“I was greeted when I walked in and they asked if I needed help finding anything.. I politely declined thinking that I would be able to find scrubs in a store full of nothing but scrubs.. [Side note: they do offer more than just scrubs exclusively, but when you walk in the store you see scrubs everywhere.. different colors, different brands, different materials.. but all scrubs] I am new to the healthcare field so, even though I knew that I needed scrubs, I was completely lost in the “sea of scrubs”. I underestimated all of the different options that they would have and I got overwhelmed quickly! Luckily one of the employees recognized that I had no idea what I was doing and, thankfully, she asked again if I needed help finding anything.. I told her why I was looking for scrubs and she asked me a few questions about my preferences and told me that she would pull multiple options for me to try and put them into a fitting room for me.. the ladies that were working that day went above and beyond to make sure that I was getting what I needed, what made me comfortable and what was in my price range.. they did not try to “sell” me on the most expensive brands that they have.. one of the only sets that I picked out for myself, because I liked the color and the fabric, was one of the more expensive sets that they offer.. the ladies were completely honest with me and let me know that, for what I was looking for, that particular fabric doesn’t hold up as long as some of their other slightly cheaper options.. they were looking out for me and making sure that I was investing my money in something that would hold up and last me a long time.. I am so glad that I chose to go to that scrubs and beyond! I went into this thinking that I just needed a few pairs of scrubs, no big deal, but I had no idea how much help I actually needed! I know those ladies were “just doing their job”, but I have been to more retail stores that make you feel like a burden for asking a question rather than actually taking the time to do their job.. and these ladies went above and beyond to make sure that I had what I needed, what I was comfortable in and what I was comfortable paying.. I will continue to get my scrubs and accessories from scrubs and beyond and I will recommend them to all of my friends and family!”

The cherry on top was their tall pant sizes; I’m 6’2” and finding pants that are long enough is always a challenge, but Cindy’s Uniforms made this trip so easy. “Just went there this evening looking for Nike Dunks for my 15 yr old daughter. I called beforehand to make sure they had 7.5 shoe size and even asked if they could text me pics of shoes so I don't waste my time or theirs. They said they couldn't text a pic. Fine. I was only 17 minutes away and went to the store. Once I got there, there were 4 young guys near the cash register all on their phones and talking amongst each other. The young guy that helped me on phone (didn't catch his name) proceeded to show me the selection of dunks. Now, I'm not a sneaker expert, but these dunks looked a little different than the ones I had just looked at at Southpark Mall. I begrudgingly select a color and he goes to the back to get them. He says "6.5". I say "no, 7.5". As he's back there, I'm thinking to myself, these shoes look like boy shoes so I tell the other guys just hanging out to tell the sales guy in the back that my daughter is not gonna like the shoes and that I'm gonna pass. I leave. All I thought as I'm driving to Social Status is "did this dude just try to sell me some boy shoes?". Lack of choices and lack of people in the store 2 days before Christmas made me think......hmmmm.”

“Supportive and friendly staff!! Shanice (sha-niece) was so nice, patient, and super friendly. She had to bring out more than 10 pairs of shoes for 3 people, and was smiling the entire time. She was knowledgeable about the different model of shoes, as well as the history and culture of the company. Because I wanted a very specific shoe type/color, she brought me multiple options trying to accommodate my needs. Would definitely go back if I'm in back in town! My home girl Shanice deserves a raise - until I met her, I never really considered Allbirds as an option ?”
“I was in today to pick up a hat I purchased a week ago that needed to be reshaped. I handed my ticket over and when she brought out the hat it was the wrong one. It was a bit frustrating after 15 mins of looking my hat wasn't found. The manager, Brian handled this situation way beyond what I was expecting. He took customer service to a new level. Instead of offering me a refund, a new hat, or a discount for a future purchase, none of those would have solved the problem of my missing hat that took me over an hour to find the right one. Brian called a different store and they had it in stock in my size. He drove to pick it up, drove back to the E. Independence store, reshaped it to my liking and personally delivered to my home. This was my first time buying something at this store and from this encounter I can tell they value the customers and want to have recurrent customers despite an oversight. Thanks for the great service.”

“Just went here to find some good commuter shoes since I'm going abroad this summer and will be walking a ton. Everyone here was SUPER helpful!! I was able to find the perfect shoe and it only took 15 minutes!! I had to go before I could purchase them but will definitely be back later this week. Connor helped me, and we looked at several good walking shoes before I found the right one. There weren't any markups either, the shoes from different brands were the same in store as they were on those brand's websites, which is refreshing because some specialty stores will have needless markups. The foot evaluation was very cool too- it evaluated my gait, where I put the most pressure on my foot, and so much more. And it was free!! Super helpful when looking for the right shoe. Definitely recommend this store and this location!! I'll be coming here in the future for all my fitness shoe purchases. :)”

The process started with two phone conversations with Autumn, during which she patiently took the time to discuss in detail the possible options and recommendations regarding the shoes. She then ordered two pairs of shoes in my size. When they arrived within a few days, Bob notified me with a text message. I went to the store and met both Bob and John (Autumn was on a day off). Bob and John were very knowledgeable and helped me in making an informed decision as to which shoe to purchase. I could not have been more pleased with the professionalism and excellent customer service provided by the staff at this store.”
