“I have been shopping at Susanna's for over thirty years. I love the variet.y, quality, and style of the clothing. The sales staff and Amy, the owner, are fabulous: attentive, honest, super well acquainted with the merchandise, and incredibly helpful. The atmosphere is friendly and comfortable. It is a great place to shop.”
“Good products and great customer service. Nick helped me make a decision with confidence, walked away with a much needed equipment upgrade. Thank you! 🙏”
“Fantastic collection of beautiful things! I could have stayed here all day!! MK seals the wonderful energy in the shop! Very helpful and warm, knows her merchandise and artists well and took all the time I needed to learn what I was buying, who made it, where it came from etc., which will forever be a part and f the priced I chose and make them them all the more special to me! And she did all that with multiple customers in the shop. We all got treated like we were the only ones there.
Customer service is becoming a lost art, but you can find it here with MK! I am a sales coach on ho-Trch and I love and appreciate great service. I really have little tolerance these days for anything less. I would have walked out if I hadn’t been greeted and welcomed and invited to browse and ask questions. So many boutiques and shops treat you like you are a bother — there are just too many choices these days. This kind of browsing and shopping is as much about the experience as it is the treasures you choose to take home that will forever remind you of the moment, the visit, the people you met… whatever it is. Stories sell. It’s important and you will find it at Motto! Thank you MK and Motto. I will be back!”
“A breath of fresh air in the neighborhood for sure. Ran/owned by a super cool couple(the husband worked on the music for Jujutsu Kaisen) Always very friendly and welcoming. A lot of one of a kind designs done by them and also the only place around for Asian street style.”
“The perfect small shop in a wonderful neighborhood. They serve up the perfect doses of key home comforts and accessories including clothing! This little hidden gem is worth going out of your way for. Keep your eye on store hours - as any smart small neighborhood shop revolves around the traffic patterns of it's immediate community. Love Shop POD!”
“Bought two pairs of chinos here and got them tailored. Absolutely gorgeous pieces, really beautiful and exceptionally tailored. Timeless shop especially for ivy/traditional men's clothing. Do stop by!”
“If customer service were an Olympic sport, Taylor at Cambridge Mercantile would have more gold medals than Michael Phelps. From the moment I walked in, I felt like royalty being ushered into a palace of world-class service. Taylor didn’t just answer my questions, she anticipated needs I didn’t even know I had. I left the shop convinced that she could probably negotiate peace treaties, cure hiccups, and organize my entire life if given the chance. Truly, the pinnacle of professionalism and kindness wrapped into one extraordinary human. Cambridge Mercantile is lucky to have her, and frankly, so is the planet.”
“I had been looking for a dress for my girlfriend for almost an hour and couldn’t find anything. I walked into this store and in less than 10 minutes i found the perfect dress. It fit her beautifully and we were both extremely satisfied. Great service by antonela helping me out and an amazing selection. Highly recommended!”
“I started shopping here in '88. Those were my Vintage days. Then grunge and finally goth. They had EVERYTHING.I was so young / 19 - 20. I usually went to Oona's during my vintage days. It was costly as a teen though. Garment District was one of the only places I would shop 'cause they always had the correct clothing for my alternative -- grunge--goth days as well as appropriate items for work. That was so many decades ago. I miss it. It's huge & they had anything I wanted. iNo need to go to NYC!”
“Picked up a couple sweatshirts. Cute, reasonably priced. Very much a college store...no real customer service they just chill behind the counter and wait for us to bring them the items to purchase.”

“Didn’t catch his name, but had a great experience with the cashier for an afternoon return today! Had a coughing fit mid check out and he offered me water, served in the cutest/smallest Dixie cup. Much appreciated!”
“The service was excellent. I enjoyed conversing with the students from Harvard. They were so genuine and insightful. The quality of the Harvard sweatshirt I purchased is very good. I am pleased with my purchase.”

“Grace needs a raise! She was super helpful and professional helping me find some new jeans. I gained some pandemic weight and was between sizes. She made an otherwise stressful process smooth and easy!”

“The best place for used classic menswear in Boston. The Staff is knowledgeable and helpful, and items are priced reasonably. The in-house tailor is likewise quite good. Nothing bad to say about this place at all.”
“I’ve been coming here about four times now, and every time the staff has been incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They always take the time to answer my questions and make sure I have a great experience. I really appreciate the excellent customer service. Highly recommend this place!”
