“We LOVE these sandwiches! They also have frozen "take and bake" meals in the back and those have been super clutch in the past. I use their spaghetti sauce sometimes too because it's incredible. And the people in here are just awesome. Everyone is kind and welcoming. It's a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Like a little "small town" vibe in the heart of a big city. We love this place and the people in it!”

“Found many items I have not seen ever where I shopped. Found kishka where we only got to eat when visiting relatives in Pittsburgh area. . Large variety of perogi. Many breads and baked sweets. I'm glad I was able to find years b4 my parents departed. My Dad is 1st gen American. And my Mom 3rd. So it was nice to buy things of my and my parents youth. If you haven't ate kishka try it. You'll love it.”

“Ok, it would be hard to make this your single-stop grocery shopping experience. However there are many positive things that should make you add this to your list of favorites. The deli counter always has fresh cold cuts and can make a mean sandwich while you shop too. They have fresh sushi and other items entrees there too. The meat counter has been very accommodating and has good quality products. The dairy, produce and frozen sections has a surprisingly large selection of great items and the price is higher-but not outrageous. You will pay a little more, but I find it usually and easy in/out if you are worried about time or not looking for general household items.”

“Our condo building recently switched to a new electronic key fob entry system but the contractor who installed it didn't program any spare fobs. After contacting several locksmiths, we found one who was very knowledgeable about our specific system. He came on-site and accurately programmed new fobs for all residents at a very fair group rate. It was a seamless process and really helped improve building security.”

“Haven't been there yet but my teacher brought me some Russian snacks from your store and I gotta admit I loved the taste of the snacks! I especially loved the Russian version of the Kit Kats (I thinks they are called "Bears in a forest" or something.) But I loved the candy! Definitely would recommend your candy to anyone looking for international treats!”

“Friendly staff and always has everything I need. Just steer clear of the homeless guy that sits out front with his dog. It was about 11 at night and he asked me and my girlfriend if he could come sleep in our house. Not sure what his intentions were but he gave bad vibes that night.”

“Love this place for all my vape and tobacco needs. Has everything in a city store. Cheaper than 7-11 next door! The owner & staff are always there to make sure you get what you want. Great selection of tubes and tobacco!!! Will keep coming back! It's in a dicey neighborhood as it's next to Pal Recovery and you will see people noded out on the sidewalks. (Only downside) other than that I give it 5 stars for being super cool ?!!!”

“Paul is the proprietary owner operator and is a positive retailer in this community. He always gives people the benefit of the doubt if they are short of a bit of money and let's it slide and is pleasant and professional. I often visit the store for snacks and things I may forget at the giant I shop at. Great place except for the crowd that hangs out at the door. Only problem with that is that they sometimes ask if I would like to buy drugs but other than that there harmless, I guess..”

“This is a little small Hispanic store it has a Western Union in it and the folks there are very pleasant and very helpful and it also has a meat section in the back so I recommend if you're on Lombard and want good deal on drinks and snacks and pretty much just a little bit of everything in here it's a good place to do shopping”

“Solidly 3.5 stars but I bumped to four because we make the trek for weekend donuts with very little hesitation! The scratch bakery on its own is pretty extensive. It's always felt a bit crowded to me even when it isn't extremely busy, which I attribute to the densely packed shelves and the aisles themselves feel narrower than the standard. That said, checkout is usually quick and staff throughout the store have occasionally been personable, too.”

“Wonderful assortment of culinary delights. Chicken kebobs and beef salad are awesome. Hearty breads, dairy items, and vegetables. Very different that what you'd find in a typical grocery store. “Only one thing could have been better, and that was the cashier's attitude.. for whatever reason, my total wasn't displayed on the screen and when I asked about it, I was told to swipe my card, I did so, thinking that the amount would appear, but it did not. Instead, my total was approved... At $15 more than I wanted to spend at that point... Just a small thing, really...But it's the little things that mean a lot.”
