“The link in my email expired so I’m leaving my review here. On July 3rd I reserved a a car at the Colonie location through a third party app. When we arrived there we were informed they didn’t have any cars available. But Drew the assistant manager went out of his way to help us find another location. In the process of getting us set up at the Latham location her had a cancellation and got us in a vehicle hassle free. Our vehicle was in the shop and it wasn’t ready when we needed to bring the car back. So I called Drew and he extended our rental with no problems. We will contact Drew at the Colonie location before we go through a 3rd party app when we need to rent a car again. Thank you Drew for the outstanding customer service.”

“I’ve used Alamo a lot and always had solid service, but this was even better at the Albany location. Got in later, went to garage and used National desk to start pickup. The worker there (didn’t catch his name) was awesome. Out of the full sized cars, so gave me a minivan at no cost. He was friendly and even knew the restrictions for going into Canada. Pickup and dropoff were easy.”

“ALB Amtrak and Airport locations are convenient and the staff are phenomenal! The vehicles are very clean too. Hertz consistently claims its vehicles are clean and they are not, which is very frustrating.”

“Their location is in the parking garage kiosk outside of the Albany Airport. Although there were 4 families ahead of us, we waited maybe 10-15 minutes until we could leave with a Kia Sportage. Car was clean, smelled nice, and ran nicely. Check-in and check-out went smoothly. All encounters with staff was pleasant.”

“Rent a car for one day and the experience from beginning to end is amazing. Before renting I was actually a little bit frustrated after I saw the rate. But all my previous experience with Avis are brilliant so I decided to give it a try. The whole process is smooth except that you do have to wait as it is always a lot of people. The car is very nice, they upgrade the car from full size to minivan (not SUV what is worth to mention) when no car available by the time I pick up my car with no extra cost.
Something worth mentioning is that after returning the car, I found that I forgot something in the car the next day. Went back here and it only took me 20 minutes to get things back from the vehicle. The booth staff are so kind to help me check with his manager and other co-workers about my stuff while they are super busy. Everyone, customer service, returning staff all of them are so helpful. Manager Joe, you really are a fantastic leader and your team is amazing.
I think since the company is so popular, so it is always busy.”
