“I go to Speedway regularly, mostly to buy cigarettes, and I have to say they usually have the best prices—especially when you buy two or more packs. Their deals make it worth coming back. Gas prices only work in your favor sometimes, but for the most part, this location is convenient and easy to stop at.The employees are always kind, helpful, and courteous. They take care of customers quickly, even when it’s busy, and they make sure everyone leaves in a good mood. It’s nice to go somewhere where the workers actually treat people with respect.Overall, this Speedway is reliable, friendly, and one of the most affordable spots around for smokers and quick fuel-ups.”

“The staff here were so friendly and kind. I am on a medication that has been out of stock and on back order for a while and had been unable to fill through Express Scripts. I called this CVS and the pharmacist, Zayna, offered to add me to the waitlist for when the medication became available again. Well, this afternoon I got a text that it was ready and was finally able to get my medication! I know the store doesn’t have any control over when the shipments come in from the manufacturer but I still really appreciate her going above and beyond to put me on the waitlist since it helped to me get my medication, which has truly made my day! ?”

“I like that it's close to my house in a pinch if I forgot to get gas the night prior, but this place for whatever reason is always way more expensive than every other place around it, unless it's a holiday weekend. Then it's comparable to everything else for a couple days before the others drop the prices after the holiday. Staff are super super nice though.”

“The cups for the slurpees were cheaply made, but other than that no problems. There's always a better choice for slurppes at the Ecorse Rd location compared to the others and we never have a problem with having our pizza heated at this location compared to the other locations.”

“I just want to give a shoutout to Theresa, who I spoke to on the phone tonight (I apologize if I misheard that name!!). I picked up a prescription recently during a pretty busy time at the store, and I paid more than I expected. Didn't speak up at the time; it wasn't too much of a difference... but it was on my mind a week later, so I called and asked about it.
This amazing woman looked up my prescription from last week, ran my insurance, confirmed the lower cost for me (the system defaulted to a previously used coupon rather than my insurance, no big deal), and she let me know exactly what to do to get a refund for the difference. Thank you for taking the time to look into that for me, and for being so polite over the phone!”

“This is hands down one of the best liquor stores in Taylor. DJ, the owner, does an amazing job running the place and it really shows. Every time I come in, I’m greeted with a friendly attitude and people who actually want to help, not just ring you up and move on.
The selection is great no matter what you’re looking for—beer, wine, liquor, or something a little harder to find. If they don’t have what you want, they’re always willing to make recommendations or let you know when something might be coming in. The store is clean, organized, and easy to shop, which I really appreciate.
What sets this place apart is the customer service. DJ clearly takes pride in his store and treats customers like regulars, even if it’s your first time there. Prices are fair, the staff is knowledgeable, and the overall vibe is welcoming.
If you’re in Taylor and need a reliable liquor store with great service and a solid selection, this is the spot. I won’t go anywhere else.”
