Ashley and she is so kind and loving! I was walking around in the store and even though she was tired she welcomed every single person to make sure they were noticed! Something about almost every Royal farms associate I've ever met in my life have just been kind, and having the smallest ounce of kindness goes a LONG way! I feel safe in Royal Farms and at home.”
“Found what I was looking for, and it was fairly obscure, but was able to get it here. And, Patrick, the owner cultivates cacti, and I walked away with two healthy totems.”
“Always great service from the entire staff every time I stop in. This market is a definite stop for me whenever I'm in the area. It's starting to feel like these guys are part of the family.”
