“This was and always will be my favorite Lot Less store location. Granted, they are a discount store but there are so many fun things to buy at bargain prices. Who doesn't love a bargain? I wouldn't buy shoes or clothing here but there are some great finds at Lot Less. This particular location has a large Christmas section. I browsed here last night and purchased two very adorable Father Time/Santa miniature figurines-for the tree or just decor. Only $3.99 each. I still like their mini food section with some pretty darn good olive oils and imported sweets. Toiletries such as shampoos and body wash are usually a hit purchase. This location is spacious and orderly. Whenever I am in the area, I'll swing by and usually leave with a bag in hand. A variety of merchandise that's always changing.”

“F&A Discount Store is a pleasant surprise across the street from the 96th Street Q Subway Station. It's so new when I met the owner he said he needs to put the hours of operation on the door. He said he's open 9am to 9pm. These owners are really great. When I returned today I was greeted. I could tell he remembered me by the way he greeted me. His partner (or employee) was also nice. He said if I don't find what I need they can order it for me. This place is loaded with all the handy items you need in life. I love when I can find a shopping cart, sheets, bathroom, kitchen and laundry items all in one small store rather than travel to a big box store. I'm recommending you visit when you need something. The prices can't be beat. I feel welcome here.”

“the name dont lie folks as discount depot has plenty of health and beauty supplies, household products , snacks , nys lottery, and a bunch of other nik naks at prices cheaper then cvs , walgreens, etc. while walking by via the upper east side on 2nd ave the front window display of the many items they sell always makes me walk in to browse and pick up a few or more items. the many aisles with organized stuffed shelves has so much stuff , its hard not too find something useful , as i grabbed a few bags of sugar free lemon throat drops, lavender body lotion, extra long heavy duty laundry bag and i cant forget some lottery tickets. overall a good local neighborhood shop up the upper east side that local and non local folks will enjoy shopping at .”

One can find good deals, and who doesn't like a good deal and save some coins. Conveniently located near mass transit. I recommend you go sooner than later, because Lot-Less is closing it's locations.”

“I REALLY didn't think ? that there were ANY 99 Cents discount stores in the CITY, ?️? only because it's wasn't Far from Park Avenue (Since the area IS SO ELEGANT & VERY RICHER), & it's just a couple of blocks from the NYU DENTISTRY! But this store was just like ALL of the 99 cents discount stores in other Boroughs & the prices in this store was flexible. It was nice, & clean & a friendly cashier lady. ♀️ Somewhat kinda cozy environment in that store, (at least it was to me). The first time I shopped in there, I was SURPRISED ? that I've ended buying several things than expected! A couple of Winter ❄️ stuff, hand ???? sanitizer wipes, candy, ?? & some other stuff. The Problem was that the store didn't carry any Aro-Disinfectant sprayers or any disinfecting wipes either.☹️ Other than that, it was nice, & I DID ENJOYED shopping at the NYC Deals & 99Cents Store! ???”

“99 Cent Stores were once prolific in the City but since the pandemic they are no longer that cheap. The majority of goods sold start at $1+. However, one item still costs the princely sum of 99 cents. The Dove Bar! I specifically asked the owner about it. There is a huge sign so one cannot miss it. I frequent this store quite often as there are many items that are far cheaper than at other shops. As one enters the rows are packed to the brim neatly and nicely. Baby wipes which cost now $1.79 are nicely priced as I buy five packets at a time to clean my apartment. Some medications like the A&D cream that comes in a tube costs under $2. Now this is a bargain. Bottles are nicely priced too and so are school supplies. Detergents can be expensive though. There is even a variety of packaged food items but I don't care for them. The owners are a kind couple.”
