“Life Storage has been my storage facility for several years now and I have never experienced any issues with my unit or staff. In the last 6 or 8 months, they've had new management, it has a better curb appeal. It is cleaner, a lot of trash isn't in the parking lot, there aren't a lot of carts outside, and people aren't hanging around. In light of the secluded location, it makes it feel safe and comfortable. I'll definitely utilize their services again if needed.”

“2 and 1/2 years my furniture, washer dryer, books. Knickknacks, etc. were stored at the Safenest Storage Steele Creek. Was temperature control unit. Finally able to move into new place. Everything was in great shape when moved out of unit. No mold or anything Looked like had only been stored a day not years. The staff was always very helpful if needed them. Would recommend Safenest for any storage needs.”

I also did go when the company opened at 7am , amount of wait time could change throughout the day. The 16' I rented was very smooth and had USB to plug my phone for music. Highly recommend renting for this company, with a 250 mile round trip I had no issues and very smooth feeling for a bigger rental truck. Will continue to do my rentals in the future with Penske”

“These people are on top of their game let me tell you I want to go ahead and thank the owner and the employees these employees were trained to be kind and professional and they went above and beyond I was so pleased when I first came in to rent a truck I dealt with two people I'll add their names in later they were absolutely wonderful and then of course I had to come back the next day because we didn't have enough room so we got a cargo trailer and I dealt with another young lady who happened to be just as good as the two yesterday or even better what a pleasure dealing with these people thank you guys so much for making this a wonderful experience at such a hard time I hope the owner reads this and I hope he recognizes his employees because in these days some people can't even get loyal employees all I can tell you is all three of these employees stood out to be excellent and professional I'd be happy to employ them in my business”
“This location has amazing staff an I would recommend them to anyone in the Charlotte area. I called last minute 15 mins before closing Zeek answered the phone and even though he was clearly swamped with work he helped me with my reservation to the point where he even stayed past closing in order to manually make my reservation (there was an issue with the website). Then on top of that when I brought the truck the next day Thomas was so welcoming and helped me even more. I've heard they are one of the best locations in the area and now I know why.”

“It’s never fun being broke down and i see a lot of driver’s frustrations make it in these reviews. But I feel compelled to write a few words of praise for the night crew here at this location.I’m here because my main air line developed a leak because of abrasions and fraying of the jacket. It’s so rare that it’s a mystery as to how it occurred. That being said, the technician assigned to my truck should be publicly recognized in front of his peers for his professionalism, knowledge, thoroughness and patience in answering every question I had. Seriously, If I had the choice of only one person touching my truck it would be him.It is rare to find these qualities in employees these days. And when you get this lucky you should do everything in your power to promote and retain such talent. But wait, there’s more.There are two more that also deserve to be recognized. They were sitting behind the counter when I walked in to inquire about the status of my truck. More often than not I am left with the feeling that us drivers are an inconvenience that is tolerated because they have to. But these two were different. I walked out of there feeling like I was their only customer. Not of the night, week, or month. Their only customer ever. I really hate spending money on this current truck but if I had the choice I’d spend it here. Too bad this shop isn’t closer to my home in GA.So in summary, I really hope that the management/owners of this business recognize and do what you must to retain your awesome employees. Without them your business wouldn’t exist. Thank you for the positive experience and the opportunity to write these few words of praise.”
“My brother recently moved and spent most of his day driving from one U-Haul store to another after the original U-Haul did not have the truck he reserved. At Penske it took all of 5 minutes to pick up the truck. They were quick and professional. I wouldn't recommend going anywhere else in the area”

You can tell it was one of those days where everything was going wrong and all of it was out of his control. Despite that, he handled everything really well. “This was my first time renting a moving truck. I decided to try U-Haul's Independence Boulevard location. Duke provided outstanding customer service.During my initial phone call, he patiently answered all of my questions. Once at the location, he walked me through the rental process. I appreciated that he mentioned some other helpful items (such as a furniture dolly and hand truck), but did not try to upsell these items.The rental went so well, I returned at a later date to rent another truck. Frank was very helpful then.I would definitely recommend this location to others. The staff is helpful and attentive. Duke and staff, keep up the great work!”
“Quick pick up, lots of room to maneuver. Fast in and out process. They do allow overnight parking at the gate but you must stay hooked. There's room for one or two trucks if side by side.”

“I've been to many Ryder shops in the past two years and this one tops them all. If you're in this area, this is the Ryder to come to. Tyler is awesome. Besides being a good serviceman, he is well detailed. They do have somewhat of a back up due to staff shortage, but ask for Tyler he will get you rolling. The service manager, Shana is so professional at what she does and how she wants her shop ran. Every Ryder should have someone like her. All other Ryder shops/ management should take notice.”

Andrew is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and hospitable. Andrew changed the headlight and charged us very little, for that we are grateful and would reccomend their services.”
