    “The staff at the Harvard Square / Brattle Square Patagonia are great. Super knowledgeable, super nice. A few months ago I was trying to find a good mid-weight jacket that fit well, and they were able to help me find the right one by stepping me through the choices. Then, when they only had the bright orange one, they looked it up and found the same one in black at the Boston store. And instead of having to go there myself, Patagonia shipped it to me! Excellent products, excellent staff here. Highly recommended.”

    “Fantastic collection of beautiful things! I could have stayed here all day!! MK seals the wonderful energy in the shop! Very helpful and warm, knows her merchandise and artists well and took all the time I needed to learn what I was buying, who made it, where it came from etc., which will forever be a part and f the priced I chose and make them them all the more special to me! And she did all that with multiple customers in the shop. We all got treated like we were the only ones there. Customer service is becoming a lost art, but you can find it here with MK! I am a sales coach on ho-Trch and I love and appreciate great service. I really have little tolerance these days for anything less. I would have walked out if I hadn’t been greeted and welcomed and invited to browse and ask questions. So many boutiques and shops treat you like you are a bother — there are just too many choices these days. This kind of browsing and shopping is as much about the experience as it is the treasures you choose to take home that will forever remind you of the moment, the visit, the people you met… whatever it is. It was costly as a teen though. Garment District was one of the only places I would shop 'cause they always had the correct clothing for my alternative -- grunge--goth days as well as appropriate items for work. That was so many decades ago. I miss it. It's huge & they had anything I wanted. iNo need to go to NYC!”

    Primark added two states to its U.S. map in six days, then stalled in Augusta. The value retailer opened its first Minnesota store on Sept. 3 at Mall of America in Bloomington, close to 35,000 square feet stocked with Minnesota Vikings gear through the chain's NFL partnership. That store was its 46th in the country and put Primark in 15 states. Georgia came five days later.
